Avoid the pricing scam! Just had frankly appalling experience here. Root cause is a doubtless common scam. Price advertised at entrance is £10 for a large car, see photo. By the time you're done, it's £13 (a price for a "special wheel wash" which I was not asked about and did not ask for. Suddenly there are three men round the car and a highly threatening environment. Do NOT use this service.

Avoid like the plague! Grumpy and surly staff and my car came back dirtier than arrived. I know black cars are hard to clean but when the water had dried I still had patches of mud around the car. Awful job

Not one to write negative reviews and often annoyed when reading them but.....Avoid this place at all costs. £20 for an in and out clean and they somehow made it dirtier than when it arrived. Staff Attitude stinks as well. Rudest people. I can see that a lot of people have said that they damaged their cars and that is completely believable.

Been a couple of times now and each time I think that is the last time. Today for the grand price of £15 I got what should be an in and out clean. The wheels aren't clean, the glass is streaky and the inside of the car had the quickest of cleans with a hoover but that is about it. Really do not recommend this car wash. It is really very poor. Go elsewhere!!!

I'm so shocked by all these negative reviews. But like one reviewer said, most people who have no issue with this car wash might not think to leave a review. I have been coming to this car wash for over a year now and I have no complaints. The manager is very friendly, the team is hardworking and the prices are fair. Sure, sometimes they might miss a stop here and there, but if you mention it, they'll happily attend to it.

Had the car 'cleaned' inside and out with the 'special wheel wash'.. terrible job really for £15. Don't get me wrong I don't expect perfection by any means but it's just a really half arsed job. The wheels haven't been touched, I had to rewash them at home, so I'm not sure what a special wheel wash' includes. There was dirt left all over the car especially around the wings and lower rear bumper. The inside was given what looks like a half hoover and a very quick wipe down it certainly wasn't worth the wait or money paid. I would avoid this particular car wash.

This car wash is the pits. The idiots slid a bottle across the bonnet of my Porsche causing a long scratch mark. Then the manager denied responsibility even though it was clearly recorded on his CCTV video. Would recommend avoid, particularly if you have a prestige car.

I just can’t explain how bad experience I had with this “car wash”. If you want to find the worst ever place to get your vehicle cleaned, I can ensure this will be the one.

Went there today....A few guys did it but one guy washed it one handed as his other was cold... and Stevie Wonder could have washed it better... Will need to be redone by a company that can clean vehicles....... £11 rip off.....avoid avoid avoid......

Do not go here.
Our car left City Car Wash with big circular scratches on the boot lid paint. We called City Car Wash and the owner stated the damage was not caused by them, they take no responsibility for damage to the car, and refused to offer advice or apology for the damage caused. Disgusting unprofessional service. Very upset.

After the local car wash closed down I was looking for a new option but they all seem to have bad ratings. I feel this may be an industry where people are more inclined to leave a negative review than a positive one. I’ve been twice and they seem solid. £15 and a decent wash outside and in. The wait both times has been fine, a little slower than the past place, but no more than 10 mins then roughly 20 mins for the wash. The guys that do the job aren’t exactly showering you in cuddles but the manager (the only person you really interface with) is very friendly.
It’s fair for people to leave negative reviews if it reflects their experience but I think the vast majority of satisfied customers drive off and don’t think about it again. Either way, this is now my regular. Note, it’s cash only - there’s an ATM close by.

Don't ignore the reviews - this place really is awful. I wasted almost an hour to be left with a water/soap stained car. The best bit was asking for tyre shine and watching one of the workers use detergent on the tyres. I'd give it 0 if I could.

I made the mistake of going with gut instinct and ignoring the reviews- big mistake!!
£15 for a shoddy inside and outside clean was a bit irritating from a place I have been to on and off over the last 15 years. More irritating was after driving for 40 minutes and I wanted to lock the car that I discovered that they had kept the keys from my car (it's a fob that is needed to start the car but then not needed whilst the engine is running) . Bizarrely I was to blame apparently and no hint of an apology or god forbid a refund for wasting over an hour of my Saturday afternoon to return to the place to get my keys.
These guys have no idea of customer service and more importantly are bad at washing cars

Friendly staff, but terrible job. Outside of the car still dirty in several places after wash. The boot carpet of a new car has been permanently damaged with long gouges.

Took my bike for a wash to get the road salt off did a terrible job basically through water at it and then smeared all the salt and dirt around the bike. When I challenged him he was typically rude and couldn't speak English
