I always find car dealerships a little like getting into a cage that will be plunged into the ocean with great white sharks circulating waiting for food!
I can tell you now Alan Day City is certainly not like this! I rocked up late on a Tuesday evening about 15min before close and Emmanuel was so patient and understanding of the situation I ended up leaving an hour after close. Himself and Ashley were absolutely brilliant!
The level of communication throughout the purchase until the car was picked up was brilliant. Emmanuel was assertive and empathetic to the whole situation which was great!
I have and will continue to recommend him to my friends and family for certain.

Great experience with Alan Day! Lenin ordered our volkswagen polo, and we couldn't be happier. Got the car very fast. Lenin was easy to get in contact with and answered any queries we had. He kept us well informed with the process. Overall communication was fantastic! Emmanuel dealt with us when collecting our car. He showed us around the car, answered any questions and made it an easy process. All the staff we dealt with were so lovely, friendly and helpful!

I was sold a car (VW Golf) in March 2018. When I came to replace it, it turned out that the car odometer had been tempered with prior to my purchase. When I bought the car it had 16k on the clock. However, it turned out that it was on some kind of red flag data base as it had a MoT with 22k on the clock on an MoT done 18 months prior to my purchase.
This was also confirmed by the service done by Alan Day themselves.
Even that did not bother me as I thought it may not be their fault. However, when I tried to call them they did not want to know. I called several times and got passed around and eventually they told me it was VW’s problem. So I called VW who then rightly said that they were not the ones that sold the car or service it or MOT’d. All of that was done by Alan Day.
They then called Alan Day themselves and finally got Alan day to take notice. Alan Day then promised them that they will solve this. It’s now been months and I have had to sell by car GBP 1000 below market value because of this. Shame on you Alan Day.

Great service from Ollie. I would highly recommend this branch as the staff are extremely friendly and cater to the type of car that was suitable for me. Ollie was able to be patient with myself and take time to look at which was the best car for me.
Excellent service given and communication was also very good which is what is needed when going to a car dealership.

I had my service managed by Stewart. He was very nice, polite respectful and efficient. He called me regularly to follow up with my service plan as we had difficulty to put it in place. If I could give more than 5 stars I really would. The service and the care provided by the dealership is exemplary. I was dealt with by Lenin Raphael and his care and attention to detail was faultless. All staff from the receptionist to the managers were warm and welcoming, with every situation approached from a can do attitude. I certainly do not have any qualms recommending the dealership.

The service really was faultless, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Stewart was particularly helpful, he took time to answer all my questions and nothing was too much trouble.

I had a test drive and viewed a few vehicles. The treatment i received by Geoff who was my assigned salesman was exemplar. Prepared, dedicated and very kind to answer all the questions i had. Thank you Geoff!
The only note i have is that the test drive had to be on a 20mph area due to the location. Very good to test the car for comfyness with the many irregular surfaces and bumps, but not enough to test the engine on a normal drive. Beside this minor thing, which could probably be easily addressed with another test drive, great experience!
