Great sofa beds. Super helpful team. Surely the best sofa beds you can buy!

I had a day trip and travelled down to London September 2019, specifically to go to the Furl showroom. My mind was already half made up that I wanted a bed from there. The show room was smaller than I thought, however there were lots of beds in there and I got into most of them, raised and lowered all of them and had a good chat with David and his colleague about the beds, options and quality. It was so relaxed that one of the other potential customers there and I got into the same bed to test out "what it would be like if there was someone liking next to one", with shoes on. Tthe guys from Furl did not mind, if any thing were happy for us to try. I was very happy with the quality of the bed-frames ( and mattress though I did not buy a mattress) and the attention to detail. I did end up buying a bed-frame although not the one I originally thought I wanted. It was expensive for me but as it is my Forever Bed I am happy to pay for good quality. Also it was put together for me which was a massive bonus. Delivery was slightly delayed but communication about that was good so I knew what was happening which was great. Only thing missing was having the Wall beds at the showroom as that is something I would love buy.

I needed to get a sofa urgently. I thought because this shop is just next door to my house, I can ask for quick delivery or I can just get a handyman to bring a new sofa to my living room. I was open to display models, because I knew I wanted it quick and generally it takes 4-14 weeks to deliver a sofa. I didn't had much choice but still I made up my mind on one of the display pieces. The next thing I asked was a discount. Just asked casually if they would give any kind of discount on a 3500£ ex-display sofa which I will be getting picked up and delivered and assembled myself. To which I got an epic reply from the shopkeeper that I have never heard in my entire lifetime. He said "I DON'T HAVE TO SELL THIS SOFA BUT BECAUSE YOU NEED IT, I AM DOING A BIG FAVOR TO YOU BY SELLING IT, SO DON'T ASK FOR DISCOUNT". I was speechless at this rude behaviour, such a bad businessman I must say. I used to cross this showroom every now and then and was thinking I will buy everything from this shop when I renovate my house in summer 2021. But now of course not. I would never ever go back to this stupid seller.

Before you buy a bed, table or chair check out Furl. I went to see the quality of their unique storage beds. I was so impressed with the clever designs, I added a smart coffee table, expandable dining table, set of chairs and bedside tables. Highly recommend

From making the first appointment, to visiting the showroom, to selecting the correct storage bed for me, to delivery and installation of the bed, I found the service to be exceptional. Before I made final selection on my bed and storage size, I took some of my own boxes to see how it fitted inside the storage section. Staff were very helpful in helping me choose fabric and style of headboard based on my bedroom theme and décor. These storage beds are certainly not cheap, however they are a great investment. The quality and craftsmanship of the mattress, bed frame and storage and headboard is excellent. Furl offer different depths of storage based on your requirements. They really are good storage solution for people who live in flats and don't have much storage space.

Showroom is highly recommended and definitely worth a visit. The staff are really friendly, attentive and super helpful. They answered all my many questions - yet also gave me the time and space to test out the furniture. I was able to measure up - and just sit back, lie down and curl up as I wanted - shoes on and off. I visited a few times before I placed my bed order - as I took my time deciding on which product, headboard, fabric and options. The professional staff replied to all my queries - whether in person, by phone, or email. I'm seriously contemplating buying a sofa bed from them too, as the space saving dimensions knock out many other high street/higher end furniture retailers. Do visit if you can.

Visited the showroom today but have not yet made my purchase. Friendly guy in the shop talked me through the different options. The sofabeds are by far the best quality I've seen (and I have visited several outlets). I am looking forward to getting my order in.

We visited the showroom by appointment. The person who served us was courteous and professional. We were given access to all the sofa beds in the range and encouraged to try them out. The available options were clear and uncomplicated. All the sofa beds were made to a high standard. The mattresses are good enough for everyday use. Interest free credit was available. We bought a London in leather with storage arms. Perfect for our purposes and very stylish. All very straightforward and an altogether pleasant shopping experience.

Really interesting furniture that is brilliantly functional. All sorts of exciting secrets tucked away in the tables. The sofabeds are incredibly comfy. Can't wait for ours to arrive.

We went to find a bed with storage due to lack of space in a new flat. The furniture was well-made and the design and choice excellent. Made in the UK which is even better. We also fell in love with the sofa beds which gave lots of options on mattresses and fabrics. David was attentive and responded to all the dumb questions we asked! The trip was really worthwhile and easy to get to using the train and tube. (Social distancing well-arranged too).

Visited the Furl showroom yesterday to look at the mirage bed. Covid rules respectfully followed. The bed was on display and beautiful. Also really great to be able to look at the 100s of different material samples. Can’t wait to order my bed!

Incomparable shopping experience. I had such a great experience shopping at Furl. I was shopping for my new flat and was buying from different companies but none could come close to the standard at Furl. Such an effortless shopping from placing an order to arranging a delivery to receiving the product. Big shout out to the delivery team who has done an amazing job on the day. I was very impressed with my visit to this show room. The staff were very helpful and patient. These are the first bed frames I have found that are flat throughout (like a bed should be), and the mattress options are all very comfortable. I haven’t bought one yet, but have not returned with The Management.

