Excellent visit to showroom. Good selection of quality beds, fabrics, etc. and most helpful advice. Appreciated cooperation afterwards when we realised we'd initially ordered wrong size. A small suggestion - make it clearer on website that showroom visits by appointment only.

Absolutely great storage beds, fantastic and helpful service, and a very simply but effectively laid out showroom. Does exactly what it should- it gives people the space to explore the entire product range, and get to know their personal preferences in the allocated half hour slot. We ended up going twice before placing our order, and were quite happy to have done that even though we stuck with our original choice. The customer service right from David in the showroom to the installation team were fantastic. Would have no hesitation in recommending (already have!)

Fantastic quality sofa bed that they managed to get up my narrow stairs with no issue. Ingenious folding mechanism (main back cushions aren't separate and fold under the bed) and top quality customer service. Highly recommend for those seeking a *premium* modular sofa bed you can fit up narrow stairs.

The design of these beds is well thought out with side or end openings to suit your space and quality mechanism for easy lifting - try some of the competition! The option of removable covers allows for cleaning rather than having to buy replacements though the unusually wide range of fabrics is very tempting. The appointment system makes it easy to try the beds in a calm atmosphere with well-informed staff to answer any questions which is reassuring when considering an expensive purchase. The showroom is easily accessible with free car parking and delivery and assembly went very smoothly too.

This place has exactly what we wanted, a great range of ottoman storage beds in any size and with a very good range of styles, which you can further design with a comprehensive range of headboards and wide range of woods or materials. We absolutely want a Euro King for that extra space over a standard king and this place can deliver.

We found the Storage Bed Company to be very helpful. You need to book an appointment which meant that they had time to see us individually and go through the different features of the beds. We had plenty of time to look through the fabric samples and consider the different options and there was no pressure to buy or to move on quickly. They were very helpful in sending us a number of different fabric samples and now we're looking forward to our new bed which will be arriving soon!

Very happy with the showroom, the sales staff, care of placing the order and delivery , positioning and assembly of this Ottoman bed, when delivered. by this company.The mechanism is Italian but the rest of the product is made and finished in the UK. Well done Furl for flying the "Made in GB flag ".We would definitely be returning to this company should we require another piece of furniture. Quality company +quality piece of furniture. We love the Storage Bed products and have purchased various sofas and beds from them. Having a showroom in London is invaluable in helping to appreciate the quality and range of models available - and to select the fabrics and extra finishing touches. David and his team are really helpful with their advice.

Great bed. Huge amount of storage. Really useful to visit their London showroom and see the different types of beds and mechanisms. Fantastic team inside helped me design my ideal bed. 

Terrible warranty service. I have bought a Cambio sofa bed in 2015 (the stated warranty is 5 years). Recently, it has developed a fault. When I open the bed the sofa carcass tilts. So it now takes two people to open the bed (one has to hold the sofa carcass down)! When I contacted Furl about, two guys came, verified the issue and could not fix it. They also noted that given that the sofa is used by my 11 year old the issue constituted a health and safety concern and needed to be sorted out as a matter of urgency. Paul, who oversees deliveries and repairs, was initially very solicitous but told me he needed to hear from David, the owner, whether the best course of action was to replace the bed mechanism or add a counterweight to the back of the sofa. This was on October 17th 2018. I followed it up with emails on October 20th and November 14th. In both occasions Paul told me he still needed to hear from David. When I emailed Paul again on December 8th I got no reply. The same happened when I then wrote David on December 11th. Since then, total silence. Bottom line: great sofa beds until something goes wrong, but inexistent warranty service.

My fiancé and I had been researching beds for some time before we stumbled across 'The Storage Bed Company' online a few years ago, which has since been renamed to Furl. We visited the showroom in Neasden and were very impressed - the owner was present on the day and was extremely knowledgeable about his products. The amount of storage in all of the beds, but specifically the Max, was significant and just what we required (for my ridiculously-sized shoe collection!). We had to wait a bit before we decided to order but when we returned to the showroom a couple of years later, the owner was there again and just as enthusiastic about his products, which is fantastic to see. We purchased a king-size Max storage bed with end-opening mechanism, 'Deeply' headboard, oak feet, electronic security box and dust cover in 'Linen' fabric. On the day of delivery, 2 men assembled the bed within 30 minutes and were very professional and courteous, and did not leave any mess or packaging behind. The build of the bed is excellent, and it is very sturdy. I am extremely pleased I bought the electronic safe as well, it's been so useful. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the bed and would not hesitate to recommend purchasing from Furl. I would suggest a visit to their showroom if you are able, just to meet with the owner and see the vast array of fabrics on offer.

Do not recommend ! Very poor care about customer, the delivery of our wall bed had 3 month delayed and has been a constant false expectation by giving multiple wrong estimate. Ahould we have been told earlier that it would take 3 month delayed we would have cancelled the order and move to a different company. The company just ignored our request of a commercial action to compensate for the inconvenience, i still wait for an answer as of today... The only positive aspect is that bed has been delivered after 6 month of wait

There are plenty of storage beds out there and we thoroughly researched before ordering from Furl, including 3 trips to their showoom just to be sure. The product is very well made and well designed. We have the bed right up against the wall with a right handed opening and the mechanism does not touch the wall when you lift it upwards due to its clever design. We love having the spacious storage whilst still having that deceptive look of space underneath (we have Simplicity Air). The only thing to say is that it's worth opting for their installation service- the instructions are no Ikea manual! Overall, we are very pleased with our bed, thank you Furl.

