I went on 22/4/2021 ~ The store is clean, provides hand sanitizers, clean station to clean trolleys. Store is not busy today, 95% customers wore face masks, disappointed to see some asda staff not wearing masks correctly!!!!! Had a massive complaint back in June 2020, as most staff didn’t wear masks, no one way system, no social distancing, cleaning station was dirty & most cleaning spray were empty! So it’s nice to see improvement. Didn’t need assistance today, however had a few incidents in store & staff / even management were not helpful & friendly. Hence we only shop at asda occasionally. Price is fair, loads of everything for everyone. Plenty parking.

Store itself is ok. Only prices are wrong. I come there to save money and look what I get. I only can notice at home because groceries with little ones is a nightmare so I kind of rely on what I see on the price and it doesn’t match the price on receipt. Shame... Cherries £1 - receipt £1.19 x2 Peppers I got 3x but one was different , I took on purpose because needed one green and I know the price is 0.90 not £1.25 So from only me this place made 0.73 . imagine how many thousands they can make daily from people that do not realise or won’t go for every 50p to the customer service ..

Daughter went in to buy 4 for £10 Easter eggs as advised on TV only to see there was no point of sale saying which ones are on offer so guessed it was the £3 ones but when got to the checkout they weren't so put them back,I've just tried to ring the store but an automated message said they could not take my call and to go to their web site and that does not say which ones ate on offer either so off to Tesco we go.

ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE store, it might seem alot of people are parked up but don't worry as the store is that big inside you have plenty of space to move. Great place to shop.

Awful social distancing procedures, an abundance of unfriendly staff chatting away and obstructing aisles. The lower prices used to make the poor customer service and grim shopping experience somewhat bearable, however prices on lots of products have been creeping up for a long while now.

Terrible customer service experience. This happened in October 2020, but I've waited to review as I'd hoped for some resolution. Drove into Asda car park and stepped into a huge puddle of bright blue paint! Not what you'd expect! Grabbed baby wipes from the boot. The paint was all over my shoes, the front tyre of the car and now all over my hands/nails. Also realised it was also splashing up onto my jeans, my coat and the cars paintwork. Husband went to talk to the trolley collectors to let them know so it didn't happen to anyone else. Spoke to the members of staff directly opposite us on the next row down in clear view of what was happening. My husband was told that they "were aware", "they knew" and "to be careful". This advice seemed a little late to say the least! No help offered to clean anything - not even a bucket of water or paper towels! Contacted online customer service team. Reply said that I would need to return to the store and complete an ‘accident form’ and speak to the manager, to discuss financial compensation. Pointless and unnecessary (in the current climate) trip to Customer Service desk was made to discuss the matter. Not offered an accident form to complete and told I should have done this on the day. At no point did anyone tell me that this was what I needed to do. I explained I'd thrown the shoes away as they were ruined and was told I should fish them out the bin and bring them in! (Even though I showed clear photos I had of the damage and the paint was still in the car park (albeit with cones now around it - finally!). Wrote to the manager of the store about the matter and received no reply at all. Very disappointed that the only advice given in the situation was to buy new items, then bring them in to get money back (how does that benefit me financially for the inconvenience of having paint all over me and my car or the items I had to throw away?) Left disappointed in the whole customer service experience. No offer of help from anyone at the time and no help from Customer Services or the manager afterwards. This used to be our regular supermarket (and the brand as a whole for online shopping too), but haven't been back since and will not use their online services again either.

Went to fosse Park asda yesterday Sunday 21st March and was absolutely appalled by the lack of manners and help I received at customer services. I paid for my shopping which came to just under £120 and the lady on the till informed me my card hadn't gone through even though my side of the machine said approved please remove card. She asked me to try again and assured me the previous one hadn't gone through. I entered my pin a second time and all went through OK. On my way out the store I decided to check my online banking and there it showed that asda had indeed taken 2 payments out of my account. I went to customer services and was informed there was nothing they could do. They said they hadn't taken it twice and I had to take it up with my bank. I phoned my bank they said I needed the store to refund one transaction. The store are still refusing to do this so now I have to wait for my bank to investigate this! In the meantime I'm now overdrawn on my account so will be charged for that as I told them in store yesterday my mortgage was going out today as due to THEIR Error there wasn't enough funds in my account to clear. So I'm £120 down for the shopping being taken twice overdrawn fee plus a returned direct debt fee and also a charge from my mortgage company!! All down to asdas incompetence!!!!!!

Had the misfortune to visit there Wednesday last. Shocking ignorance of social distancing. I was brushed past on three separate occasions by staff members. One that leaned across me to retrieve an empty box, and two that were faffing around with my screen at self service, both joining me in the partitioned cubicle at one point. Not to mention the two planks that were chatting away in the middle of aisle near the veg racks forcing people to have to pass within 2 meters to get by. Its simple, train your staff and make sure they apply the training. Your customers safety is YOUR responsibility, ACT ACCORDINGLY.