We love our vasca sofabed from Furl. We’ve placed our order earlier this year as we were about to move to our flat. However, pandemic hit and there were delays moving into our flat. We’ve finally got our sofabed delivered this month, which we were excited since we made the order! From choosing our sofabed design, size, fabric until delivery, the experience and service from Furl is top-notch. The sofa is of made high quality, and couldn’t fault the workmanship. Hopefully, will have no issues in the future on the mechanism. Thank you David, MJ, and Paul for your amazing service.

Really great shop, well designed and some great ideas for small spaces. Not cheap but seems well made.

Very helpful staff, willing to spend time to help get the best option that suits you. They went through the options with me for a bed, and did not try to push things I might not need. I wound up buying two items from them, and would happily purchase more if it comes to that.

I popped into this showroom as I’m thinking of buying a furl storage bed. They had a great range on show and the sales person was really helpful with no pressure to purchase. The beds are great with plenty of options on style and fabric.

A great range of sofa options, brilliant to be able to review the colour options in person and try out the finishes. We're super pleased with our new sofa bed, and love it in lemon yellow velvet which we never would have tried without a visit!

We visited the Swiss Cottage showroom 2 months ago coming across the Furl website by chance. It is a fantastic showroom which has all their products on show and knowledgable staff to help you try out all the sofa beds. We were so impressed with the design that we ordered one. It was delivered today exactly to our specifications and was negotiated through a narrow hallway and up to the first floor without any problem. It was put together by two very competent guys in 20minutes. All of our contact with Furl has been a joy - and it is not often you can say that with a shopping experience!

DON'T BUY FROM THEM! We ordered a customised bed in April and still havent received it. I have been chasing since June and understand if it's slightly delayed due to Covid that for 4months it is ridiculous. And we paid 2500 and they just again shifted delivery buy 3 weeks although thry agreed to deliver in few days. The service is absolutely mental and I demanded manager's contact but they dont provide it. Worst company ever

We visited in November 2019 and ordered two sofa beds from Furl. Excellent advice about options - it really helped to go to the showroom. We would recommend them to anyone.

Dont fall for their high rating here, which is falsely manipulated. They dont stick to delivery dates. Constant delays without explanation, customer service takes 3 days to give a useless response. The entire service is a joke and their managers should be ashamed of themselves.

I recently bought a storage bed and mattress and I’m really impressed from the quality of the products. The storage bed is really functional and beautiful. To not forget the professionalism at the show room where I have been guided through the various solutions they could offer to better satisfy my needs, and the assembly service. I would definitely recommend.

Have bought from Furl before and the quality is assured. Met the owner David for the first time this trip. Very informative and really knows his stuff. Showroom is over two floors incorporating sofa beds on the ground floor and storage beds above, loads of fabric swatches to choose from and cloakrooms (disabled amenities also). You can take your time to try everything out without hard selling. Great experience.

Ordered few beds from them , amazing quality and beautiful beds. I am in furniture industry from last 15 years not seen quality like this before in uk . Another positive local made so quick delivery . The whole ordering process was sweet and simple and very professional staff. Coming back for more .

This review is from my partner who bought a sofa bed from Furl recently. 'Furl provided amazing service from start to finish - I needed a sofa bed to make the most of a very narrow spare room. We visited the show room where David was very helpful, and tested out some of the sofa beds. Once we decided to purchase we were in contact with David again as the space we were working with was so tight (less than a cm spare) so we sent measurements and photos of the space. Organising delivery was easy, and was in the expected time frame. Delivery men were great, putting it together in the room with no problems. The sofa looks great, the mattress is comfortable and overall would highly recommend.'

