This place was a great find when we visited on Bank Holiday. My two little girls are new, but avid fans of Tintin and they really enjoyed the experience. The owner was brilliant. Full of facts and knowledge about his subject. Very sad to hear that he will be retiring. If only I could take the business on!!

Joe's Store is Awesome!!! I bought Tintin key rings from the US. I called him and he replied promptly. Dealing with him was so easy. He is courteous and always follows up with his commitments. The Keyrings arrived in perfect condition and I am one happy and satisfied camper! Wish more merchants on the internet were like him!

Great little shop. Just one of many independent gems that Nottingham is famous for. Loved chatting to the owner Roy about his days out in Los Angeles. Very interesting man and worth going in just to meet him alone! Really want one of the Barracuta jackets that he gets in, couldn't find one anywhere in London, but he seems to have them. Lots of very quirky gifts for sale as well as some great books. Well worth a visit in on the way to the castle.

Love him or hate him, he's the owner of one of the coolest shops on the planet. Personally I think he's great, but I thought it was time someone awarded him something other than one or five stars. He probably won't agree!

Best quality TinTin merch I've ever seen. Easy transaction. Had a brilliant chat with the owner, very knowledgeable about his stock and the surrounding area. His dog is pretty cute too, 12/10 would pet again.

A truly amazing venue, with some fabulous items in stock. One of the few places in the entire UK where you can buy the exclusive and iconic Baracuta G9 jacket as worn by the kings of cool Elvis, Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen. There is also a beautiful range of Tin Tin merchandise including watches and apparel. There are many more wonderful items, well worth visiting whenever your in Nottingham put Joe's store on your list of shops to visit. Very pleased with my last purchase, and greatly enjoyed my conversation with the owner Roy about the 70's, he has some hilarious stories to tell : )

Bought another ex-display print today for a mate who is a massive tintin fan. He absolutely loves it and knows he'll not get one of these anywhere else. Great price, great service and even gift wrapped! I'm positive I'll be back.

As a potential customer, I found the owner/ worker extremely rude and argumentative. My friend had accidentally dropped his food around 10 meters away from aforementioned shop, only to he rudely approached by a worker at the shop, as he shouted obscenities to pick said food up. The three of us were actually on our way to buy something at Joe's Store, but I can safely say I have never experience such a rude man. Customer service training is definitely needed.

I've been a regular customer at Joe's store. I always had a warm welcome. Whatever you're looking for gift wise or a key ring for your new car, you'll find something. I'm glad to have a great Tintin shop on my door step.

Beware ! This shop is addictive ! My Christmas list has just been extended I went in today and now I am seriously worried about all the other things I want to buy and won't sleep tonight, knowing it's Christmas in only a few weeks. It's unlike a lot of other shops in that its not crammed full of tatty stuff supporting a few good bits. Just about everything is actually cool and theres plenty of room to breath. Reminded me of how Nottingham shops used to be. Its obviously been carefully selected and and has a feel of quality and long standing classic design. I think I spoke to the owner today, as he was very helpful and knowledgable about all of the products ( seems to know his stuff ) I bought a racing car and a model plane, two of a much wider range, which I haven't been able to get hold of anywhere else in Nottingham. In fact I have only seen them in a few limited places. If you want an added bonus you get to stroke a puppy, which I believe is also the owners. visiting again soon !

Really cool shop. It's very niche, but if you're into it, you'll love it.

Owner/shop worker was very very rude. Bought a picture for a birthday present and when I arrived to collect it, it was pre wrapped. This wasn't an issue, but it turns out when I got it home the picture and the frame were damaged. It was obvious, so I know that it had been pre-wrapped to hide the defects. When I returned the picture I was met with hostility and told that this is what you should expect from an ex-display piece. I'd disagree with this even I'd known it was ex display on purchase, which I didn't. To top things off, instead of being refunded I was accidentally charged the full amount a second time, so had to be refunded double. He even argued with me about giving me my proof of refund receipt, never seen anything like it in my life. Stay away.

Very rude individual, I saw him holliering abuse at a cyclist last week. I wouldn't want to even look in his shop let alone purchase anything with manners like that, absolutely disgusting.

5 star smooth, international shipping experience. I had been wanting an Original Baracuta G9, 36 Navy, but didn't want to pay baracuta's retail price. Smooth invoice, paypal, receipt, royal airmail shipment. Jacket arrived in Indianapolis, very timely (for international dispatch!) with tags and in perfect condition. This is my 2nd Baracuta jacket purchase. Thanks again Roy!

They sent a package which didn't arrive, instead of helping track it down by at least telling me how it was sent, I was abused over email then ignored. I was lucky because I used paypal so issued a PayPal dispute. That really livened up the email abuse. The abuse was from Roy, not sure if he is the boss or not, I'm assuming he is. Would recommend shopping elsewhere.

Very rude! Called to enquire about something and the man hung up on me and then refused to answer the phone again. Avoid this place at all costs! They don't deserve to have a business
