My experience with D T Brown has been very good. They update you on your orders and you can make an account and track your current orders and history. I have seen others complain about delays, but this has to be expected as plants are sent out at the appropriate times for better success. I have no worries recommending them as a good supplier of a wide range of seeds and plants.

Ordered seeds from DT Brown for the first time after receiving a brochure through the letterbox, and we are very pleased. We ordered online and our parcel arrived just over a week later. It included a free packet of parsnips and free labels, whats not to like. Fingers crossed they all germinate. Will be back again next year for sure. Thank you.

Seeds very good.
Pepper plant covered in green fly eggs, packaging excellent=treated doing well.
Tomato plants x6 still waiting, due yesterday!

I have used DT Brown for the second growing season. The first early covid 2020 seeds came on time. This season first seeds on time. Seed potatoes on time ( they kept me notified throughout ) thank you so much I will use you again Richard Hardy

Not a great experience. This was the first time I used them to have some seeds and plants delivered for an allotment. Seeds delivered no bother, the plants were sent in 3 batches, 2 of these were sent different Fridays one of which arrived on a Saturday the other on a Monday the latter delivery were all summer squash plants and all were dead. The other batch was leeks sent on the Thursday before the bank holiday Friday in May and arrived the Monday and luckily were just about salvageable.
No reply to my questions why they are shipped end of the week and can I have replacements for the dead plants so not using this company again.
Would be 1 star but gave them 2 for operating through COVID.

Placed a £115 order back in March. Finished being delivered in June. Many of the plants arrived dead (dry) or rotten (soggy). Some of them were not even plants (a stem and two cotyledons). All those died within 24 hours of arrival. Reported with photos but never got a reply.
Will not buy again from them. No good quality plants and no good customer care.

3 days after their tracking details showed that my order was still waiting fulfilment I asked when it would be sent. They altered the date and said that it was to meet their strick standards for live plants. My order was for garlick and onion sets so how does waiting improve them? Asked for a refund.

I am always looking for rare seeds. I saw on a video of Charled Dowding Czar runner beans. An old type of bean. I could first not find it in the Netherlands. I found it on the website of D.T. Brown. I also found organic climbing beans Cobra. Both ordered an within two weeks i received the package with a free trial of leek seeds.
Ik ben altijd op zoek naar bijzondere zaden. Ik zag op een video van Charles Dowding pronkbonen van het type Czar. Een oud type boon. Deze kon ik eerst niet vinden in Nederland. Ik vondt het op de website van D.T. Brown. Daar vondt ik ook de biologische stokboon Cobra. Ik heb beide besteld en binnen twee weken ontving ik het pakketje. daar zat ook een testpakje prei zaad bij
