Having now been to Poppies in Camden Town a few times I am always amazed at the quality of the Fish which is beautifully fried. The Chips are the best I have had. The service is excellent so a big thank you goes to Halis the Manager. He runs a tight ship with professionalism. Highly recommended.

I've always had a great time even getting a take away today. The fish cakes are excellent, the bread roll was lovely for the chip butty. Excellent service, good music. Great friendly staff. I love the place. The chips are proper and fresh as is the fish.

This was the second visit since their opening following lockdown. My Haddock and chips were cooked to perfection. Chips were light and fluffy yet crisp on the outside. Batter on the fish was light and golden in colour not thick and stogy as you find in some places..... simply PERFECTION at CAMDEN!!!

Food is okay but has nothing special. It is super touristy and crowded. You wait quite some time before having your food to be served and the chips aren't crispy nor hot, fish is boiling hot, same as mushy peas that aren't really good.

Very good location to have your dinner and have a beer with a live band performing. The service is good and the food is also good, specially the chips and fish dishes as the name suggests. Night life is also good as you have lots of pubs around. Ideal if you have a gang of people to go with. Overall i had a pretty good time there.
