Fabulous service from this nursery when the weather delayed the delivery and I couldn't get on with my project. One quick call on Monday and 2 days later I have fabulous laurel hedging far exceeding my expectations. I completely lost sight of the fact they are dealing with living products in a global pandemic with global warming! As soon as they were able they went above and beyond. Can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Easy to do business with. Ordered 7 huge black bamboo plants, rang the next day to confirm they were in stock, very helpful chap advised they were on there way in in a matter of days and they'd be with me today... And they arrived just as he said they would! After an awful experience with a big plant website beginning with P I'm glad I came across Seagrave. Will 100% use again.

Nursery or Scam? I Ordered 26 March 2021 for delivery within "7 - 14 days', money taken when ordered. Nothing happened. Managed to get finally through mid April to be told that they had run out and apology for not telling me. New plants promised for end of April. Today 5 May and still nothing received. Spent last half hour trying to get through using two phones. No answer. Next step Trading Standards. Should I contact police and report as fraud?

Order placed and on face value it looked very good. I have not received any goods or any update and we are now two weeks on. I have phoned and emailed multiple time with no answer. Not sure what is going on and customer support seems to have left the building. Be careful!

I ordered then got scared when I started to read the reviews of this place. I tried ringing but no one answered their phones. I emailed them to ask when it would be delivered and they emailed back with in 24 hours. I got an email to update delivery date and then one to say it was dispatched. I bought 7ft bamboo and got at least 9.5ft! The plants seem well worth the money. I’m very happy. Delivery was 4 days after I ordered. It’s March and all other places were at least a 3 week wait time due to a lot of orders. In the end very happy I went with them.

Absolutely bloody awful. There is no service from this place at all. I have used them in the past and offer timely delivery and one could always get in touch by telephone or receive email answers promptly. I have received after a prolonged period some plant... some of these are frankly dead. Despite attempts to contact there is no return emails and no one answers the phone. It is a bloody joke and no way to run a business. My advice is to consider comments from the last few weeks prior to ordering. I relied on previous experience. More fool me. Only 1 star offered as it is the lowest one can give

Used Seagrave last year- no complaints. Different story this year and will never use again. Order arrived 4 days late, plants in poor state, maybe left over bank holiday on pallet. Pallet broken and we are missing part of an £800 order. Trying to rectify but zero communication. Phone ringing out and no response to emails. Wish we'd taken heed of previous reviews- will stay local and avoid online for plants in future.

We are really happy with the pleached crab apple trees we bought. They were delivered in a timely manner, are good quality and at an excellent price. I was slightly concerned after reading some of the reviews but my email queries were answered and the trees were delivered when Seagrave said they would be. Would definitely order from Seagrave again.

Placed an order a month ago. Have been told twice my order is on its way on a palette and nothing has shown up, I would save your money and order elsewhere. Very difficult to get an email response or call answered. Am even offering to pick up my order in person now as don’t believe it will get to me. I hope they can take on someone in customer services or limit their website sales daily so they can catch up with the demand. Its such a shame. Hopefully i can get in contact with someone soon!

Contacted prior to placing order to make sure items wanted were in stock. Got a reply straight away stating they were in stock and would be with me within a week. So I placed the order for almost £500. Did not receive a confirmation of the order but a few days later received an email with a delivery date. Have now received another email informing me that delivery date has been cancelled due to quantity and quality issues and I will be contacted at some point with another delivery date! Unfortunately that's not good enough, I specifically asked prior to placing the order, so do not want to wait and wait. I've emailed them to ask that the order be cancelled and for a full refund but no response yet and they are not answering the phone. Will be doing section 75 if I don't hear anything soon.

Order plants over 2 months ago was told it would take two weeks. They took the money. Impossible to get through on the phone and no one answer email. There are plenty of other nurseries out there don't create stress in your life or problems trying to coordinate your plants with gardeners etc by using Seagraves. Go elsewhere. Better prices and proper service and attention to customers

We bought a silver birch and are very pleased with it. It was tall and beautifully straight. Couldn’t have had a better specimen if we had chosen it ourselves. It was delivered promptly and arrived safely. Definitely a five star company ????

Ordered 2 large bamboos, but was not at first given a delivery date until I made an enquiry - this is my only negative comment. They were delivered undamaged and adequately packaged. Both look good and healthy. Would recommend Seagrave Nurseries for large plants.

Delivery took a bit longer than I expected, but when I emailed them for an update I was answered a couple of hours later informing me of when to expect the two trees I had ordered. They got delivered on the day and came in immaculate condition. Very happy with my purchase.

We have bought 2 black bamboos from Seagrave Nurseries on the Internet. Even though we didnt see what were buying and was a little worried of the qualities of the trees we still went ahead with the purchase and paid for it over the phone. We needn’t worry the trees arrived in super condition and its thriving already showing new growths just after 3 weeks. Excellent customer service and highly recommended!

