What a lovely place! A bit hard to find at first because the outside of the establishment gets lost in an office-looking like building and the front entrance is dark and no one was there when we arrive making us think we entered the wrong place or it was closed. Other than that, the entire dining experience from first to last bite was excellently delicious. A perfect first meal to kick off a UK trip :)

Get ready for a great meal in a beautiful setting. We took the tasting menu, although pricey, it’s worth every penny since you get to try a lot of things are their menu. The food is very authentic, served beautiful and really tasty. Service is spectacular with attention to every little detail.

Great good. Attentive staff. Lacked a little atmosphere but possibly due to being a little quiet (presumably due to covid restriction the number of covers). Highly recommend.

The food were great but wish the presentation was neater. The staff were friendly but still very good with social distancing.

Booked a table for 8:45, arrived at 8:40 and were told it would be 10-15 minutes. So we sat in the bar and had a drink and quickly realised that they had massively over booked and had no idea what was going on. Others had been waiting an hour already! We were finally seated at 10pm - 1 hour and 15 minutes after our booking time. We decided to order the tasting menu and were told it would take around 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete once the first course was served. First course came at 10:30pm and by midnight we gave up and asked them to pack up the final 2 courses. Food was average at best, certainly not worthy of a Michelin Star. A few courses were nice, but basics like the bread basket were served luke warm. To top it all off, when the bill came there was no apology and we had to bring the issue up just for them to even acknowledge it. By far the worst restaurant experience we've had, I would definitely not recommend this place.

Food was bland and not seasoned. Wouldn't recommend to any one best part of the meal was the beers!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would.

If your a vegetarian avoid this place. Food came out lukewarm and the flavour was lacking. Pretty sure the rice was microwaved as it cam out clumpy, not something you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant. The service was poor as well. Wouldn't recommended.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. We made reservations, which I would recommend doing as well. We opted for the fixed menu which had us trying several dishes which we likely would not have otherwise ordered. The food was delicious and I'd recommend anyone who hasn't given Indian food a try to come here. Regular diners of Indian cuisine will also find these meals superb. While the restaurant is on the pricey side, it is a fine dining experience and we were pleased we gave it a try.

Food was not as good as other mechelin star restaurants I have eaten at. We had the Christmas menu. The crab risotto had too much lemon. The waiter offered to get me a fresh one but at a restaurant of this calibre you expect better. The staff were lovely and the setting is beautiful. All the precautions were taken to keep us safe.

Outstanding service, quality food, excellent wine, setting and atmosphere was perfect. If you are looking to begin your journey into Michelin style rated restaurants then this would be a superb restaurant to begin with. Would highly recommend enjoying a drink from the bar. An excellent take on Indian food but with a European style of cooking applied to both food and setting. Simply outstanding.

A lovely experience at this old library site. Food was wonderful, very light portions and the service was excellent. Recommended.

I don't really "get" what they are trying to do here. I was prepared for a fine dining experience and was left feeling like this place is massively over hyped. The staff were not as polished as one would expect. Drinks were served in a wildly inappropriate glass and it took ages to take our order despite having closed menus. The starters were "okay." Nothing groundbreaking like I had expected. Some decent flavours but I wasn't wowed. The mains arrived and it was obvious they were not "fresh" and had been sat under a heat lamp. One bite tried- barely warm. We sent them back and left. Bitterly disappointing.

Unbelievable restaurant. Great food, amazing staff and beautiful surroundings. We held our COVID compliant wedding reception here. It may not have been the day we first planned, but it far exceeded expectations and made for a very special day for us and our families.

Food and service both great. I tried fish curry which is nice. Not spicy as most Indian people would like but still good enough. And sticky toffee pudding is definitely a winner.

Absolutely exquisite, fine dining Indian meal in a remarkable setting. Vivek Singh is a master (and a really nice guy - he came to our table and was super friendly and engaging). Highly recommend for a special meal out. Expect high-end twists on classic Indian flavours, using quality ingredients.

Beautiful ambiance and delicious food. Loved the library setting, and especially enjoyed the chicken, the fenugreek scented tandoori cod and the tandoori octopus, as well as the Delhi style butter chicken. :)

A great Indian restaurant where you will have doubt if that is really a restaurant when you arrive at its entrance. In fact it is converted from a library and keep most of the decoration where you finds you are dining in a library. The foods are really great and staff are friendly. The set menu is a good pick if you encounter difficulties in choosing from the menu.