Advertised as open 24hrs, made a special journey at 11:30pm for essential items to find store closed, no mention of it on website or anything. Absolutely appaling

For the last few nights it's been shut overnight with no prior warning, if only they had some sort of website or a public platform where they could inform people of this ⸮

Shopped at Asda and purchased some reduced women's clothing. An extremely rude staff member named Harvinder tried to imply I'd changed the reduced labels as scanned price was different to labels. Her two colleagues had to apologise on her behalf whilst she walked off and went to security desk! Harvinder showed Total disrespect for customers and should not be in her job! Thankyou to the other staff members who were polite apologetic and customer focused.

It's big! Choice is huge especially fruit and vegetables, massive car park with plenty of disabled bays, a good cafe, toilets aren't very big but are usually well looked after. One thing missing is a charge point for electric cars, which talking of cars Asda has an excellent filling station and shop and a well set up car wash facility.

The service in the cafe is extremely slow. The vegetarian breakfast was appalling, 2 sausages, one hash brown, one egg, but mainly a load of beans. We didn't get toast. But they only burn it anyway as I saw them do it for someone else. We got charged for an extra one breakfast, but because the queue was so long and social distancing, we couldnt go to the counter and complain and get the money back for the overcharge.

Poor review on Asda, letting people in the store with no face masks. Stood and watched within five minutes 3 people entered and no one challenged them. Staff with no masks, really poor with the state of leicester coronavirus cases.

Normally experience an enjoyable trip to the Asda store but recently received very poor customer service. Item purchased was wrongly priced and when I took the pricing label to the customer service checkout the label was ripped to shreds by an employee and a manager then suggested that the label had been swapped. Unfriendly, abrupt and a formal complaint lodged but still no response or acknowledgement of the complaint.

A store I have been to and experienced many times over the years. Staff have always been friendly in the store and most things are usually well stocked, so you don't have to usually compromise your choices of food and other groceries in the store. Store provides good seasonal sections with good execution when suitable and is very highly maintained. Baked goods are always fresh and I have never had a problem with them, aswell as their fresh meats and fish. They're all affordable and are nicer then most places which have butchers.

Lovely big asda which is easy to browse and always has lots of great offers. Lots of free parking and also easily accessible if on foot, cycling etc. Easy to navigate the layout - quite a large clothing section catering for children and adults with clothes, underwear, pj's, shoes etc. Some home and gift aisles and of course food! Fruit and veg always well stocked. This asdas also has a pizza counter which makes pizzas for you while you shop and collect within 10 / 15 minutes!

Ever since I moved to Leicester, I've made my significant purchases at ASDA, until today when I was utterly disappointed by a doorman, aka "security" who, because I wasn't wearing a mask, kicked me out the door using unprofessional language. I asked him why I am the only one who is asked about the mask and not other people who passed by me, and he replied that those people have asthma. I mention that he didn't wear a mask. I asked to speak to the manager; he refused. I asked him his name, and he also declined to answer. I looked at his chest and had no ID, only a camera and a blank access card. I don't know how to hire as a doorman at ASDA, but I guess you don't need too much school for this job. Too bad the other kind employees.

Absolutely disgusting service refused to serve my mom 52 years old because I didn’t have ID when the wine was for my mum and I’m 32 with my 7 year old son. Does that mean I can’t buy alcohol when I have a child with me? Pathetic was so rude. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I came to Leicester for a few days to visit family but unfortunately I forgot all my medication. As I have several medical conditions this was very worrying. However on ringing, I received excellent service from the Pharmacist on duty at Fosse Park Asda, a on 4th March 2020.

Travelling from London, when my friend's car battery died and we were well into the night, I wouldn't have though Asda sold jump leads. But this Asda was surprisingly well equipped. Jumpleads and other paraphernalia for upkeep of cars were surprisingly well stocked, something I've not seen in London so much. Just wish my local hypermarket was equipped the way this store is. Substantially large store. I don't think there's much missing here...

Experienced a serious incident here on Sunday whilst shopping with my family. Won’t go into detail as the police are involved, I would like to thank the staff for the way they dealt with it especially the security who couldn’t do enough for us, even as I was speaking to them at the entrance they were interrupted by shoplifters who were trying to steal with trollies full of goods! Never seen anything like it. Otherwise, selection was not as good as usual although this can be expected with the amount of customers. Asda please look after your staff who do a thankless job having to deal with lunatics on a daily basis so close to Christmas.

Lovely food in the cafe but I was quite disappointed when they gave us paper plates and plastic knives and forks!!! Not very practical for jacket potatoes. Not very environmentally conscious either. Like I said though, the food itself was lovely.
