The best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in. Excellent service and attentive staff!

We indulged on the chef's taster menu. Which gives us the chance to sample nearly all of the items the main menu had to offer. Which was astounding. The service was very good. The decor, furnishings and the subtle lighting, created a nice and very pleasant atmosphere to dine in. I thoroughly recommend this place and would return.

Amazing taste of South Indian foods. From appalam to Payasam. Definitely a place to take your friends for good south Indian cuisine

What do you say about a place that at once feels warm yet luxurious! The food was amazing. The non-veg sampler starter with prawns, lamb and chicken was delicious and when served with a malabar paratha was just enough to whip up and satiate my appetite post a long flight. Chef Stiram is an icon and the Michelin Star is well deserved.

Service was great.. Food... In my opinion, was just okay .. Nothing spectacular.. I've had better and that could be my particular palet speaking but my other 3 guests felt the same way. Service does get 5 stars though!

Had the tasting menu with accompanying beers and everything was of a very high standard, as you'd expect of a Michelin star restaurant. Different to any other tasting menu I've tried due to all the food being Indian cuisine, but couldn't fault it at all, with some exceptional flavour combinations and sensible portion sizes. Enjoyed our semi circle table as it allowed us to sit next to each other, rather than across from each other. Restaurant had a decent buzz without being too noisy. Staff were very friendly, though at times you could hear them giving each other instructions, which took away slightly from the experience. Well worth a try if you like Indian food, beer and a tasting menu. And who wouldn't like those.

Lovely food! The crispy chaat has to be my favourite, but the chana is nice too. Service is great all round but Steven made us feel extra special

Excellent food, although different from my expectations. Quilon does not offer as many curries as I am used to and doesn't serve nan. That said the dishes were well prepared and flavorful. Next time I would like to try one of the set menus.

That was a joke. We came there for my birthday dinner and they ruined everything ! We made a booking at 9.30. The last booking possibility was at 10. We even arrived something like 5 min before. As soon as we seated in our table the waiter came to take the order. We even didnt have time to open the wine list.. so i told him we need some time (i shouldnt have to say it...anyway). He told me if we want to take the 5 courses menu we have 5 min to order it (the only menu they have then it is a la carte menu). He came back 5min after to take the order. So of course we wanted the menu. We also ordered an expensive bottle of Champagne. He directly said we can no more order the menu even if we respected the delay. So i said i want this menu that's it. (It is still a 95 pounds menu). He said no its too late. So I insisted to have it (i mean we made a booking demande they were offering this hour so if they cannot manage it write it or make the last booking at 9 pm). Then he said ok u can order it but u will have 1 hour to eat it. So u explained its not McDonald so I wont stay in this place. Thats a scandal for me !!!! And it is a Michelin star restaurant ? Unbelievable. The manager tried to keep us in the restaurant offering us to take all the time we need (so it was possible at the end). But it was too late they ruined everything.

The food was good but the service was terrible and it doesn't deserve a Michelin star. Cocktails are extremely over-priced as is the rest of their food. For God's sake... If I'm paying 17 pounds for a martini, I'd expect grey goose or ciroc... Not bloody Smirnoff. It took forvever to get a bottle of wine and water. We had to ask multiple times for things. Over paying for food is ok as long as the service is phenomenal... Unfortunately, we left feeling robbed.

Fantastic. Took the waiters suggestion and allowed them to prepare a combination of appetizers and main courses for the three of us after him asking what kind of foods we liked. Perfect selection and variation. Fairly pricey but worth every penny. Top notch service as well, a very classy experience.

They have excellent service and great good. I had the unusual spicy venison with tomato rice. It had slow heat that built up over time. They do have a nice beer menu.