Beautiful setting & atmosphere. The chicken and lamb on the menu are halal. I personally found the food a little too salty, I did send my dish back and was told that it couldn’t be made with less salt, had to order something else. Still found the next dish and sides too salty. Limited range of virgin cocktails, service was OK, have had better at other top end restaurants.

I believe this is a dinning experience that each person to experience in their lifetime at least once. This place is a piece of art the decor takes you back into time. The location is ideal. The best part is the menu is very authentic and cooked to perfection many aromatic spices can be smelt. As the food is brought out. Staff are very friendly and know how to interact with customers.

We have eaten at the cinnamon club on various occasions and have always had a great meal and great service. However, we visited on Monday 24th August. The evening started well as we ordered drinks in the bar while we waited for one more guest. As our last guest arrived we order a drink for her at the same time as the waitress wanted to take us to our table. The waitress said the drinks would be taken to our table, they weren’t so we took our. She then walked off leaving us in the reception. We were taken to our table by the receptionist. We were taken to the room at the back which was fine, to say the service was slow was an understatement. We had to remind staff about the drink we had ordered for guest twice. We eventually ordered our meal from the set menu as it looked very nice. However the food was disappointing because it was not very warm. It took staff a very long time to clear away dirty dishes. It was our son and his partner’s first visit and our son didn’t feel it was of Michelin level. My husband and I were disappointed as were really looking forward to eating there again. Our son had eaten at the cinnamon kitchen and was really looking forward to eating at the club.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. We chose the Lazy Sunday menu which included a champagne cocktail. It was wonderfully presented, flavours out of this world & great value. Live jazz music was a treat too. Highly recommend.

The four stars is for the food. Wine was superb! Delightful! Delicious. Indian food with a modern twist. Always good to try something different. Service was poor or more so below average, bit slow and jumbled. Dishes arriving at different times. For that price I expect a white glove service. Three starters arrived 10 mins after others. Placed the starter in front of the persons face rather than gently placing the food on the table. Just odd. Super hot in temperature in the dining room upstairs and didn't switch the AC on when asked. Made the evening very uncomfortable, it was useless brings bottles and bottles of water. All in all food was nice and we were a party of 10-12 they could have given us a larger table. Would I go there again? Very unlikely.

Wonderful ambiance of this library-turned-restaurant will make your food taste fancy. And it is fancy. We went vegetarian this time around and we’re fully satisfied. Both the mushroom and the banana chili dishes were balanced and comforting yet exciting. Fried okra and a selection of naans and chutneys (not pictured) rounded up the delicious meal. Will visit again soon.

Fancy and soooo noisy! Starter was aubergine served in a special way , and lamb. Both of them were great! Specially the lamb was really surprising. Main food was again lamb plus rice and butter chicken. Lamb was again fantastic, and chicken was OK. Price is according to a Michelin restaurant.

We had a 24-hour layover in London and made reservations here for dinner. It was excellent, both the both and the atmosphere. The service was great. The drinks were on point. We had tandoori lobster to start which was amazing. We also had chicken masala and naan. The food was great. The restaurant was an old library which was really cool. If I’m back in London I’ll be eating there again.

Top rate restaurant. Food is superb (the octopus some of the best I've ever had) and the service is a perfect mix of professionalism and understatement. The venue is gorgeous, great if you want to impress that special someone in your life.

Ambience and service are top notch. Food is inventive and they don't shy away from flavor/spices to tone down to appease a wider audience, but the food is not spicy/hot. Our experience with starters (lamb, cod, octopus) and desserts was better than mains/sides (king prawns, lentils, keema). Easy to recommend.

Great restaurant atmosphere and very interesting twist in the classic butter chicken. Definitely ask for the gin tray! Skip the downstairs bar though, it looks very outdated and gives off all the wrong vibes compared to the restaurant

The food was 5 star but the service was very slow. Really great flavours and the food was divine. The bread selection is amazing and compliments the individual dishes. The service was definitely having an off night and it took nearly 3 hours to have three courses. Eat out to help out may have pushed the limit of the service on the night I attended. Usually it's much better service .

