Friendly service from the staff good value lunch time meal deals with the option to upgrade from a soft drink to a alcoholic drink for £1. We will definitely be going again when we go to Cannock.

Friendly and talkative staff. Excellent quality of food considering the menu is relatively cheap. Great selection of gins and beers. Nice and welcoming atmosphere for any age. Would highly recommend.

Great portions and tastes lovely but i do feel theirs a cleanliness problem...our first breakfast sunday visit we sent the breakfast back due too mould on the toast, our third visit had something sticky and green on the edge of the plate and the mugs have a constant beige staining...when i challenged this i was told there water marks, i have never seen brown staining on any other restaurant mugs, weve given it a go but i dont think we will be returning as we are uncomfortable with the casualness of the hygiene standards.

I highly recommend this pub to anyone whom crosses into cannock. Recommend looking out for the young polite lad called Aaron. Great service by all. And great atmosphere. As a ex chef publican and bar owner in different country's I have felt very welcome in this establishment and I do believe Aaron will go far in the industary.

Food was delicious. They did mess up our order but the young lad who brought it to us, did his best and got it sorted for us. They also had a DJ on which brought a great set of music!

Went on a Friday night for a meal with my partner and friends and we had booked weeks in advance and still got put on a high drinks table by the door.... had to ask to move table which they did agree too, but when we ordered drinks they took way over an hour to arrive after asking them twice where our order was, even our food arrived first. But the food was terrible. My boyfriend asked for a medium steak and he got a way over well done piece and all the veg was rock solid and my food was undercooked. And to top it off they played extremely loud music from 8 o'clock without even publishing that the pub turned into a evening party night on their website. The service was appalling and the food and drink just as bad would not recommend going at all, worst experience in a bar in my life!!!

The food was good value for the money, however the chocolate cookie did look as though someone had eaten some of it and one of the cheesecakes came to the table hot instead of chilled. Your manager Anna was very helpful and made the necessary amendments of which our table of 11 were very grateful.
A member of staff who I believe to be a team leader Vikki was however very ignorant, not once did she say for us to enjoy our meals, or even come over to see if everything was ok. I myself work within the hospitality environment, so I am aware of how the public expect to be treated. Again I feel this team leader should take further training to hold this position. I also feel she is letting down the remarkable other members of staff.
