A beautiful little shop where indeed you can find "utilitarian" objects but a bit upmarket where these become perfect items to display and boast about in your house, use them as presents (since it's Christmas) or even personalise them either for your home or as presents. Very clean and clutter free observing hygiene and social distancing during the pandemic.

Great products and great service. Order arrived the next day beautifully packed. I was contacted personally when there was a a blip on the website and I couldn't complete my order online. You wouldn't get that from Amazon. We should all try and support great independent businesses like this one

Love them! I broke two (2!!) coffee makers in a week during lockdown and they delivered both in record time. So helpful and sweet with fast delivery. Will only buy from these guys for my homewear :)

Really good. Stock includes my holy grail, the ever practical cork bathmat (so I no longer have to get nostalgic about the old Brighton Cork Shop). Will need to revisit now I know what they sell, not really impulse buys, just common sense items

Utility is an incredibly charming little shop. It’s similar to a lot of the WWII-style homeware shops that have been popping up (Labour & Wait, for example) but without the hefty mark-up on twine and brooms. Expect to find practical bits and bobs for your kitchen, neatly stacked on shelves, with funny descriptions typed on lined card. Not something you find in John Lewis and a really lovely touch. I could have bought the place out of enamel kitchenware and tea caddies but I settled on a nice water bottle for my desk for £3.50. It would have been twice as much in London, that’s for sure. If you want to find sturdy stuff for your kitchen but the whole vintage theme rankles you, then Utility is the place to go. And not a Keep Calm & Carry On tea towel in sight.
