Very nice to sit inside again. The staff were very friendly, it was clean but I only got half a cup of coffee once the froth settled! Disappointing!

I am a "regular" costumer at the Bond Road's Costa. And to be honest, that is one of the best coffee stores I have ever been. The costumer service is fast, productive and with a very high quality of coffee and food. The team working there is always smiling, happy to serve and very polite, wich shows from them very high standards of profesionalism and passion from what they do. Thank you very much for all!!

Great the shop has opened again after lock down. This place has been missed for along time. As usual excellent coffee and nice pastry treats. Although it's following social distancing rules, the atmosphere is relaxing. You can even sit in again to relax and enjoy your coffee. Highly recommend a good coffee shop like Costa Coffee.

Got taken here by a friend, and sat there seething. Its a chain, owned by Coca-Cola Company and the coffee isn't even that good, just go to Smallbatch & get a proper coffee from a proper barista and support your local markets.

When I saw the multicoloured haired man child behind the counter who was clearly incapable of managing his own appearance, I had doubts. I pushed through and ordered a coffee only to find it was both burnt and the incorrect order. I guess you can judge a book by its cover because I was spot on.

A good find on North Laines (I think) on a very wet day in Brighton. I clearly arrived during an intense and very important discussion between two staff members and even after being prompted by a third their exchange still took precedence over serving the only waiting customer. Strange how the hospitality service works. It was very wet outside so I did stay put and the coffee was very good (made and served by the third member of staff who did have the grace to look at least embarrassed by the conduct of her two colleagues).
Good range of seating and plenty of newspapers to while away an hour while the weather improved.

Hands down the worst Costa I have ever been in travelling round the country
Were too busy joking amongst themselves to serve customers and when tgey did we wished they hadn't bothered
Asked for a medium salted caramel iced latte... got served a plain small iced latte
My husband asked for white bread toast for our 'fussy eater' son... Got serve brown bread toast with seeds or 'bits all over it' as our sons pointed out.
Might as well go in and ask them for 'whatever they feel like serving' at 'whatever time they feel like' serving it.
As I said .. Worst one I've ever been in :(

Staff know their regular customers well. It is a somewhat relaxing environment.
You can see that there is tension amongst team members, you don't need to look too hard.
You can also sense management and staff are not aligned & manager is not in control/slightly erratic.
Staff can sometimes be overheard talking negatively about some customers.

Very poor service at lunch time today. Staff were misserable, rude and extremely slow. All the tables that were free to sit at had dirty cups/ trays on them and didn't notice them being cleared in the time I was there. I'm only giving two stars because the coffee tasted good.

Below-average Costa. Average coffee-making based on the usual experience at Costa (which isn't saying much). Food was standard as well. The tables were considerably dirty, and the staff were cold and un-engaged. The most notable thing was the filthy tray we were served on, along with the strange hand-cut napkins. I'd recommend the one slightly up the road, beside the Clock Tower over this one.

I can't believe it that I have found a piece of sugars paper in my coffee and it was obvious that they haven't washed the cup. I had a bad feeling because unfortunately I have found paper until almost I was finishing my coffee that I saw the paper . So disappointing of their hygiene.
