After taking the 5 day Dreamweaver CS6 "Zero to Hero" ACA course in Manchester, I can honestly say that the teaching and facilities were really great. Ian, our instructor was patient and informative as well as providing information over and above the requirements of the final exam. Even when there was a technical problem during the examination on the final day, he went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was sorted and we could carry on with minor interruption.
I came away both suitably qualified (passing the CS5 and CS6 examinations) and happy enough to recommend this company to anyone who needs training in the Adobe products.
I will be returning in the near future for more training.....

Unfortunately let down by Pearson VUE and the quality of the Adobe exams, however this is in nothing to do with Academy Class.

I have completed 2 courses with Academy Class. The HTML and Dreamweaver courses and both were very thorough and gave a clear insite into an unfamiliar topic for me. I came away having confidence plus lots of references to help me in a new area of design. Both tutors were very knowledgeable and the flow of the studies even with different student experiences made the courses very enjoyable.

I have just completed the ‘InDesign 101 Yellow Belt’ training course. It was very well structured, providing a good overview of what can be achieved using InDesign software. By the end of the course I was confident enough to start exploring and designing on my own. I would defiantly recommend this course to anyone who is starting out, as it will save you a great deal of time, promote good habits and professional practice.

I completed the Photoshop Yellow and Green belt (with ACA) course last week. The tutors were very knowledgeable and experienced and were very patient with some of the learners who struggled in our group. I did the five day course and went from a basic beginner to a Photoshop master. Would definitely recommend the course. Teas and coffees were provided as well as lunch vouchers.

I recently completed the first half of my Creative License course for 3D Studio Max and had forgotten exactly how much effort it takes to learn new skills and not just coast through work life on autopilot. Thankfully Ricardo (our Academy Class tutor) was there to soften the blow. The course was well layed out but not so rigid that we didn't get to learn some extra bits when we did the basics well and spend a little extra time on the areas that caused problems, also the layout of the classroom with a monitor showing the tutors work situated next to every student monitor was very useful. The admin staff were very friendly and happy to help whenever needed and based on the perplexed looks on most of the people exiting the other courses I assume they were fed an equally abundant amount of knowledge to take with them on their future software journey.
All in all I would highly recomend AC to anyone and look forward to returning for part two of my course.

I have taken one of their Auto Cad Green Belt Courses on 16-17th Nov.
1. Email was sent to me on Friday morning 13th asking me to give our lunch choice by 1pm on the same day. It was a bit last minutes and I didn’t get chance to read my emails until 3pm! So I couldn’t place the meal order. I know there was another guy in the course also complained about this issue.
2. 2 topics (use of Sheet sets and Tables) were totally missed out! These 2 topics were the main reason that I wanted to take the course! These are the topics lists on their course content!
3. No supportive materials are provided
4. In addition, the toilets in the building they occupies are in poor condition.

I have recently completed the Cascading Style Sheets 201 course. It was a three day course ran by our instructor, Tomas; who was articulate, knowledgeable and well organised. The sessions were light, informal and easy to digest, but very in-depth and thorough. The class was small enough to feel as if my strengths and weaknesses in the subject were being properly assessed and if any obstacles were encountered, Tomas was patient and helpful. The course layout was practical, and enhanced the learning experience as each student had their own monitor to closely follow the tutor through each section of the course. I could not recommend this course enough for anyone looking to improve their skills and gain more confidence in CSS.

I was looking to undertake a course in photoshop within central London and came across Academy class on google. I explained to Roberto Rupi what my requirements, objectives and the timing restrictions I had attending between work commitments. He quickly offered a detailed summary of courses and provided further information along with video tutorials to offer an insight to what he felt would be suitable. Best of all, he wanted to find out what I wanted to gain from the course rather than sell multiple options or look at a quick sell.
The photoshop 101 course was taken by the tutor Peter who was excellent. His clear methodical manor of delivery was perfect and catered for all attendees who ranged in experience from beginner to people requiring a ‘refresher’. The environment and equipment used for the course was ideal and included a mix of PC and Apple machines along with tutor screens in-between monitors so you could follow the instruction easily. I liked the idea of understanding how other attendees wanted to benefit from using the course and the ways in which they would apply elements to their work – bouncing ideas and different viewpoints made for a better experience.
Highly recommend and would use again for my personal development and that of our company employees.

Very good deal - long-term value for money and a good course. I took the HTML101 (beginner's course). It was well-taught and good materials were made available, from youtube videos to a book to help follow the course. So far so pretty-much-like-anywhere-else. But where Academy came through is that they offer a free resit on any course within 6 months of first taking it. I combined this with an offer they had at the time of a free second course and returned months later to both refresh myself on HTML 101 and sit HTML102 straight afterwards. All for no additional cost! Can't fault that. Academy do in instances have the occasional penny-pinching reflex. Like only £4 (in vouchers) being made available for lunch, and tried to skimp on giving me a new book for my resit despite the one from the old course being clearly obsolete. They also spectacularly misspelt my name -- in two different ways -- on the two (unimportant) certificates they prepared for me at the end of the courses the second time I attended. But all those issues, aside from lunch, got easily resolved once raised, so all in all I can thoroughly recommend Academy Class!