Extremely Disappointing I had thought that a Michelin star was a reliable stamp of quality, but the food at Quilon was bland and uninspiring. I have had tastier Indian meals in London at: Benares (££££) Dishoom (££) Ganapati (££) Many places in Wembley (£) For starters we had the cauliflower (bland, not very crispy), the Southern saat (nice but not particularly), and two helpings of the crab cakes (a bit wet and doughy, bland, not crispy, miniscule). The mini poppadoms were a bit bland, and the chutneys fine, nothing special, though they did help combat the blandness of everything else. For mains we had two successes: black cod and lemon sole, which were both perfectly cooked and delicately flavoured; and two disappointments: chicken manglorean (bland, not particularly tender), and mango curry (bland). The lemon rice was also uninteresting, and the egg paratha was, frankly, a joke: dense, no elasticity or crispness, not well seasoned. Parathas should be a thing of joy, as should all food. For desert, three of us didn't need to taste any more, and one of us tried the Delicious Variants dish, which was a selection of jaggery blobs with some banana ice cream. They were fine. We did have some very nice cocktails (and one very nice mocktail), but at £17 a pop, they just weren't worth it. South indian food should be a dramatic mix of spices, rich, slow-cooked or smokey, charred meat and fresh, zingy citrus, ginger and chilli. It should be surprising and comforting and mind-blowingly delicious. This was none of those things. The service was okay and the restaurant itself was a bit like a fancy airport lounge. We very rarely eat at fine dining restaurants. This was meant to be a treat - a wedding present for friends. We spent £300 on a meal for four people. I would have been disappointed if we'd spent half that.

Came for a business meal but can't say I was overly impressed with what came out of the kitchen, especially when considering it was £70/head. The staff are lovely but having eaten at other high end Asian restaurants, although admittedly not on a regular basis, I found the flavours and presentation somehow didn't match the expectation. Then again there were many Asian clientele, who I can only presume wouldn't eat there if it wasn't good, so maybe it's a cultural palette thing. Unlike the other people at the table I did enjoy the pistachio kulfi and tried to appreciate the cube of saffron cheesecake. This review is utterly subjective so I can only suggest you go and experience it for yourself because you might think it wonderful.

One of the finest indian restaurants in London, easily one of the best. They serve a distinct cuisine from the south west part of India. Every item I've ever tried here is fabulous. Excellent service and ambience as well.

Impeccable decor and ambience. Courteous, knowledgeable and attentive staff. A good wine menu. Allowed the waiter to choose and order for us. And the results were perfect for everything - starters, main course as well as desserts. The selections allowed us to indulge in a variety of signature dishes. Pricey but it’s worth it. Was nearly full on a cold weekday night as well, so reservations is well advised.

Would give this a 3.5 if I could. Service was really nice and they gave us extra curry off menu which was lovely. The food was good but maybe a bit too "fancy" that I felt the Indian tastes were left a bit duller than I would have liked. The naan/roti was great though! Ambience nice and a nice lunch overall.

Wonderful experience overall. Went there for the second time recently on a Friday evening. Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Delicious food! The spices and the regional flavours were just amazing! Not your regular 'indian'. Definitely worth trying their seafood tasting menu. Well worth the price. Looking forward to my next visit!

Don't expect to order your normal Indian dishes because they probably won't have them. It's authentic south-west coastal Indian food. What you SHOULD expect is to have the best meal you'll have in London. Many delicious options, including a full vegetarian menu available on request. Staff were very friendly and happy to help us figure out what was the right combination of dishes to order. Spice lovers will be especially happy!

6 stars ! Lovely staff , very helpful and caring. Restaurant looks amazing inside , great atmosphere. And the most important - cuisine , I'm not a fan of Indian food, but this place showed me how tasty and delicious it can be! Prawns and chicken in coconut sauce was the best! Prices are also very reasonable , highly recommend !

Only average food and service, obviously over priced due to the location. My local Indian takeaway costs 1/4 of the price taste the same and would argue some dishes would be better than Quilon. I will never go back again...

We were there yesterday. The starter (vegetable saat) was very nice and so were the cocktails (albeit somewhat overpriced at £14 a cocktail ). The service was also very good. Mains, stuffed quail and fish curry, were a bit of an issue. The stuffing of the quail was quite chewy but the biggest problem was the fish curry. The fish was incredibly dry!! It felt almost like sand in my mouth. The curry sauce itself was quite bland and tasted like nothing more than tomatoes and coconut milk. I’m sorry but we won’t be going back....

Good ambience, very friendly staff and be assured that you will be looked after. Although menu looked fixed, staff were more than happy to customise. No specific kid menu was there but staff quickly made a custom fit menu for the little one. Tried taster option which comes with all the items in the menu with starters and desert. Slightly pricier but taste of food was good, authentic and must quote that it was well presented. Desert was quite innovative one too.
