Pretty good value on most items but staples like paracetamol are much cheaper just about everywhere else! Always good to get one off things which are often only available for a short time. All time fave was a kilogram ball of elastic bands ????

Friendly staff and amazing selections... Western Road branch has the most orgamnized shelves....unfortunately like Argos the place will be closing soon in Western Road. They have other branches though in North Street and London Road Brighton

Store was packed with homeless this time too.. not pleasant and social distancing not a thing here either..
Only thing that gives this 3 star is it's cheap, local and essential services while remaining open.

Its poundland, it does what it says on the tin! Branded names as well as other's, are as cheap as chips, sometimes items need their weights & measures checked. I just bought a load of stuff for our Grand childrens Halloween party, plenty to choose from. I spoke to two members of staff who were very helpful & friendly.

It has soo many useful items, great for the odd kitchen, gardening and craft items.
Lots of bits to top up school packed lunches.

Surprisingly quiet in there today although I got there after six pm. Thought it was amusing, they have everything you could need the moment you step out of the shower... But they don't sell the shower mat you need to stand on when you're in there. Lol