I ordered an amazing tree from Seagrave nurseries. The ease of ordering and receiving photographs, delivery and order statements was exceptional. I even telephoned to check details because it was all so simple to do (Maybe, I'm a worrier). I telephoned in the morning, my call was answered and my queries satisfied within minutes, by very helpful and very friendly staff. My tree arrived exactly as planned (just before Christmas) at my given delivery address in Folkestone. The delivery driver was so excellent (even though he had driven for 4 hours and he must have been tired.) It was a dark and wet late afternoon time slot. The delivery driver was a charming and very helpful man, he put the tree in a good position before he left. My purchase was for a surprise Christmas present for somebody very special to me, so it was very important. The huge tree was better than I could have imagined and I am so pleased with its quality and size. The customer service and deliver was second to none. Thank you so much Seagrave nurseries.

Excellent service! I called them to ask a care question and they talked me through various solutions, very knowledgeable team. I bought two large bamboos that were excellent quality. It's rare that a shop exceededs your expectations, but Seagrave Nurseries certainly did. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

I ordered a large Cypress but it looked as though it was temporarily out of stock and that delivery would be two or three weeks. But the nursery obviously found one of the correct size and despatched it immediately. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition - a fine tree. Thank you.

Firstly, I was surprised how quickly the delivery was... less than 48 hours. The bamboos were much bigger and bushier than I anticipated, and the speed and size of the plants justifies the slightly high delivery charge for my order (less than £300 or would have been free!). Very healthy looking plants and will make a great instant screen when potted up! A very happy customer indeed :)

!!!!!!!BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! I bought some Photinia Red Robin standard trees. They arrived in an appalling state which I did not discover until I took the protective netting off when most of the leaves fell off. The "soil" in the pots looks as though it is mainly sand. They do not respond to voicemails or emails. I will be seeking legal advice to take this further. Unfortunately having to give 1 star so this can be posted!

The Seagrave Team have been superb from beginning to end during this 3rd lockdown. Responsive on emails and holding delivery back until our garden was ready to receive. Most impressively, when we had one damaged item (out of 20+) they returned with a replacement inside 48hrs. Impressive.

I was fully aware I would be waiting a while to receive my order (2x Photinia Red Robin 5-6ft EXCLUDING pot height) although I had received a confirmation email and details of when my order would be delivered. However, I actually cannot believe the condition of the plants I've received. It isn’t just a case of them not being watered for a day – looks like they’ve not been watered for weeks. The new growth is completely dead and beyond saving. Spindly plants that are such poor quality. There are loads of leaves that have come away and the two plants are completely different heights. If I could attach photos I would as the poor condition really needs to be seen to be believed!

I’m always a bit nervous when buying plants from a picture and description on online however when they arrived I was over the moon with the quality and size of them. I ordered 11x black bamboo plants at 3.5 metres tall. They are fantastic ! Would definitely recommend and order from seagrave nurseries again ????????????

Ordered 2 phormiums, same size, had to chase on expected delivery after 2 weeks no news. One was much larger (not a problem) and all soil had emptied out of pot. Had a plastic mesh round but not solid enough round top of pot to keep soil in. Suspect our local carriers dont keep the right way up. Otherwise nice healthy plants.

Ordered five 7-8ft Leylandii trees. Got a little nervous after reading reviews afterwards but the two emails I sent were replied to within half a day. Delivery was under two weeks and the plants were nearer 9ft and good quality. The only reason for not giving five stars was the tracking link did not work and I had to email for delivery information. Would be happy to use again.

Seagraves Nurseries provide excellent quality plants at very competitive prices. When possible, they arrive in record time and always in tip top condition. I was reluctant to buy from an unknown online supplier, but I am so glad I did. I cannot recommend highly enough. The yew plants were delivered in December 2019 and the photograph is around September 2020. Top quality!!

I ordered two Italian Cypresses from Seagrave Nurseries and am not disappointed with them at all. They are both extremely healthy, a good size and the price was very reasonable too. Communication with the Nursery was excellent. I had emailed them to make a query and they responded promptly. The delivery driver was friendly and took good care of the trees during the transit. I will definitely be making more purchases from them in the not too distant future. Thank you Seagrave Nurseries!

i placed an order with Seagrave Nurseries on the 29/03/21 for the amount of £735.00 - we have had no contact at all from this company, not by email or text. I have tried this company by phone daily, but no one picks up the phone. I think this is terrible customer service and i would like to advise anyone thinking of ordering plants etc., to stay well clear. If i do not receive any contact from them in the next few days i will take this matter further.

Awful experience. Do not use them. Delivered clearly dead bamboo plants, delayed over replacing them before eventually refunding us and are now refusing to collect these dead plants, so we will have to pay to have them removed. Shocking customer service.

Very poor experience- ordered on line all items in stock showing immediate delivery, paid over £200. After a week had to contact them to ask about delivery. Confirmed delivery date but no time, tried to call them on day to see if coming but no reply all day. Eventually turned up around 7.30 at night. Half order was missing and items that came were in a dreadful state. I refused delivery and contacted them next day for refund. I did get it but a nightmare experience- so difficult to contact and no communication- sadly never again and could not recommend

I ordered a couple of phormium and when they arrived one was partially damaged the other badly damaged in transit. Seagrave were quick to respond to my query and to replace the goods. Replacements arrived today and are perfect. Thank you for good customer service.