This review should be caveated by the fact that I bought it online without visiting showroom. You can review precisely what I bought in March of this year below and verified by the email receipt from vendor. Should also note I have waited 6 months + to review so I could test it thoroughly. David was professional and generally well meaning throughout. The spec I eventually chose included premium leather fabric. I was sent A5 size samples from a company in Rochdale which was helpful. Skip to the delivery and I selected anytime after 14.00 on a Saturday. The delivery men were waiting at my house around midday when I arrived home with my family from taking son to his swimming lesson. When in my hallway, as I turned around with toddler in arms the 2 men, without asking, were unloading the sofa bed parts from the van heading straight towards us, where we had not even taken our shoes off. This led to a confrontation. Fortunately the more experienced of the two men helped diffuse the situation and gave us some time to prepare. It was a bad start. On to the product. It was a bit higher in back than expected, and it turned out I had been wrongly informed by David on that matter. Frankly I need not have paid the surcharge for the higher back. Looking back at my emails he was wrong on the back height by 10cm. I am quite sure this was a genuine error. The feet don’t touch the floor (hard wood) on either side (pictured) I was irritated that feet were an added extra in the first place and told it helps with balance if someone sits on the arms. They are twee in size and a full cm gap between bottom of feet and floor looks daft. The leather fabric didn’t match the sample in texture. Far smoother and less rugged. This maybe because the samples were old. Not sure but not as expected, generally more anodised and less characterful than I’d hoped. The sofa is basically very hard to sit on and not that comfortable for me personally. If you look at the design the seat cushions are hollowed to allow space for the mattress to fold below, can’t be much more than 8cm depth beyond the front of the seat cushions. So looking at the sofa from the front is deceiving, that is only the depth right at the front (pictured). Underneath is a folded metal bed frame so naturally hard. The cushions for this model are foam covered by feather/down . The feathers are lumpy and too coarse even under leather. To be honest I have no idea why they didn’t select softer feather/down or just have foam. We opted for the buttoned seat backs. Wish I hadn’t. Slightly uncomfortably stick out and hang precariously by a thread. Look good though. The Lampolet mechanism is excellent and well documented. Mattress is good enough and 2m length is excellent. There are considerably deeper mattresses on the market for Lampolets mainly in Europe like ARREDACLICK, upto 20cm, so at 14cm you will feel the frame under the mattress when moving about. Still about the best on the market in the UK. Gaps at the side are annoying and make it dangerous when babies / toddlers on bed as they fall down gaps and quite hard metal below. (Pictured) All of the added extra costs for some things like feet, that should have been included in the first place, left a bad taste. This is the second storage bed I have purchased from Furl. The customer service is excellent and you cannot compare the quality of the bed with other storage beds on the market. It is very well made- very solid with so much storage space which is easily accessible. I have no doubt this bed will last a very long time - I don’t expect to ever need to replace it to be honest. I recommend Furl beds without hesitation - as you are getting a lovely, quality bed and a storage unit all in one.

Some really nice practical and stylish furniture. If you are looking for a high quality sofa bed (that can be brought into any dimension of property) this is the place to come. I will definitely come back.

We were looking for a storage bed. The Furl website is brilliant but we were pleased to be able to visit the showroom in N. London. David patiently explained all the options. It was useful to be able to try out the lifting mechanism for the beds (very easy to use) and look at the extensive range of samples. There is no hard sell just a reliance on the excellent products which sell themselves. Now the difficult part –decision time!

This is the 3rd bed we have purchased from Furl and the beds are brilliant - comfortable, easy to lift, lots of storage space etc. The showroom is light and airy but there are some stairs to climb. There are various bed designs, headboards and mattresses to choose from. The difference in the beds are clearly explained. There is no pressure to buy and you are free to wander round and try out all the beds, mattresses and pillows. There is no rush. Big choice of fabrics and colours. If you are looking for a custom made bed with lots of easily accessible storage this is the place to go.

Extremely happy with my sofa bed from furl. The fabric and colour are fabulous and I receive a lot of compliments from visitors. No one realises it’s a sofa bed unless I tell them and once I’ve told them they want a demonstration, which of course l am happy to oblige! I use the bed on a nightly basis and it is comfortable. The staff at furl were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products and I would have no hesitation to recommend furl.

I have gone twice to look at the beds designed by Furl. The quality is astounding. The tables and sofas are great, once you are there you want to have every piece of furniture that they sell. David was very helpful and recommends what is best for your situation.

We ordered the bed without seeing it before. It was exactly as we expected, quality, size. The construction option i.e. they put it up & talk you through was worth it. Delivery guys were superb. Fits our home very well indeed. The space inside is immense!!! Very helpful for our quest for a tidy home.

It was an enjoyable experience visiting the show room even with a 4 year old. She was fascinated by the furniture mechanisms and had a lot of fun testing all sofas and beds. The products speak for themselves and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. There was even Lego upstairs so that we managed to choose from the massive range of fabrics. David was patient and very helpful.

We purchased a Super King Storage Bed. Very professional service from start to finish. Showroom staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The ordering and payment process was simple and arrangements for delivery, plus the delivery itself and assembly on site were handled efficiently and with no last minute dramas. Due to delays in having a new bedroom carpet fitted we asked on two occasions of the delivery to be delayed. This was no problem, in fact staff could not have been more accommodating and cooperative. The bed itself is, as advertised, a high quality product with which we are delighted. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend Furl to anyone, without reservation.

I first brought a bed from Furl about 6 years ago. It was a Max Storage bed and I was very pleased with its build quality and the amount of storage. I have since brought another similar bed last year. This time I brought the mattress an the pillows as well from Furl and am very happy with the quality of these so far. Highly recommended.

We bought a 'Low' storage bed in leather. Excellent product. Very happy with the service. Very relaxed showroom...no pressure. Basically the products just speak for themselves. Generally in life you get what you pay for and considering we spend a lot of time in bed, their beds are a fine investment!