Currently in the process of completing Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Certification Jumpstart courses at Academy Class. When booking the courses a representative from Academy Class explained clearly all of my options and tailored a package to best suit my needs. The trainers are clear, concise and have an excellent knowledge of software they are teaching which enables them to deliver a quality package. Courses are available for beginners and tutors are supportive with helping you achieve your goals. Equipment and facilities are first class. I would recommend Academy Class courses.

I have recently completed 3 weeks of training at Academy Class, InDesign 101 & 201, Photoshop 101 & 201 and Illustrator 101 & 201. I left feeling confident in my new skills & even if you have a basic understanding of each of these programs the course will teach you quicker and easier ways of completing tasks.

I did a 2 day course (Photoshop 101) at Academy Class recently which was thoroughly enjoyable and I came away feeling confident that I had learnt a lot. The tutor Tony Harmer was excellent and despite being a Photoshop Guru had no qualms about taking it slowly and going back over things for us novices (some may be tempted to run away with themselves or be frustrated with those less experienced) but he was very professional and patient. I would not hesitate to book another course here. Location was excellent and staff very friendly.

I took the Illustrator HotShot 201 course recently. Despite using Illustrator everyday in my job, I was incredibly pleased to come away with so much information I did not previously know. The trainer Matyas was great, really helpful and very patient and prepared me for the ACA Exam - which I passed.
I'm now looking forward to applying my new skills in my next project. Great course.

I completed 3 courses of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign. I had 2 different tutors but Mark who ran the illustrator course was BRILLIANT.
Course centre and equipment ok. Certificate and post course information, non existent.
I was ill on one day of the course and wanted to retake it another tine. They said they would get back to me and never did.
Wouldn't use them again.

Always hate it when having to do one of these.
Recently completed a 3 day course on InDesign at Academy Class. From the initial enquiry I found their staff to be helpful and knowledgable about the course requirements and I must admit the price of the course was very reasonable indeed (esp when your company is paying for it)
Couldn't fault the person running the course. Knew what he was talking about because he has used the software for years, yet he was able to put us all at ease and if you had a problem he was there to get you through it. Gave us all additional understanding of getting the best out of external printers so that was a great bit of additional information too.
The course work covered 99% of what I needed (the other 1% I had already figured out through blood, sweat and tears)
The course notes have already come in useful and I must admit I seem to have remembered what he said during the 3 days - considering what we covered I expected to forget a fair percentage of it.
I recommend Academy Class!

3DS Max Jumpstart Course. An excellent course, delivered by a friendly and highly trained instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and feel confident that I have enough knowledge of the program. This is my second time training with Academy Class, having previously attended an AutoCAD course. That speaks volumes for how highly I rate the training on offer here.

For those that are taking the Autodesk Certified Professional exam, please note that the examination software has errors & 4 questions could not be answered. The Center does not accept liability for the errors even when they are fully aware that their are issues. I have taken the same exam twice at this centre & both time 4 errors appeared. When you complain, they take your details and photos, however when you contact Autodesk UK to complain the next day, Autodesk UK advises that the centre advised that I did not complain. Dont waste your money at this examination center, try elsewhere. Regards

After attending the InDesign Zero to Hero course, I’ve learnt so much in 5 days and what’s even better is I’ve been able to use everything I learnt in my job every day. This has made my work so much easier!
From the day I booked to go on the course they emailed me all the details and let me know where I needed to be and which time. The location is close to the station and easy to get to making it a very enjoyable experience.
I cannot praise my trainer enough, Mark Gatter, who is an InDesign genius! Not only did he teach us the syllabus in depth in a friendly, relaxed environment but allowed us to ask questions related to our own personal work specifications which was so helpful.
I would definitely recommend Academy Class and I’m going back next month for more training!

visited Academy Class to Do a Creative Suite Course for Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. The location of the venue was Central london, easy to get to via Tube and rail links. The correspondence I received before hand made it very easy to get everything organised. Course Syllabus was all provided and everything was laid out in a professional manner. Lunch was catered for, which was also a welcomed addition! The tutors (I met Two) were absolutely fantastic. They obviously have done this for some time as their structure was effortless and flowed from one topic into another seamlessly. Their knowledge of the programs, was great and what really helped was their understanding of the business world, and how what we were learning could be applied in real life. They helped us through the course, checking our understanding as we went, but also were kind enough to help us with any issues we had encountered that was of the beaten path of the course. They were very approachable and friendly and we happy to offer us tips and tricks to help us get ahead. The facilities were perfect for the course, with ample machines both PC and MAC based, air con and well lit. I would highly recommend using the Academy Class, and i look to taking on more courses in the future. A Must for those who wish to increase their skills.

