I work for the NHS and wanted to keep fit while I’m not at work and to also use my bike for work.
Alex was lovely really helped me out to obtain my Nhs discount. When I went to pick up the bike it was all set up ready to go. The lads are really helpful in there and friendly. Amazing service and I would defiantly recommend Halfords. Thank you

I had battery tested and went on to replace it with the best they had available. For the sake of 11mm spanner and 10 minutes time saved £15. Only drawback was had to retune the radio. For someone unable to DIY I suppose it's not a lot to pay but for the price of the battery I would have thought it would include the fitting. Cannot fault the staff. They were obliging and efficient. Car park right next to door which is a bonus.

I purchased a car stereo from this store and returned 8 times with it as the power cut out.
I paid for installation and it was sellotaped in- the staff member asked me 'who the hell installed this?'
Staff changed their explanation each time and became very patronising in their 'explanations'. I was not allowed a refund or exchange and was told to get it independently tested as they believed my car was at fault despite never having issues with the 2 systems previously installed. I was also told it happened due to the cold despite it happening all year round.
Good luck if you try to get any real help here. Do not recommend and will not be returning.

Fixed most things that needed servicing apart from my back brake which I was told ‘it cannot be bled because the screw won’t come undone so I need to buy a new brake’ although when I tried to bleed it myself beforehand, the screw came out and in perfectly so now my brake can’t be bled in order to be fixed

I dont really want to leave any stars for my service at Halfords called in to have brake lights fitted the young lad took my keys and said go round the shops be all done when you come back. So returned after about 20mins my keys at the till i said as he done them the lady on till said yes i paid and left .never even checked trusting that they was fixed.Got home asked my son to check they was working he said where is your lights the whole part was in my car minus the screw fittings .Disgusting i say..

The staff were on when I went to choose a dog guard but couldn't give me much buying advice short of offering to fit it for a fiver. It took me five minutes to clip it onto the rear seat headrests - glad I didn't fall for this con. Nowadays I tend to order replacement headlamp bulbs from Amazon as premium brands are cheaper than instore.

On Thursday 8th November 2018, I happened to be traveling to Chillwell Retail Park in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Me and my father went to Pets At Home to exchange a product, which they respectfully did so. In addition to this matter, we also went to M&S for a lovely cappuccino and a hot chocolate with a cinamon swirl bun and we were treated respectfully as well. Whilst passing by, I went into Halfords. Ohhhhh Dear!!!!! In the past, we have purchased many bicycles and scooters etc from them and we were looking at a new bicycle. On all of these occasions, we have tested the bicycles and scooters ON THE TRACK IN THE SHOP. I WONDER WHY THERE IS A TRACK IN THE SHOP!!!!! However, this time, I was told, in a very rude Manner to, I quote, " GET OFF THE BIKE!" Guess where I won't be buying my next bicycle or scooter from, or anything else for that matter!!!!!! Ready... HALFORDS!!!!! Good guess!!!!! PS: there are many other bike shops, for example; DECATHLON and many others!!!!! That's where I'm off to now. Cheerio Halfords, nice whilst the bond lasted, UNTIL YOU BROKE IT!!!!!! ????

By sheer luck I rang halfords and a man answered and said he was just going home. Think he could tell I was stressed as my son had a problem with getting his windows up on his van after having it jet washed and also had to drive to France that evening. The guy told me to call Attenborough autos and ask for Busker! He was more than helpful. We was amazed that he was willing to fix his van whilst my son went home to get ready for the long journey. This guy is absolutely brilliant, didn't charge the earth, saved us alot of stress.....we'll be definitely using his services again.....can't rate this guy highly enough. So thanks busker....your a top top guy , not many people like you around!!!
