A gem on Sherwood's highstreet! A huge variety of beautiful things to explore in this lovely colourful shop. I know the owner personally sources a lot of things from Nepal, often travelling there with huge suitcases to bring back her stock! She's so knowlegedble about the people who make things, and each item has a story. A joyous shop to visit and great for gifts

I am obsessed with this shop! It's so beautifully chaotic, I could get lost in there for hours. It's so perfect for gift buying as you know you'll find something truly unique, and I love picking up bits for the house and garden too.

I have been buying from Elefair since it started as a tiny business in the early 2000s and I invited them to display their wares at a university ethics and environment festival. The jewellery, felt work and paper handicrafts are my personal favourites, they are so so beautiful, colourful and reasonably priced. Everything for sale as far as I'm aware is hand picked by Elefair's wonderful owner, who is a true friend to the Nepali people who make much of Elefair's products and are paid fairly for their work which is a key goal of the business. Elefair is a wonderful local business with a positive global outlook. Check it out :)