My experience at Academy Class was awesome. I'm currently in the process of changing careers and I was looking for a course that would cover the skills I need. I enrolled on the Creative License course which covers the programmes of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. The course was pitched perfectly and the tutors were second to none. I learnt so much more than I thought I would and it was worth every penny. I was probably one of the few people their that was self funding my course as most people were in jobs that were paying for their development. This means I was particularly conscious of it needing to be money well spent and it really was. I now have all the tools I need to complete my portfolio and hopefully get my foot in the door at a design agency. There are so many other courses that I now want to do with Academy Class and everyone I spoke to would recommend going. I'm really looking forward to the next one whatever and whenever that may be!

I looked online for a training centre within the London area for AutoCAD. I come across Academy class, which i found were very reasonable and their facilities looked very up to date.
I took the AutoCAD rookie 101 and AutoCAD hotshot 201 courses and it has helped my knowledge of the software massively. The instructor Ricardo was great, he was very patient with the people in the class that were struggling to keep up.
All the staff at Academy class were very polite and helpful, from booking the class to gaining a certificate of completion for the course, the service they offer is first class.
This has made a great addition to my CV and has opened up wider range of opportunities for the company I work for.
I have also booked a 3DS Max course in the new year, so i cannot wait to see what else i have been missing.

I have recently completed the Yellow Belt and the Green Belt courses in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. The tutors are excellent – knowledgeable, professional and very friendly as well as the rest of the team.
The courses are very well organised and structured. I have learned a lot, became a lot more confident using the programs, passed all Adobe exams and became an Adobe Certified Associate in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Overall it was an amazing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Academy Class and I am definitely planning to take more courses in the future!

I was extremely impressed with the InDesign 101, 201 and 301 courses that I have recently been on in Waterloo. The centre itself was very easy to find and located next to Waterloo train station. The staff were all very attentive and helpful – from pre-booking through to post course information. Adding bonuses were certificates for completing each course, free hot beverages, biscuits and sweets, and luncheon vouchers.
For the 101 and 201, I was taught by Mark Gatter – a very interesting and engaging tutor. Mark has published books on InDesign and certainly knew his stuff, and went above and beyond my expectations for what I could achieve within 5 days. Mark had extensive notes and materials on the subjects covered, so I feel confident that what I learnt in the classroom can be transferred easily to my daily job with reference to these.
For InDesign 301, I was taught by Nigel French. I can equally sing Nigel’s praises, and similar to Mark he has published books and also tutorials. Very knowledgeable man and he was very patient and attentive when I couldn’t comprehend things. The group was very small too, which is always a bonus!
I would definitely go back to Academy Class again!

I have recently completed the Hotshots Photoshop Course through Academy Class and have found the classes to be well organised and very professional. I was very lucky to have a tutor that took the time to explain, in great depth, the inner workings of Photoshop and as a regular user of this software there were many things that I was not familiar with. The great aspect of the course was that we were assisted with a separate screen to help follow the tutor. Academy Class had also offered the hardware that I needed to pass the exam for example a wacom tablet, apple mac and indepth course notes.
I would certainly recommend Academy Training especially to anyone who found themselves needing to retrain, a position I found myself in not so long ago. The calming influence of our tutor made it easy to absorb some quite tricky workflows, which can be quite daunting. So, all in all a very enjoyable experience. Thank you

I have recently been on the CSS and HTML 5 course in Manchester. This is the second time I have been on courses with Academy Class, the first being the After Effects course in London. My After Effects course went so well, I honestly thought there would be no chance I can learn the programme in 5 days but the tutor taught us so well that I actually finished the course with a huge amount of knowledge for After Effects. I now use it every day and can create some stunning adverts thanks to Academy Class. My HTML 5 and CSS course recently in Manchester was interesting and again I did not think I will be able to elarn it within 5 days, but again i was wrong, I can now create amazing web sites that are CSS driven and I am confident enough to know how it works not just how to design the web sites. I highly recommend The Academy Class for any course, you certainly get your money worth and gain the experience you need. I am hoping to return in the new year for a photoshop course.
Thanks to all the staff for helping me gain more experience in a line of work I enjoy doing.

I trained with Academy Class for both the Android and iOS jump start courses and I was amazed by the expertise of their instructors. Both instructors were so up to date with the latest technologies and they had all the answers which the students asked.The iOS instructor informed us that he had been coding since he was 7 years old and that was reflected in the fact the he knew iOS, Photoshop, HTML5, PhP...the list is endless!
I have already made Academy class my first point of call when I need training as a software developer and I will recommend them to a friend when they need training.
