We originally bought the TV stand from John Lewis and liked it so much we bought two matching side table as shown. The quality and workmanship of the pieces are excellent. When buying the side table this was direct from the company. before buying we phoned up and I ended up speaking direct to Tom and he was a pleasure to deal with. Subsequent calls and emails have been to other members of the Team including Libbie. What exceptional customer care. When the good were delivered the packing was to the highest quality. We came across furniture made by Tom Schneider while house searching in 2019 after returning to the UK from living in Canada for over 46 years. In 2020 we began to buy pieces of furniture for our new home. During the first two years of our return, we encountered numerous problems with UK retailers and trades businesses.
The problems and issues included: paying upfront for a major kitchen renovation only for the German supplier to go out of business leaving us high and dry, numerous thefts by several tradespeople while doing renovations to our apartment, retailers making misleading promises and, a highly regarded national retailer selling us furniture that was defective and which had to be returned.
In contrast to these experiences and disappointments, what a pleasure it has been dealing with Tom Schneider. Our experience with you has shown to us that not all manufacturers, tradespeople and retailers have, what is at best, an indifferent attitude to the customer. By an large, we have experienced a marked difference in customer service in the UK with a "take it or leave it" attitude. It had seemed to us that UK businesses simply "do not know what better looks like"
These experiences were a marked difference compared to what we had previously come to expect when we lived in Canada.
Not only does Tom Schneider design and make beautiful furniture with timeless designs; they back up their products with EXCELLENT and TIMELT follow-up service. What a difference! What a pleasure!
As the lock down hopefully eases in the coming months, we are looking forward to visits to our home by our family and friends. We are also truly excited about showing them the furnishings we bought from Tom Schneider. They will be true conversational pieces.
We have yet to to complete buying furnishings for our new home and having only relatively discovered your range of innovative designs in your products, we will no doubt be buying from Tom Schneider in the future.

I had been looking for a new TV unit to replace an old traditional glass one for several months. Looked in the usual places but couldn’t really decide, I used the search engine in google and came across Tom Schneider furniture so took a look.
I wasn’t disappointed, the quality was obvious and so was the price though it was significantly more expensive than some of the other units I had looked at!
As I usually do I read the reviews which were all positive, I had already decided the style that I wanted and subsequently ordered it, hoping it was as good as it looked and was value for money.
The Unit was delivered very quickly, was well packed and delivered by a professional delivery team. I carefully unpacked the unit and straight away the quality was obvious, brilliant craftsmanship and unbelievable quality and well worth the price I paid! It looks fantastic and 100% compliments the living room and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase.
If you are looking for a TV unit to compliment your home, I would highly recommend Tom Schneider. Thank you!

Needed a new unit for my TV and sound bar and found Tom Schneider via a web search. My sound bar was wider than the shelf on the Surge Media Unit but an email to them confirmed that the unit could be modified to accommodate it. An email was swiftly sent back to confirm my order and expected ETA. The delivery company kept me up to date re.
date and time and on the day of delivery, the driver called as he was concerned about leaving the package outside as it was raining slightly but I was home within 10 minutes so no rain damage. Once inside and TV placed on it and sound bar and Virgin box placed underneath, it all looks very smart and I am very pleased with it. Product may not be the cheapest but it is up there with the best in terms of appearance and quality. A good buying experience from start to finish and highly recommended.

We originally became aware of this furniture designer/manufacturer when we saw an item of furniture we loved on the John Lewis website. Doing my research, I came across their website and saw all the other lovely products they make and supply. I contacted their customer services department directly to request a couple of samples of the wood and this request was fulfilled promptly and efficiently. We went on to order directly from the website as John Lewis was out of stock but the item was held in stock with the Tom Schneider. We also benefited from an extra 10% discount for signing up to their newsletter. Delivery was within the week, by a professional delivery company who communicated well. The item was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. It now sits pride of place in our lounge and we are considering buying the matching side table as we are so pleased. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

Lived up to expectations with the fantastic craftsmanship and customer service. Really good communication throughout the purchasing and delivery phase and the quality was again outstanding. Well packaged my tables delivered all the way up to Scotland safely and with ease.

This is handmade furniture that clearly has been made to a high standard. Couldn't be happier with our Swirl dining table and Poise chairs. Already have my Swirl side table on order! They also sent out wood samples within a few days to help us decide on the finish. We went for walnut and love it.

We ordered a glass coffee table for our lounge the top of which was made slightly larger for our room. Delivery wait time was 10 weeks and it arrived on schedule. Emailed queries were answered personally very quickly. Feels really good quality and is a very modern and stylish addition to our lounge. Really pleased with it . Would recommend the company.

I needed a new unit for my TV and hifi. The hifi has lots of cables and I called to ask if they could do something bespoke. No problem at all and I sent an email with details. I got a response really quickly with a technical drawing showing the position of the cable management slot, exactly as I had described. Delivery was quicker than expected and I got the unit just before Xmas which was a lovely.boost in these gloomy.times. The u it itself arrived very safely packaged and communication was excellent througout. It is beautifully finished in a lovely natural walnut veneer. The design of the unit is so modern and works perfectly in my livingroom. How great it is to deal with a quality British firm, who can actually get you what you need, no problem. A delight to deal with and would highly recommend. Now looking to get some more pieces to match the unit for a lamp and coffee table.

So this is a follow on review that my husband made recently. Four chairs are faulty and we have been told that they must have been damaged by possibly a weight put on them. This is despite all the chairs having indents in all the same places, see the pictures. The indent is where the timber framing of the chair ends and is clearly a design fault despite all their protestations. A company who had any due regard to their customers, (we have spent around £10k with them) would arrange to get one chair picked up for inspection and then they would see what the problem is, and furthermore make the necessary alterations to the design to prevent it happening in the future. Lets see what response we get to this review, are they going to continue to bury their heads in the sand. These chairs were over £800 each!!!

We recently purchased a walnut hi fi unit which has exceeded our expectations. It is practical and beautiful; all of the wires are hidden from view and because it is so well designed it compliments the other furniture in our Georgian house. My husband got the hi fi unit he wanted and I got a fabulous piece of furniture. Win win.

This company claims it epitomises quality but not in our opinion. We have bought 5 tables and 4 chairs from them which were expensive. All the chairs have developed faults which can be seen on the pictures, this has got to be a design fault, they were only 4 years old when this occurred. They are very uncomfortable to sit on now. The company sent us an email fobbing us off telling us to get them repaired locally. They now have a five year warranty and I tried to register my chairs but they said they were bought before the warranty was introduced, so even though my chairs were less than 5 years old they would not help me. I would not buy from this company with their attitude and quality

Wanted a well made, stylish, low profile stand to go with a new 55" smart TV. The Tom Schneider 1350 Swish fits the bill perfectly. Unobtrusive (TVs are slimmer, so the stands should be too) and a timeless design. Hassle free delivery and installation (comes pre-built, with just the 2 glass shelves to put in place. Thoroughly recommended.
