Bought a small sharp pointed pair of dressmaking scissors in this store today (obviously for cutting mine and my husband's hair!!) Could not find scissors anywhere else and even Amazon could not deliver them until July but they were perfect!
Much tidier and happier husband and dealt with my fringe perfectly.
Possibly something of a back handed compliment but THANK YOU very much! perfect job! ????

The shop itself has good products and is always tidy. I've been in several times and staff really need some training in customer service and communication. Apart from a younger lady who is lovely the others can barely crack a smile. If you have a child with you who likes to say hello, dont expect anything back. Very disappointed.

Hiya,
I just want to say how amazing the women who work here are. I went into the shop yesterday to buy some things for backing my first quilt after having already made the front. Without even asking the woman behind the counter gave me loads of really helpful advice for making my first quilt. She took the time to properly explain how to do everything and what the best bits to buy would be. The women working their all told me about the firsts quilts that they had made and even said I should bring mine in to show them once it's finished, such caring and personal service!
I will definitely be coming back for my next project :D I cannot recommend them enough!

There is a wide range of fabric's cottons, wool, silks bottons and haberdasheries items. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have order items in for me when they didn't have enough. Always in and out of this shop. Keep it up.
