Went down hill since NCP took over. They got rid of 24/7 security staff at the car park office AND now they leave the big black gates open so that ANYBODY can get in. Maybe they improved convenience slightly at the cost of a lot of break-ins. Everything has been stolen from car wheels to bicycles which are stored in the bicycle facility. I will be moving to another more secure car facility. AVOID!

No longer a safe car park due to the change in payment system. Noticed 2 cars had had their windows smashed! There are no exit barriers, and no security system. Such a shame as used this many times for GOSH.

Booked online - smooth, easy. Very reasonable rates. Entry + exit automatic NPR. Very secure.

The only good thing about this car park is the location and the price for parking in London which is very reasonable. However what is not mentioned is the lack of disabled facilities and the misleading lift which still leaves you with 24 steps to negotiate to get to the street. As a blue badge holder I struggled to get to the street with my suitcase. I would have much preferred the honesty about their facilities so I could choose what suited my needs.

A very conveniently located car park in close proximity to the British History Museum. Secure, easy to access and brilliant to have a day around central London. I used an app called JustPark to book and pay, it was seem-less the whole process. The Car Park is actually underground to be exact its under Bloomsbury Square Park, there are stairs and lifts to enter and exit. Seems to be secure and safe, was well lit I could see their were CCTVs in-operation. Will be recommending this place.

Reasonably priced parking, easy to get to, and the parking spaces were wide enough. It is underground though, so don't expect a mobile phone signal. There is a single lift which takes you most of the way to surface, but there's a swing gate, a couple of swing doors and three sets of stairs from car park floor 1 (just below the park/square), to the surface. So it doesn't appear to be accessibility friendly.

Very good secure car park. Bit tight on entry and exit for larger car (Audi Q7), but still manageable. Make sure you close secure gate when leaving car park on foot.

Safe affordable parking in London. I use this regularly! However there is an issue with the Secure Park touchscreen machines rarely working properly. More often than not, this means that one has to call the NCP parking office after hours to let you exit the car park, however this rarely takes more than 5 mins when leaving late at night.

Recent visit to Secure Parking Bloomsbury Square, prices are great for central London but on this 3 day visit the lifts were not working at any time, I pressed the intercom button to ask if there were any other lifts but told I'd have to use the stairs or walk up the ramp I drove down, I am disabled and have a child and you still have to walk up 4 flights of stairs even doing this. On my return to leave I met a representative from the car park who was very helpful which is why you it is 3 stars and not less. EDIT: Interesting in your reposnse you make no mention of your lifts being out of order for days!

Booked online, then attempted to enter at one of the two barriers and it wouldn't accept my entry code. Had to reverse out (as nobody would answer the 'help' button) and try at the other barrier which did work. On exiting, one barrier screen was dead and the other wasn't accepting anyone's codes. Took me half an hour and a phone call to get out. Also damaged my tyre on the way out where a bollard had been removed, but a piece of jagged black plastic was left sticking out of the ground (by the right hand exit barrier). All in all, a very expensive, bad experience! To add insult to injury, I received an email the next day stating that my car was still in the car park and additional charges will apply. AVOID!!

Good parking with easy access to central London. Area felt safe and car well protected. I made the mistake having paid online of getting a ticket at the barrier when I should have entered a pin code I was given during my online purchase. There is a separate panel at the barrier for this. I should have read the online instructions better but suspect this isn't that rare an event. It is possible to be charged additionally if you get this wrong. I checked in again with my pin (on foot????) and then checked out in the correct way at the end of the visit. Good price for a decent car park.

Very convenient and secure underground parking. It's easy to find because it's in a square. Unlike those parkings with entrances in small or major roads where you can miss them, this one is located in Bloomsbury Square. The square is a large green area, so you can't miss it really. So if you are nervous to drive in London, I would say this parking is well located. Once you find the square, there is an entrance ramp on the side. The nearest major attraction is the British Museum at 3 minutes walk. If you are going to Great Queen Street, it's only 5 min walk. Even if there is another parking closer to Great Queen Street, I prefer this one as it's much easier to find with a satnav. To enter or exit you need a code. Be careful when you type the code, you may inadvertently enter the wrong number and believe you have the wrong code. It happened to me twice. The reason is that you type in a touchscreen pad and if your finger is not really well in the center of the number, it may get you the wrong number. I think it something they need to look at. But once you know, it's fine and it works. There are plenty of spaces. You drive down a sort of gigantic corkscrew with places on both sides. Then, when you are at the bottom after a few revolutions, you go upward in another corkscrew with more places. So don't try to squeeze you car in the first tiny spot you see, there are much more further. Support provided during and after the booking was excellent. I dropped an email to their support and within an hour, Maureen came back to me with polite answer to my query. The parking is very secure. Nobody can enter without the proper code. It's not just matter of barriers but there is also a metallic door that opens only if the correct code is entered. Don't forget your code. Keep it safe on a paper and on your phone. I recommend booking online because it's cheaper.

