The BEST tool shop for bespoke trade, woodworkers and much more. Incredibly interesting and top quality tools at great prices. One of London’s true gems!

Tyzack sent out an expensive, fragile Japanese saw loose in a jiffy bag. It arrived bent, which is totally unacceptable. Very poor, careless packaging.

An excellent place to go. A small shop well stocked with weekend woodworkers tools and things. I would have liked to look around but its too small for that. Its best if you know what you want,

I took 2 Wusthof knives here for sharpening and the came back damaged blades. Both had a concave curve near the hilt, weren't anywhere near sharp, completely wrong angles and had a visibly poor finish. I suspect they're more accustomed to sharpening tools. If you care about your knives do not take them here

Hands down the best woodworking hand tool store in London. Extensive and very well curated selection of hand tools, primarily geared towards woodworkers who are looking for high quality, such as Veritas. Prices are better than any online competitor I found. Also, it's a family run business with friendly service. The only things to be aware of prior to visiting their physical store is that the store is not meant for browsing since it is mostly cordoned off. Also, they have very short opening hours. Their website is truly excellent, though, and I thus recommend purchasing online. Delivery fees are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended and it's wonderful that despite the pressure towards moving online, they still maintain a high street presence. Well done.

Wow! Amazing shop. They sold everything I needed for furniture in my new house such as screws and blades and machines. They are a family buisness and also sell Taiwan tools! Posting amazing! And also have a live chat. It is understandle their shop is slightly old because its an old company and it is a service that should deserve an award for their excellence. People can get on their nerves and all the people complaining: such as Lucy Wilson. Need to understand all shopkeepers deserve and have the right to have a break and if they decide to be closed. Theyre closed.

Frustrating. Bad customer service. Much of the shop is cordoned off. You can't browse and look at tools. When i asked them questions about their products, i was told i needed to 'go do research' and pointed to their website. Having come some distance expressly to be able to look at and hold tools prior to buying, i was not impressed. They might have had everything i was looking for, but their unhelpful attitude and the impossibility of browsing and comparing products meant it was a wasted journey.

Frustrating people come and have a look at our goods, waste our time and then go and buy it online. I know my staff (we are a family business) my staff wouldn't do such thing!

Tyzack tools is a specialist shop and not in an easy location. When you advertise yourself as open on Google why are you then shut!!. Could you not simply leave an answer phone message stating when you are open rather than the unhelpful "we can't take your call and don't leave a message" I believe in supporting shops like you but you don't seem to support your customers
