Great experience today, my wife and l bought some brilliant bits and pieces at super prices. The guys and girls running the place were exceptional, both friendly and helpful, we cannot fault them and in fact thank them for the voluntary work they do on behalf of charities. Thanks especially to Tony for his help and assistance in finding us some bits and giving us very fair prices. Gilly is now busy in the garden transforming chairs into pot holders etc, better than the filing cabinet????. Thanks once again to all, and yes we highly recommend anyone looking for some bits and bobs or even bigger stuff to use at home or, as we are doing rejig it into a totally different use, it's great fun. Wide range of second hand goods, delivery and great staff. Even lent us an umbrella as it was raining cats and dogs.

Terrible experience here. I wanted to volunteer here and enquired about a position, I was told to come in and speak to a certain member of staff about it, which I did. When I arrived at the place, the lady at reception was incredibly unhelpful, when I asked about the member of staff I wanted to speak to. I got directed to go to the back to find this member of staff, and I could not find them. I returned to reception where she had sat behind a computer, and a different gentleman served me. I kept asking if this member was at the back definitely and they didn't seem to understand what I was asking. No-one had the common decency to walk me to the staff member, even after five minutes of pointlessly wandering around. Staff members didn't mind gawking whilst I did this, but didn't exactly rush to help. Wouldn't recommend this place at all, the etiquette and general service of the staff/volunteers is shocking, and I am glad I did not volunteer here. Other establishments are much more grateful for this type of service.

Smells, highly expensive for poor quality goods. Try British Heart Foundation on Loughborough High Street, better prices and better quality, cleaner second hand goods

Lovely charity place with plenty of new and used furniture items. 3 gigantic floors of items to look through. We managed to find a great deal on a new chest freezer and were happier to spend the money here than at a larger branded store.

Staff here are very kind, incredible amounts of furniture to fit any budget. Some excellent pieces for good prices, keep your carbon footprint low and buy used or refurbished here and help a good cause at the same time.

I visited sofa on the recommendation of a family member that had recently completely kitted out her new home with furniture for less than £500. Sofa is cavernous and packed full of second hand furniture that is of a good quality. Don't forget to check upstairs! I missed it on my first visit and was initially disappointed as the selection downstairs seemed limited. Once I made my way upstairs though there was a massive selection of cabinets, cupboards, mattresses, sofa's, bed frames, appliances, dining sets and more. Sofa offers a pick up and delivery service and the staff are friendly. I recommend having a good look through before spending a fortune on something new! With the size of the place and the quick turnover of stock you may just find exactly what you're looking for for a very discounted price.

Great selection of all sorts of second hand furniture for good prices. Explore all the floors to find the best buys. There is new stock too, mattresses and white goods. Layout can get a bit confusing but staff are helpful and always around.

Great potential for renovators here... Shame it's 100 miles away from where I live! They could improve the customer journey through the warehouse though.

An old factory with a variety of old furniture. Film producers would have a field day for 60's and 70's film sets.

Lots of stuff. I think overpriced though especially when people are selling better quality stuff on gumtree and shpock for less. Fridges and cookers very overpriced when you can buy new from Argos for same price. Charity shops need to stop competing with normal everyday shops, that's why they are not doing as good as they used to!

No one knows what they are doing. Was told they would take everything I asked them to take. Yet when they turned up they wouldn’t take anything. All furniture was almost new and had very little wear. Don’t say you will take it all then change your mind at the last minute. Total waste of my time
