As soon as we saw the place from the outside it looked beautiful. When we walked in the host was really rude to us asking us to take off our masks, yelling at my partner because she refused to take it off and saying he didn't want us there. From what he said seemed like a spot only for his friends and regulars. Not recommended for visitors to Chesham.

We absolutely loved our take out last night. The food was glorious with an amazing combination of flavour across the dishes that really worked well together. We were left with a lovely warm feeling of happiness. We would highly recommend and intend to be back at their fabulous music events again soon

I stumbled across The Drawing Room while wondering through Chesham. I saw the log burner gently puffing out smoke and fancying a coffee I stumbled in through the doors. What awaits you is an Aladdins cave of wonder- lovely art, a warm homely atmosphere, a TV playing the music from the recorded gigs on Saturday night, Tibetan singing bowls, a full gin bar and tapas menu and Richard, one of the most wonderful and hospitable human beings that you can meet. Richard spent time talking, giving me the tour of the music venue, showing me the brilliant acts they have had on Saturday nights on his TV and talking through some of the homemade foods they have on offer. He is a lovely guy and he has some good stories and history to tell. The Drawing Room is a must on a stop through Chesham and it's one of my best ever finds. Thanks to Richard and the staff for being so fantastic.

Incredible hidden gem, owner came and spoke to us and along with the other staff members made us feel very welcome. Great selection of food and drink. If you visit you must go upstairs to see the cool den where we sat, great place to chill, made my week. The owner was blowing giant bubbles in the street and there was a wood burning chiminea just outside, great vibes

Excellent food and even more excellent selection of cakes. Quirky place - feels like you're stopping by your cool hippy friend's place for a bite. Wholesome, delicious food and reasonably priced. Also plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options (including the cakes.... THIS IS NOT A DRILL: ALL OF THE CAKES ARE GLUTEN FREE). We stopped here at the end of our Chess Valley walk and the owner was relaxed about our muddy boots - we just took them off to use the bathroom upstairs.... Like you'd do at your friend's house.

Utterly different in a good way. Friendly, chilled a secret little haven up a side street in this pretty market town. I didn’t eat but the but the hot chocolates were scrumptious. In today’s very samey chain store world please put a visit to this unique independent cafe on your bucket list.

Stopped off after doing walk 26 in "The Home Counties from London by Train" Ordnance Survey book! Really pleased we did before the epic met line tube back. The owner kindly let me swap my cider for a drier one and made us welcome as we sat on comfy chairs outside, wriggling our toes. Eclectic place, it'd be my regular if I lived nearby.

What a surprise this place is
Highly individual, bit odd and quirky, interesting and even a bit zen. Food and drinks were good too. A real alternative to the bland chain coffee shops and gender fluid barista lifestyle offers now thrown at us in the UK. Worth checking out.

Came late morning a few weeks ago for the first time and were the only customers. After 10 minutes or so, the owner started chatting. No feeling of intrusion. We felt like we were his guests in his home. Even his cat sat on my lap! Plan to return when next in Chesham.

I have had breakfast here once and it was a very cold and snowy day. The owner gave us some hot rocks to help warm us up, which I thought was a very nice touch. That said, the breakfast itself was nothing out of the ordinary, A full English Breakfast that is reasonably good. With stiff competition around the corner, I probably won't be back here any time soon.

Brilliant place first time we have been here to watch live music with melinda ortner and rodney branigan and loved the intimate experience. The food provided in the ticket price was surprisingly good for vegi food being a full blown meataterian but also a veg lover as well I was pleasantly surprised

We went there last month on a Saturday evening. The weather was perfect so we sat outside eating, drinking, and listening to some beautiful music.
