Very outdated on appearance, nice selection of items to browse over, but not everything is cheaper than the rival opposite and store also feels very dark and dingee.. Alright for a passing shop, but not ideal for a frequent shop

A reasonably well run pound shop. There is a bigger Poundland a few hundred yards up London Rd - they do have different Sunday opening times though I believe.