Everything about Furl says "quality", their innovative product ideas, clever design, standard of engineering, degree of customisation, their showroom ..... even their web site is outstanding!

I have gone ahead & ordered an extra high Max ottoman storage bed after visiting the London showroom today. Showroom is only an 8 min walk from Neasden tube...easy peasy! Here’s what I learnt by visiting the showroom (hope others find this useful too): - You can see where the extra cost comes in. You are definitely paying for quality & I think going for a cheaper bed would have been false economy in the end & would not have been as pleasing or comfortable on a daily basis. - There is an inner full steel frame that goes around the whole bed like a rim. This is what the mattress base rests on in the down position. Cheaper bed versions from other companies just have wood blocks across the corner which are prone to failure / a design weak point. It could be false economy to buy a cheaper bed. - Proper wooden slats - Middle steel support beam = no sag in future - There are no sections in the storage so I can lay snowboard diagonally. Showroom displays suitcases & boxes in the bed so you get a good visual of how much you can store. - x2 pistons each side make it easier to lift. Cheaper beds only X1 each side. - *** Very well designed & road tested, even down to thinking about the lift angle being very high to make it easier to reach into headend of storage space*** - 5 year guarantee, but he told me that they have beds bought >10 years ago & still no problems/looking great Other: - You can order the fabric to be removable covers if you want to change your colour scheme & easy to buy new ones. Also, the removable covers make the corners look much better (no visible seam / junction). £150 for the removable cover option. And then if you need to buy new covers in future cost = £150. Very reasonable. Removable headboard fabric is only an option in the plain headboard ranges. - Manufactured to order so the you just have to be patient - it will take 8 weeks to be made and there is nothing you can do about that. I also liked: - There were lots of fabric samples to view in the showroom and to my own surprise I completely changed the colour & the fabric I was going to choose after taking time to look through swatches & look at them in good lighting. I also found it very useful to look at them propped up against a bed base from a small distance away. And although texture / feel of the fabric not as important for a base board it would be an important consideration for a headboard. Update: In the end I kept the colour change but switched back to the standard fabric as it did look great in the showroom & was cheaper. - You can’t view all fabric colour choices on the website: you have to go to the showroom & browse the swatch books for that. If you’re still not sure you can request any different fabric samples you want after that, but through the website (you just send a direct email asking for the extra samples; that’s not clear on the fabric request page) - I was able to get help navigating website to price my different options out. I wouldn’t have been able to figure out how to make my request for extra high bed using the website ordering system as the option to add ‘plus size’ to the Max bed doesn’t come up until you are half way through your design build. And it was confusing as they also have a ‘Plus bed’, which is a completely different bed. To make bed extra high select ‘Plus’ as an add on (£195) and then you just specify the bed height you want in the comments section at the end of the order/quote generator. I ended up requesting a 150cm high bed = 47cm storage depth. - Many of my questions were answered within the FAQ section of the website...I just hadn’t been on that part of the website yet. Eg, instructions on disassembly & reassembly when it is time to move. - The ‘standard black’ sub-baseboard looks good & you can’t even see that part unless you’re standing far away. - Saturday delivery is only £25 extra, which is great. Also, I might have a delay of 2 weeks before I can move into my new place & they were happy to delay delivery until I was ready. I’ll edit review in a few years to update on the bed itself

Bought a superking max storage bed from Furl. I can't believe I have gone so long without fully utilising all that space under a bed. I can now store so much stuff and can see it all easily with a light pull up mechanism. This is urban living and I need that space! Furl were very professional, helpful, have a lovely showroom and it was a great delivery service everything came on time with friendly staff.

Tucked away in a small business park just off the North Circular Road in Wembley (just around the corner from Ikea) is the public showroom for the wonderful Storage Bed Company. We had heard about these beds via the internet, and we weren't disappointed. We found the website clear and simple to use, and also to book the visit (scheduled appointments required - Saturdays only). The appointment means that the knowledgeable staff have all the time we need to explain and demonstrate, but without any pressure to commit to a purchase. We are infamous ditherers, and having chosen the bed and mattress we want, we've been stumped by the amazing choice of fabrics and colours for the base and headboard, so we're visiting again to make our final decision now we've selected a bedroom paint colour. All the models of beds are available to see and feel, and we were amazed at how easy the opening mechanism is compared with cheaper models available at the national chains. These are THE standard for storage beds - you won't want any other after you've experienced them. I can't wait to have mine delivered!

Really good explanation of products and help with choosing 3 beds . Fitters were extremely professional and courteous . Great overall service from Becca and David. Really pleased with the beds that we chose.

We loved the showroom and realy apreciated the appointment system so you could spend time with us and answer all our questions. We placed our order on the day and are looking forward its arrival at our London flat.
