Parking here is no cheap, but the hole place smells like a dirty toilet, and you can see the urine floating in the corners.
I suggest you jet wash the hole place down, it's a health and safety issues!!
No security or CCTV then why are we paying for parking, company's are very quick to take your money, but when there is an issue, nothings done.

Countless cars broken into by vagrants who reside in the northern stairwell. One literally has a bed up there and there is a car with someone sleeping inside it.
The Stairwells are littered with stolen items after bags have been rummaged through.
The place is a joke. AVOID!

I wouldn't recommend parking here. Just look at the photo of my car. No CCTV on any of the levels so theives wait for you to leave through the automatic doors and run in. There wasn't anything worth taking in my car but I had to pay to replace 2 windows!!! It's not the car parks fault theives are about and operate in that area but seriously it's that bad around there why can't they put people's mind at ease by installing CCTV on every level!!???

I was pretty worried about parking here after reading all the reviews. I must have been really lucky as I would a good spot very close to the entrance that seemed pretty safe.
I can confirm it does smell of urine, has homeless people hanging around and the car parked next to mine had a sign starting that no valuables were left inside. I've only even seen that on vans before so would really think twice about using this NCP again.

Parked here on Sunday evening, returned to find rear car windscreen had been smashed. Apparently this is considered an unsafe car park by people in the know. Naturally I won't be parking here again and can not recommend to others, shame as it's a great location.

Absolutely awful, left car just before 7pm to go to the theatre above to see school of rock, arrived back at car after show to find the rear screen smashed and items stolen or chucked on floor next to car, looks like we weren’t the only ones this happened to either (2/01/2020)
No attendants and when you call for help operator informs me this happens all the time!
Ruined what should of been a magical day for my family!
Have to give 1 star to post, certainly doesn’t warrant any!

We parked our car here for a few hours. Came back to find it has been smashed into and our belongings had been taken. This is NOT a secure car park and the owners know there is a major problem with security but have done nothing about it. There have been repeated break ins for several years and the staff are so used to it they even knew where to find our unwanted dumped items!

Do not park here. Zero security. You're better off leaving your car on the yellow lines outside after 18.30. At least there are people about. Twice used NCP in London in 10 months. Twice the car has been broken into. NCP does not care, hiding behind it's t's and c's.Dreadful.

Covent Garden ‘secure’ car park!?
Had my car broken into. The member of staff said he heard the alarm go off. The car was 15/20 seconds away from him.
Yet, they had time to smash my rear window, twice, take out my holdhall, check the contents and decide what they wanted to take.
They took a tag off the bag which had my initials on and left the items they didn’t want neatly piled under the car.
No way could they have done all of that in 20 seconds!!!
No cctv. This has to be be organised.

Please be aware (as NCP have only placed a sign inside the shutters informing you there is no wheelchair access by which time it is too late!!!) that there have been shutters installed at this car park. The only way to leave is by a lift to the first floor of the car park and then down a staircase... completely inaccessible for wheelchair users.
We then became ‘trapped’ in the car park, no help whatsoever from the help button so we were left with no alternative than to pay the charge of £14 for up to an hour, just to drive in and then back out of this car park. Outrageous!! How many other people have been forced to pay this due to signs being obscured and sited once you have entered the car park. NCP shame on you!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID!!!
The car park is a paradise for thieves with homeless sleeping on the bottom ground who could be the culprits. From what I saw and heard it happened daily/nightly! NCP has the WORST customer service who are just rude and quote ‘your vehicle is left at your risk’ I wouldn’t usually write a bad review but I would hate for this to happen to you too! I am now £46 parking fee down and insurance costs to replace my rear window and excessive £’s to replace goods stolen!
This needs to be sorted NCP just do not care

Really poor!!!! BE AWARE , arrived and a lady had her car boot broken into ... all they took was clothes ... she seemed distressed. I had to place a sign on the back of our car saying "please do not rob this car , you have been reported to the police . Car is registered to mobile device. We then couldn't relax on our evening out. When I called assistance they said "you park at your own risk". Disgraceful and could of potentially ruined our evening. SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!! WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS CAR PARK A 1 STAR , IT DESERVES A MINUS -10 DO NOT PARK HERE !!!

Stolen - ALL should avoid this car park left to see theatre at 2:30pm came back at 6:30pm only to find rear window smashed stolen baggage from the car and also car was vandalised and smashed door too.
NCP should act to tighten security or close down.
Only realised not to use this car park after reading the review.

PLEASE READ!!!!..
Please please do NOT park here. I came to London with my fiancee for a few hours and used the convent garden car park. We literally left it for 3 hrs and on returning our back windscreen was smashed and everything we had was taken. We are getting married in a few months and all of the wedding bits we got that day was also taken.
They advertise that the car park is "secure" which it is not, you think paying £25 and having a gated entrance would maybe give you a piece of mind but how wrong was i, its crazy but you cant even get in the car park on foot without your printed ticket.
I honestly lost so much that day and the operator on the intercom was not helpful at all, something really isn't right there.
I hope someone reads this and saves themselves the heartache by parking somewhere else.

