Thanks so much...the Tech was prompt and thorough and did a great job. We appreciate the communication and information from start to finish. We had a massive hole/crack in the bottom of our shower, the damaged area was probably 6 to 8 inches wide, and we are are so glad this could be an economical repair instead of an expensive bathroom overhaul.

Very cordial and efficient service. They came to refinish my tub and sink in very short notice after Miracle Refinishing, another company in the area, had cancelled out of the blue an appointment made weeks in advance. Within minutes of first contacting them to perform the work I had a scheduled date of service, and prompt email and text reminders. The work that Hector performed was done quickly, efficiently, and exceeded my expectations, which isn’t always easy. There was no doubt that my satisfaction was always a priority and I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of refinishing services.

Poor craftsmanship, but good service. Might've been a fluke, and they generously refunded us $200, absolutely did their best to fix the mistakes, but I still wouldn't recommend them to friends and family. There are cheaper options in the area, but I chose this company because I thought they would be the most professional. We are doing our house renovations entirely ourselves and I was hoping if I paid someone a lot of money I wouldn't have to stress about it being done right. The one and only thing we've messed up on the house so far was a home enamel pour kit on the bathtub, called Ekopel. We asked them multiple times if they had experience with removing it. They said yes but clearly did not. The technician spent the entire morning chipping it off bit by bit, which is what we paid $200 for, and didn't finish spraying the new finish until dinner time. His second job for the day had to be postponed, so he must've been in a rush. He left one big glob in the bottom on the tub, small drips on the front, brown acid on our shower tile grout, gouged out some drywall, left overspray on our walls, and couldn't get a half inch of enamel off the floor tile. They kindly came back and sprayed again to fix everything, but just covered the remaining ekopel on the floor tile again with a thicker layer of new product. We will have to try to scrape it off ourselves, and likely have to put down plastic trim anyway. The large drip is still faintly visible. We also had to repaint the entire bathroom. I asked them to change a sentence in their contract and they agreed, "We do have to tape on the walls with blue painters tape and you run the risk of the paint or wallpaper being damaged." It made me think I might only have to do some touch ups, not entire walls. I would've taped the whole thing had I known. We had them refinish a sink too and that turned out well. We just will have to repaint the metal underneath that we had already painted black, but I didn't tell them to tape it. It was also a bit pricey in my opinion for a small thing. Refinishing is simply not as easy as we thought it would be, and they were very helpful throughout the process, talking us out of doing our kitchen sink too. The bathtub looks perfectly fine as long as you don't look closely. It's just not perfect like I had hoped. If you're more clear about your standards with them maybe you can have a better experience.

Specilized Refinishing just completed a job for me yesterday refurbishing my master bathroom shower. They cleaned the grout, removed and replaced the moldy caulking and sealed the tile and grout. We had a great experience getting our shower refinished. The quoting and scheduling process was easy and quick. Our technicians cleaned up after themselves, and finished the job in about half a day, as promised. I did find a few rough spots in the completed shower after curing, and Chris promptly sent another technician out to touch them up. We're very happy with the finished shower. It looks great, was very economical, and we don't have to tear the stall out and start from scratch, which would have required a custom shower pan and tile, since we were unable to locate a replacement fiberglass stall in the correct size.

I just had my old 1970’s shower refinished and at first glance after the work I thought it looked great. I just took a closer look after the 48hrs curing period and can honestly say it is AMAZING!!! The Technician was punctual, polite and professional – he took his time especially with the prep work. The owners were very responsive extremely on point about the project scope and cost – no ugly surprises. Great experience all around. Saved over cost of demo and a replacement tub. Perfectly fine cast iron tub, just was pink. We made it white with refinish. Cameron gave an explanation of the process on the phone and sent an email quote with before and after photos to make the sale. Scheduling was convenient with office hours after 5p to call in to the office to get on their calendar. Got additional feedback from owner Will to confirm design choices and ROI value of including wall surround vs doing the tub only and going with a different tile option 3rd party. Icing on the cake was their quick turn around. Was on the schedule from POS in under a week and reglaze was done in a half day and it only takes 2 days to cure. Technician Joel was awesome and professional. He sent a text to advise he was on the way and gave a great explanation of the process before he commenced work. Very satisfied with my decision, the value, the outcome and overall experience.

My husband and I are restoring an old home, and wanted to keep the 1916 claw foot tub that was in pretty bad condition overall. We found Specialized Refinishing Co., contacted Will, discussed the process he used, the warranty,(all better than others we contacted), and his price was competitive. Will was very professional and helpful with color options. He re-glazed the inside of the tub and painted the outside, both white, and the feet silver. He was also willing to meet us on a Sat. for us to drop off and pick up, which worked great for our work schedule. The tub turned out beautiful. I would recommend Specialized Refinishing to anyone wanting to restore their tubs. We also saw restored sinks at his business, and they looked beautiful also.

I am very satisfied with the results! The tub surfaces were so worn that it was impossible to keep them clean without using harsh chemicals and the effort never lasted long. Now the tubs look brand new and I am very excited to see how they'll look when I can put on the new hardware.
