I had a great experience here. Went in to update my address on my driver's license. The person helping me was extremely competant, kind, knowledgable and helpful. There was no wait and I was done with updating everything within 15 minutes. In case I need any further assistance I will definitely head back here. A definitely recommend for people who need a smooth and pleasant experience while at any registry office.

They’ll team up against you when you’re explaining something and prove your point. They are not knowledgeable with new thing IRCC changes due to COVID-19. Went there with my printed eCoPR, they’re asking for the original that comes from the mail. I said it’s Electronic CoRP Im not gonna get a copy from from mail. Well, instead of wasting my time and energy I just leave and went to Southland Registry and they knew about eCoRP and easy to deal with them it took me 5mins and done.. got my health card in a week.

Had my class 5 test today at my third attempt and I got it, the first 2 examiners picked up on rather little things, but today I corrected all that and had a test with Frank, really Fantastic guy and very kind, thank you for quelling my anxiety and thank you so much for being awesome, highly appreciated.. also the staff is very quick and efficient.... :)

I rarely run into massive line ups at this location and I've had to go several times. They are quick to take customers and get their needs accomplished. I had to go back several times due to having an expired drivers' license from the US. They knew exactly what was necessary to complete the paperwork and ultimately we had to wait on a letter from the DMV. It turned out to be a 2 week process!! By the time I had finally gotten the DMV to fax them the letter directly, everyone at the office was so excited to help me get my Alberta drivers license. It was refreshing to see so many caring individuals invested in helping me complete this process. They all cheered me on and made sure I left with it THAT day, despite them having some intermittent wifi connection issues. This is my go-to registry!

Registry's often get a bad rap, but in my experience at this one on MacLeod, it's been really positive. I've never had to wait in line more than around 10 minutes. I've had my plates renewed a couple times, license renewed and updated, and had a couple other little things over the last couple of years, and it's always been quick and easy.

We went in to get a health care card and ID card issued and the staff were very rude. The one lady at the accounts payment desk (first desk on the right when you walk in) of Asian descent was very dismissive, didn’t listen to our requests and was literally yelling at us. Avoid interacting with her at all costs! After our terrible experience we took our business to the other registry in the area and everything got processed very quickly, pain free, and in a respectful manner.

Outstanding experience. Very fast and productive. I had the kindest road test examiner, if I remember correctly his name was Muhammad. The first thing he told me once we got inside the car was just "relax, take it easy and everything will be fine". Being someone that has been putting off taking the road test for quite some time, hearing such words of assurance definitely helps. I think we get into our heads too much when taking road tests. So honestly, I'm super lucky to have had him as my first examiner ever. Super nice, sincere and the calmest voice when instructing which I feel is most important because you don't wanna be stressed while on the road. All in all thank you guys for the license and a job well done.

Took my advanced driving test here. I booked it online and it was easy and simple every step of the way. The day I came there, their wasn’t a line up at all and the clerks behind the desk seemed very quick and efficient. The man who was doing the road test was a very cool and calm guy who made me feel very comfortable while doing my test. I would recommend everybody takes their driving test here.

My spouse has taken basic driving test 2 times with instructor Frank. She was taught to drive from the same teacher who taught me and he told that she is driving perfect. I have seen her report and also listened to her. She is very upset, and she is saying that this is just a money generating registry. They will tell you that you driving too fast even though you are within a speed limit and make you uncomfortable, also will yell at you to make you fail for sure. Attention New Drivers! I agree with those people who advised to avoid this place! Please, do as advised in here or otherwise you will just keep paying those people for failing you. Waste of time and money.
I chose this place due to location, don't repeat my mistake please.

Emailed Fleet Renewal with instructions of changes and specifically requested a new fleet sticker for one plate and had a major discussion about it. Sent someone to go pick up the renewal and they didn't give me the new Fleet Sticker/Registration. Called them and they basically told me too bad come back and pay for it. I have been renewing our fleet with them for 18 yrs and they told me they couldn't understand why I was frustrated and when I got more frustrated by that they told me to stop yelling. I wasn't yelling, but I was excited because of their blatant rudeness. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They don't even deserve 1 Star. I have an email trail of all of our discussions. Down right rude and ignorant. I had no problem paying for the new Fleet Sticker initially but I have a problem now. They've lost my business.

I have been going to this registry for years - the staff are efficient and the rates aren't jacked up like at some other registries. I can usually be in and out in 15 minutes.
I recently completed my advanced road test with Mohammed and he was extremely fair! If you failed, you probably had an obvious road violation during your test. He understood I was nervous, and was a very calm guy.

I brought my daughter here on her 16th birthday after booking online. This location was the only Registry in Calgary that allowed for road test bookings on this very special day.
The staff here were beyond understanding, calming and patient. The road test examiner - Muhammad - was extremely kind, soft-spoken and wonderful - a true professional. He spoke with my very nervous and apprehensive daughter before the test and calmed her nerves down significantly. He presented himself in a non-confrontational manner and had the requisite level of EQ in order to ingratiate himself socially before, during and after the test.
My daughter passed with flying colors and will remember this day and experience for the rest of her life. We do not live anywhere close to this location but because of the professional experience, we would recommend this location to anyone. Friendly, competent and thorough staff? Where does one find that anymore?

My girlfriend and I went in at 6:05pm on a Wednesday evening for her to take a learners test. The lady at the counter said they won't give her the test because they closed at 7. We were kind of stunned that they wouldn't give her the test.
Angered, we left and drove to Southland registry and they gave her the test no problem. I even asked him if we had come in at 7:05 (they close at 8) if she could have taken the test. They're a lazy registry I guess. Id go else where.

Today I passed my basic road test. My examiner was Mohamed. He is awesome. I was not in perfect mood before my test, but he made some small talks to me, and I felt much better. Mohamed is a fair and responsible examiner and a nice person. I hope to see him in a couple of years for my advanced test.