This car park needs to be shut down.
Thieves operate here and the car park are unwilling to improve facilities or reimburse damage T&Cs etc etc. Alarms on security doors do not work, cctv is only in place on the ticketing machines.
NCP have admitted to being aware of this long running issue and blame customers for having valuables in their cars (encouraging this behaviour) and that THEIR CAR PARK IS INSECURE!!!
This is clearly a well known issue as on site staff are very well aware.
If you want to park your car, park it on the street. It will be safer and cost less.
They expect you to trawl through their website to be aware of their T&Cs before parking.

Saturday night returned from a show to get a lift home from our friend. To find the back window of his car smashed and goods gone. 3 other cars had been smashed into as well. It's NOT secure at all, fire exit doors were NOT alarmed and the security man on his own all night was unable to do anything and said it happens all the time!! Useless. No cctv there was no help at all. This is a perfect place for thieves to steal and it happens regularly. Sadly we found out when it was too late. So it's a big risk parking here. We will never use NCP ever again.

Extremely poor, changed policy so you now must be out no later than your paid time. I had booked until 6pm and was exiting at 5:45pm only to be stuck behind a cue of cars. By the time I eventually got to the front it was 6:03pm and low and behold would no longer accept my ticket. The issue Was made worse that there is only one exit gate on an extremely steep slope and since I could not get out this caused a row of cars to develop behind me. So I decided to pay the extra bill only to find that the card reader was not working!!! Well then, let’s call the office!? Nope, no one there. So I had to get out of my car, run to the lifts, take the lifts up to ground level to use another ticket machine and then dart back to my car to get out. By this time I am absolutely certain that anyone waiting behind me who had planned to exit before 6pm would have to go through exactly the same thing.
Be absolutely warned, if you want a smooth ride into central London do NOT use this car park.
Summary,
1- only one gate so you’re screwed if the car in front has trouble
2- exit on an extremely steep slop, so make sure you’re a pro at hill starts for anyone using a manual
3- zero flexibility in exiting later than your pre booked time. Even if it’s not your fault, ie stuck behind another car when trying to exit the only gate
4- NO ONE AT RECEPTION! No one manning the car park! No one to assist at the coms!!! So can only assume NO Security!!!
5- Payment card reader at the exit gate does not work for anyone unfairly charged as a result of not being able to get out of the car park on time!!!!
Avoid at all cost.

Back window smashed in and expensive Items stolen, note left on car with incident number! Who from not sure ! While on phone walked around car park to see if any of my belonging where there while my wife was on the phone to the police homeless people sleeping on bottom floor! Security guard refused to let me out until I paid 45 pound, told me to contact customer service for CCTV! Must have been watch coming in and out so they know how much time they have

Only park if you want to make an insurance claim.
Parked for 15 minutes, car was broken into.
Security shutters which are supposed to only let you in with a ticket are broken, so anyone can walk in.
Single security guard covers multiple car parks, so even if you do find him he won't have seen anything.
This car park is nothing but somewhere for thieves to sit in the dry and wait for their next victim, whilst NCP steal your money by charging you for their sub-standard service.

Parked there on the 21/10/2019 to come back to find the back window smashed and contents of the boot removed. No attendant to speak to when it happened and when I rang NCP they were quite dismissive. To add insult to injury i then had to pay £46 due to having to wait to get the car sorted before i could drive out. Disappointing and wish i had seen the reviews on here earlier!

Paid £40 for 3 hours parking, came back to a smashed window and a laptop stolen. As someone not from London I was expecting a secure car park. Pissed off to find out there's no cameras underground, so nothing can be done to punish the thieves.
Only good thing was the guy on shift helping us out with dealing with police, and cleaning the glass out of my car.
You'd think that the amount of times this has happened something would be done...
Annoyed to think I'm out of pocket and won't get any compensation for the damage or the parking price.

Had car broken into on level B. Brick thorough the window and a guy round the corner on the same level had his car done as well. Local told me it was a nightly occurrence in that car park.
Parking car on the road would have been safer.

Awful, awful, awful. First THREE floors are reserved so first public parking is 3 floors down...with elevators that do not work. Had to lug luggage up 3 flight of steps. Attendant entirely dismissive and unhelpful. NCP helpline unreachable. Expensive. Smells of human excrement of all kinds. Avoid.

This is the worst car park in London. Parked on a Sunday for less then 4hr. Charged 40£ and came back to a smashed window and all our stuff gone. Staff are useless and unwilling to help. CCTV either doesn’t work or can’t be accessed. Customer ‘support’ are unwilling to give any compensation, not even to refund the parking, so are as bad as the thieves. Awful. Won’t be parking in this or any NCP again. They are meant to be ‘secure car parks’, but instead unsafe facilities who allow vandalism, thief and extortion happen under nonsense T&Cs. You have been warned.