Great car park! Lots of spaces and felt secure. Super easy to park too if you’re worried about small spaces. They should match the £10 weekend parking that NCP does though!

Not sure how to give star rating on this as we booked and paid for a secure spot, easy enough, getting in and out of the car park good. It is just now we have been fined for not paying the ULEZ which as an extra customer service they could have warned us, being from out of town and not used to the zone. Reply to reply. Thanks for the reply. I do know that the responsibility for the driving belongs to me but as an extra service would it be possible to put a note on the parking receipt to say you are in these zones?

Excellent secure parking in central London - we used it to visit the Rouleur Classic show at Victoria house which is literally next to the parking. Very good value, easy to find and access and felt very secure. Would recommend and use again.

Very secure gate system. I was comfortable leaving my car here until 10pm with none of the worries associated with the nearby NCP car parks. You do have to book online in advance, but it’s very simple. Parking prices here are also excellent for such a central location.

Fantastic parking facility in a great location. Really well lit, felt extremely safe and secure access was very easy. Had no problems whatsoever parking a larger car (Land Rover Discovery 3). Will definitely use this car park again.

Large underground car park, with plenty of space, the parking spaces are also naturally wide also as the car park is essentially a spiral with cars parking around the internal and external ring as it descends deep enough to find the dwarf treasure from a Lord of the rings film. It's a very safe feeling car park, there is 24 hour security, barriers to get through etc so on have no worry leaving my car here as I do a lot of the time. There are also some very rare and expensive cars happily parked here which speaks for the safety of the car park, as I have never seen them damaged and the owners are happy to park them here long term.

My wife is in a wheelchair, and the staff went out of their way to make sure she was looked after, even though there was a problem with the lifts. They were really friendly and gave us their number so that when we returned for our car they would meet us outside to help us get back to it.

Book in advance and get a good rate for this well located car park for the Covent Garden area of London. Access easy, seemed very secure and the parking was very easy with none of the usual pillars to avoid due to an unusual spiral design of the car park. Will definitely use this one again.

Very secure, easy to find, lots of space and central. HOWEVER if you book online make sure you turn up exactly at the time specified or after... not BEFORE or else they make you pay twice regardless if you've not stayed your allotted time. I was told to reverse back down a one way system against a car behind me because I entered at 21.00 instead of 22.00 and only stayed for 13 hours not 24. Should make it clearer when you're booking.

Interesting car park with an unusual design, below Bloomsbury Square Gardens. Always lots of spaces and easy to park then walk out as there are lifts from various levels of the car park. Very handy central London car park... however sometimes it does smell of pee!

Reply to response from owner (see original review below). T&Cs (capitalisation added) state that: "5.3 A Reservation is only valid for the particular times, date, product, price and Car Park set out in the reservation confirmation. If you have a Reservation with specified entry and exit times: a) If you enter before or AFTER specified booking ENTRY times or within 15 minutes of your booking transaction, your PIN will not work and you will be required to pay for standard rates if you park at the Car Park. b) If you exit BEFORE or after specified booking EXIT times, your PIN will allow exit and your nominated credit card will be debited the difference between the combined Reservation Fee and Parking Fee, and the maximum Secure-a-Spot Casual Hourly Rates." Original review: Opaque T & Cs which read as if written by a con-artist and have been deliberately designed to catch out the unwary, so read them VERY CAREFULLY – in particular sections 5.3 and 7.1 to 7.4. These refer to being charged at "maximum Secure-a-Spot casual hourly rates" (not listed) if entering/leaving "before or after" specified booking entry/exit times. Whether you are expected to arrive and depart EXACTLY at the times you enter when making a booking is unclear. If not, then youʼll only find out how much time is allowed either way once a reservation has been made, but in the event that you discover the system isnʼt quit as flexible as youʼd like and the booking has been made less than 24 hours before the entry time, the fee paid is nevertheless non-refundable. Note the issue here is that in theory, by agreeing to the T & Cs, you could be charged extra for staying LESS time in the car park than you expected as well as more!! Found alternative secure, pre-bookable parking nearby with a national operator at roughly the same price.

The only place I will use for parking in central London! Probably cheapest and can accommodate 1.8 metres high vehicle! Just careful about entering and exiting the car park! Specially when entering take the left entrance rather then the right! I have kerb 2 wheels in the same corner! Same for exiting use the left instead of right! When exiting remember the floor and YELLOW or BLUE area. Not to worried if you return to another entrance just go back to the closest floor same colour area and walk down or up in the car park!
