I have walked past Les Aldrich music shop many times and decided to actually take a good look inside. It has wind instruments, guitars, pianos and keyboards for sale. Plenty of learning material and text books to buy for various instruments to learn from beginner to basic, intermediate to advanced.
Sadly I do not play the piano but if I did, I would purchase one from here as well as a piano book

I used to shop here a lot more in years gone by when I was buying classical music regularly or buying sheet music when my daughters were learning to play the piano. Recently I needed to find someone that could carry out a speedy repair on my daughter's guitar and decided to give Les Aldrich a try. The service was fabulous, fast, friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Took my 11 year old son to buy his first guitar. Ross sat with him and showed him the different guitar, encouraging and showing him some guitar tricks. My son was very happy. Excellent service and highly recommended.

I had my daughters Violin re-stringed today with a set of Pirastro Tonica.
My daughter began to play and was very upset and devastated to hear that it was horribly out of tune!
I regularly visit Les Aldrich, never had an issue with them.
This round, a big downfall!

Loads of music for all instruments- guitar, violin, drums, piano etc., from your favourite artists. They sell keyboards, string instruments, and all kinds of guitar. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lots of CDs- classical and modern. However, a limited choice of vinyl records.

Very friendly staff, always helpful when it comes to hire and buy instruments and also doing minor repairs. Huge amount of sheet music for every musician/teacher. If they don't have what you are looking for they'll find and order it for you. We recommend this place to all our pupils.

The staff are lovely and knowledgable.
However, avoid the instrument repair chap. He re-fretted a vintage Gibson Les Paul of mine and made a right mess of t, despite me giving very precise instructions on how I wanted the job done.. He rushed the job, so much so he forgot to re-tighten the truss rod and the neck warped.
I took the guitar back in with another LP from the same year to show him how it should look and he still didn't get it right A big signpost to his inexperience is that he couldn't see what he'd done wrong, let alone fix it.
I ended up going further afield to have the job done again properly.

having purchased an expensive guitar a short while ago, which had some fret buzz. I took it back to the shop where they made a feeble attempt to cure the problem, while searching for a guitar repairer I came across Les Aldrich, having spoke to Edward, he was confident they could fix it, the guitar was left in the loving hands of his brilliant luthier. Enrico, who done a first class job, not a buzz to be heard. I was also impressed by the manor of the young men who served me, clearly, the ethics remain as they did from years ago, many thanks guys.

I’ve been trying to source some learning aid stickers for my 5 year old so I called this place in Muswell Hill. After a few minutes on the phone the chap explained that they have afew different types. So I drove down paid for parking only to be told they only have dots. At this point I wanted to .... ... up. This place is a waste of space. Don’t bother with it. Hope your happy now Les Aldrich. I also asked if they know of any other music shops. Dumb and Dumber just looked and shrugged. Poor service, terrible communication skills.. WTH.

Enrico Savoncelli, the luthier, has done extensive work on all of my guitars, from wiring to setups to a full restoration of my main instrument. Much of this was highly customised work done to amazing standards, at reasonable prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my guitar needs.

Enrico the Luthier here is fantastic, I dropped him off an old Gibson SG that had some very battered fret's and generally needed a good service. The re-fret job has been done to a very high standard and plays beautifully! he even sorted out some electrical issues that had eluded previous guitar tech's I had given it to. Highly Recommend!