Loved loved loved this restaurant. My family and I had Christmas dinner here in 2015. The food was so well done and I must say left me totally stuffed! Which is what you want at Christmas, right?! Anyhow the service again was excellent and old school trolleys were used, which I've always liked choosing a drink or a desert. Amazing way they have been so kind to the old library that was previously there, and loving keep the books on display.

We dined at the Cinnamon Club last week shortly after they reopened after lockdown and I felt compelled to say what a truly lovely evening it was. It was clear that all extra precautions (guest tracking, face shields for staff, excellent hygiene) had been taken yet the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and enjoyable. I was particularly impressed when towards the end of service the Chef discreetly spoke to each table in turn (from a safe distance!) for feedback on their evening and to ask whether there was anything we didn't like or whether there was anything extra we would like to see practiced. The answer from us was that it was spot on and we enjoyed a really special evening. Thank you so much.

This place is amazing, absolutely amazing. My wife and I went there for our 5th wedding anniversary and the service that we received was beyond reproach and the food itself was exquisite. We had the taster menu which seemed to go on forever but not so much that you would feel completely overwhelmed by the quantity. The courses were complementary in nature, well presented and all beautifully cooked. It is not cheap, but then not expensive for what you receive. Remember this is not your local Indian takeaway joint. This is probably also not like what your local Indian takeaway serves (cant be sure because i don't know what your local Indian takeaway is like) but is more a modern twist on Indian food. As a side note they presented us with a signed card from the staff and a slice of cake to help us celebrate our anniversary. I can not rate the service or quality of The Cinnamon Club enough. An excellent meal out in London.

The location in the old Victorian library is pretty spectacular and holds a cozy charm. We went for a menu and although the food was nice it wasn't outstanding. We went for the filled courgette and the butter chicken curry which where flavoursome but not necessarily worth the price tag. The staff was very attentive and quick. Overall the place itself is worth a visit, the food was ok.

They claimed it was a modern indian restaurant but I doubt it. I love the overall ambiance and the interior of the place though. The menu was great, so many choices but the foods and drinks were a bit pricey.

We have been to the Cinnamon Club twice before and the experience was outstanding. My wife, as always, was excited to attend again especially as this was the library that my father law used to bring my wife and brother in law to when they were children. Unfortunately, our experience this time was awful! We arrived on time and the place was bustling. Which was great! We were at our table at 8.45 pm and we were looking at the menu and 5 minutes later the waiter arrived with the wine menu. Another 5 minutes later we were asked by the same gentlemen attending our table if we would like some water. We said yes and he continued walking passed our table attending to the other guests and then brought our water much later. Then he asked us if we would like some wine. We asked for the Chablis and again we saw him attending to all the tables around us; picking up dishes, clearing tables and walking passed us whilst we sat their appearing invisible. We decided to watch and try and get the attention of anyone serving, to no avail. Our server particularly just kept walking passed our table. 25 minutes had passed then I asked him "where was the wine?" and told him that he hadn't still taken our order and that my daughter had still not been asked what she would like to drink. We said that this was disappointing and could we speak to the manager please? He said that he was the manger! He did not listen to our concern, or indeed, even acknowledge it. But cut us off by asking about the wine making us feel unwanted. In fact he did not respond at all. He went to get the wine encouraging us to taste it without hearing us out and not offering a concrete apology. We were really surprised at the treatment we received by the manager. We were shocked to hear him ask if we even wanted to stay and eat there, which is highly dismissive. All he had to say was that it is really busy in here and I'm am really sorry! We would have been happy with that and continued with our evening with understanding, but what we received instead was very poor customer service, which is shocking for such a notable and reputable establishment. Considering my brother in law bought us a substantial voucher to use as he thought we would enjoy going back to revisit childhood memories, we were very disappointed and it really impacted our memories of the place as a whole. At the end of the meal when paying, there were no words said in alleviation. We felt we had a really bad family experience and we will never be back again. Who do you complain to when the manager behaves like this?

1st time in a Michelin star restaurant. Food was beautiful. Had the duck with vindaloo sauce, perfectly cooked med-rare. Sauce full of flavour. My girlfriend had the lamb shank. Last time I had a lamb shank cooked so tender was in arga in India. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for.

Had a really great meal here. We were sat in a quieter air conditioned room just off to the side of the main room. The set meal we had was really tasty and not a bad price either. I would recommend the samosa chaat and sticky ginger toffee pudding. Waitress provided great service and was really friendly (thank you so much LF!)
