Reasonably priced shampoo bars are very hard to come by. I've heard from many people that have used Lush bars that they don't work but don't let that put you off, try another one! This shop has bars from as little as £3 for 80g which is cheaper than Boots and far more available. Zero waste shops are few and far between so support your local business and help this one to grow! Also would recommend the washing up liquid - cheap and smells amazing.

Placed an order of items that aren't yet available at our local refill. I love the fact that my order arrived in completely recycled packaging, with the most ingenious use of cardboard I've ever seen for wrapping glass bottles. The shampoo/bodywash cubes are brilliant, no nasties in, for my daughter with sensitive skin, allergies and curly hair, she's a tricky one to get products for. We're still to use our shampoo blocks. The range of items you've got available is incredible, with attention to running a totally eco friendly business in every respect. We have a local provider but she's fairly new and growing her business; so mindful of eco principles I ordered only things that I can't get locally. Excellent small and personal set up, shown by the little card in the order box and the communication throughout the process. You totally deserve your success, clearly working very hard, growing an absolute gem of a business.

I was delighted to find this place in Loughborough to support my effort to reduce the amount of plastic that I buy. There is a good range of products packed into a small space. I particularly like that they provide a variety of options to reduce waste. For example: household cleaning products can be refilled, purchased as concentrate (that you dilute), or purchased as powder. All really helpful solutions to reduce new plastic being made. The blog has good tips and advice including the open minded idea of keeping existing plastic items and reusing them rather than disposing of them. Great stuff.

I had no idea that Loughborough had a zero waste shop so I was delighted to discover it recently! I bought these products: Ocean Saver cleaning drops, Kutis natural deodorant and a soap pouch for a very reasonable price. They have an excellent range of eco friendly products plus a big selection of cleaning, bathroom and hand sanitiser refills to choose from - I can't wait to try some of these. I love that it's a family business and will definitely be supporting The Cleaning Cabinet from now on!

Bought three fabric face masks from The Cleaning Cabinet and not only did they arrive the following day but also in plastic free packaging as requested (this may be their standard but either way I’m grateful!) It's hard to navigate around the different ethical choices and there is always some trade-off between one ecological benefit and another. The Cleaning Cabinet really helps with this! They have a really thoughtfully curated range of ethically and environmentally considerate products, very reasonable delivery costs, and plastic-free padded envelopes. I'm really happy with my zero-plastic super-concentrated sanitiser and reusable glass spray bottle, and my zero-plastic toothpaste tablets. I would certainly recommend to anyone trying to do their eco best!

I ordered 4 coil soap rests and the eco dish washing set. So happy with the soap reats; no more soggy soap. I love the dishwashing brush; such a good design and brilliant for getting baked-on cottage pie off! Have yet to try the dishwshing soap as I'm finishing off my old liquid. Would definitely recommend the products and service I have received. Great job The Cleaning Cabinet!
