The Original Factory Shop

Appaling. Spent £30. Went back in store to buy air fresheners. Brought 2 for £6. Back in the car we realised that there was no liquid in the containers, returned to store. Asked which liquid fitted the containers so i could purchase, no one knew and then was told they didn't sell them. Therefore returned the fresheners and requested a refund. (Remember this is £6). Asked for my receipt, by the lady, I informed her that i was not given one but she confirmed that she remembered me from 5 minutes previously. That was proof of purchase. Refused me a refund , offered me a voucher. I did not visit shop often so insisted on a refund. This was refused so is asked for the manager. I aked him why he was selling air fresheners that could not be used because they did not sell the liquid content. He became Irritated and refused me a refund. Informed him i would be taking this up with his Head office, reminded him that the lady assistant had confirmed my purchase. (Giving proof of puchase) Still no refund. So i told him i would take his voucher, rip it up outside and not return to the store. He then informed me that he would give me my refund and "THAT I WAS BANNED FROM THE SHOP" He told me numerous times. He just did not know how to answer my questions, poorly trained. Astonishment was not the word. I was absolutly shocked. 63 years old and never been in this situation before, FACTORY SHOP YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. He left, I took my refund and asked the assistant for the manager details. He came back out of his office and told me he had already given them. I then asked again and he told me his first name. Asked him again and he told me his second name and told me to leave the store. appalling, and at his stage i admit i became loud and informed the shop of the appalling service so all could hear. (not proud of myself but now so annoyed) He told me to leave again which i did.(With my £6) . Why sell an air refeshener when you do not sell the rest to enable it to be used and then why refuse a refund when brought ot your attention. Then why ban a 63year old for asking the question and requesting a refund. 1 Star is too much.

Some bits I find expensive. But still bargains to be had.

Prices have risen and it's not as pleasant an experience as when it first opened but it still worth visiting for cheaper cosmetics and some perfumes.

Went today bought a few bits and bagged some bargains, unfortunately went down hill at the tills, a very very rude woman name was nahideh served me she needs some training on how to speak to customers,charged me for items I didn't have no apologies just carried on snapping at me and being rude.

Good low budget shopping

Very helpful. Held most of my shop behind till til ready to pay. Then helpfully packed into huge bags so could carry all at once

Messy floor space, Rude staff that don't want to be there. Prices are good even though the stock is terribly cheap. I can go to many places that make a customer feel welcome. Not recommended to anyone.

Probably the most appalling customer 'service' encountered to date. Misleading shelf tickets and an open admittance that 'our stock does not reflect the price tickets' making up prices as they go along. A suggestion that trading standards would view their attitude poorly when they tried to charge a higher price made up by the staff than on the very misleading shelf ticket that was no where to be found on the till search was met with a shrug and 'ok then'. I was also overcharged for a damaged item until I pointed it out. At the very least the three individuals I encountered, one of which tried to pack fragile china underneath heavy dishes need considerable customer service training - one customer who will NOT be returning - not worth even one star but have to give it to post
