Quite a small store only good for essentials. Was very quiet on a Saturday. Staff customer service was dire and surprisingly bad for homebase.

All the socially distancing & Covid related safety measures are in place, a one way system takes you into the middle of the store where you will probably find what you want because it seems to have everything a hardware/DIY store should have, prices are reasonable, unfortunately not everything was priced on my last visit, I'm sure it was remedied quickly though, there's ample parking, disabled parking & entrance & I've seen staff carrying stuff out to people's cars, they are very helpful in there.

Rubbish car park. Small store but generally well stocked. Pricing tickets regularly missing or showing wrong price which is like all Homebase stores not just this branch

Good range of items available seem to have much better stock position than B&Q not sure why. Especially good stock of decorating items especially paints both for internal and external use.
Staff very helpful and a good standard of measures in place to provide a safe environment due to Covid19.

Not the best. I wouldn't normally review a DIY store, but I simply asked an assistant the price and availability of a lamp and it took quite some effort and a lot of huffing and puffing to get the information. I'd just spent £200 in the Brighton store on lights. They were super helpful and friendly. I'd gone to Lewes as I was one short. I know we are all under strain at the moment, but asking a price and stock availability should not make me feel like I've really put some one out. Being nice and good manners are really quite important right now. :)

Really nice range of products and great staff! The store is also dog friendly - which has been amazing for brining my dog in on rainy days and not feeling cooped up at home during the pandemic !

Easy to get to on the east side of town close to other stores it has all the normal d I y stuff well laid out it has a good carpark a little small but does have street parking meters except Sunday

Easy to get to not a lot of parking but enough parking in road opposite is free on Sunday but a meter ready of week store has everything you will need like the layout ????

I've been to this branch several times over the last couple of months. They have a great range of internal storage items, and some great kitchen and bathroom models on display. The service is a bit hit and miss, depending on who happens to be working on that day, which is why I haven't been able to reward a full 5*.

Awful rude abrupt staff, really shouldn't go to work if they can't be civil. Assistant during this crisis told us only one person per household could enter, no problem, then whilst we spent 30 seconds making sure the one that went in knew what to buy, the assistant said "make your mind up, is one of you coming in" Really!! rude.

Very hot in the store at lunch time as no air con. Needed some advice on paint, helpful and friendly staff. Was served by Meghan and Shelly, knowledgeable and good service. Shame about the heat!

Good size store for a town the size of Lewes. Varied selection of stuff, similar to other home bases. There are less staff there these days, but that's a corporate thing. Everyone I've met the has been knowledgeable and friendly. The car park is small.
