Staff not very helpful in the garden centre area. Asked them for advise on evergreens for pots, they just pointed me to the shrub area and said to read the labels. Not the advise I was looking for, disappointing

Garden Centre is pleasant and lovely to walk round. Staff are very friendly. Been down today and absolutely gutted to see that Cotton Traders, Mountain Warehouse, and the Works are all closing because Dobbies are not supporting them. Turning it into a farm shop. Do you not realise we already have 2.

Visited Dobbies at Rothley today to buy a vegetable trough, soil and lettuces ready for planting. This is for a present for a neighbour. The gentleman who helped me was absolutely brilliant. Took time to assist me. First class service. Thank you.

Today I visited to stock up on birthday cards rather than buy plants. Good social distancing observed. Not too busy & no queues even though it's a sunny springtime Sunday. Lots of plants, bulbs & compost and there were signs indicating Click & Collect also available.

Considering garden centres have been open throughout lock down you would think they would be better organised. Each time I call in here it gets worse. No staff on the floor, no prices on the products and generally badly organised. The biggest gripe is the overprices plants, shocking!

Large garden centre, large car park, café, toilets, other outlets within the main building. Not the cheapest garden centre, but they sell good quality products. Café always seems to be popular.

Fantastic place that is well organised and fairly priced. Plants are all in good healthy condition. It also had a few surprise veg plants which i was very happy to snap up. Thank you dobbies, will deffo be making another few visits.

I like to go to Dobbies to buy things in the time of Covid. It feels like a day out. Excellent chutney, crackers for cheese, presents for children etc. and have bought many plants over the years too. Nice scones when the tearoom is allowed to open.

Very disappointing ....we arrived firstly to pick up some John Innes No.2 soil and then hoped to have a look round. Most of the bags of John Innes had split and were very muddy due to the leakage and the wet.. It looked as though most of the seams hadn’t sealed together which at £6.99 a bag was very poor.

Dobbies Garden centre is a lovely place to walk around and shop. I found quite a few little Christmas gifts to send to my partner. They also hav'nt forgotten their a garden centre with plenty of seeds, plants, tools etc. Covid safe too!

It's a very nice garden centre with other stores like Edinburgh Mill and The Works inside too. There is cafe that serves good food and plenty of choice of cakes etc., The staff are really observing covid-19 rules very well.

I have been a huge fan of Dobbie's Garden Centres for years, and as far as the Rothley one is concerned, as a Garden Centre it is "alright, nothing special".
