I was told on the 8th of January in an Argos online chat that "someone" would contact me within 48 hours regarding the sign written Argos delivery van that "hit and run" after crashing my parked car on that day. Sussex Police have suggested in the first instance I should speak with you regarding your "hit and run". No one from Argos seems willing to deal with such a matter or take proper action and provide insurance details for damage to a stationary third party motor vehicle....

Two staff stood around talking, while the other younger member of staff was left to deal with any customers at the customer service desk. I waited 15 minutes at the collection point waiting for my product, only to find that no one was on their way to get it. Eventually, the ladies talking finally realised they actually have to work to be paid and I received my product. This was on wednesday (07/10). Thank you to the young lady doing all the hard work that evening behind the desk!

They just never answer the phone so why have a contact number if you cannot use it - Totally hopeless so I ended up buying from Amazon no wonder all the physical stores are disappearing as they provide absolutely no customer service ( Called Amazon customer service and got an answer to my question so purchased from them and it was cheaper for the same product )

I chose and reserved two items that I would be able to collect and pay for the next day. This system is so easy and efficient to use on collection by also entering my reservation code and paying automatically into the pay station. Totally simple for a bit of a dinosaur like me. The staff were friendly and I was in and out in a flash. Brilliant!

I never leave reviews but I was so happy I thought it was necessary! Ashley orgainised a replacement for a broken order so swiftly, and Luke went out of his way to make sure it was delivered promptly. Genuinely great experience with quality staff members. Thank you Ashley and Luke!

Dreadful.. Spent £120 approx on 2 items of furniture for the bedroom and on the first one, it snapped in half on first screw going in, returned and they hadn't seen a break occur like this caused by a natural knot from the tree it came from.. Got a refund, went back home to build the next item, got to the last part and the handle is broken from transit I imagen so, I am going to return this for refund and look for fur iture elsewhere.. For items made in Britain as it claims.. It is alarming really how shoddy our workmanship has become with broken weak stuff.

Had an issue with a faulty Samsung watch. I tried explaining to a lady who was very rude and unhelpful. Had to wait for 2 weeks for a repair and all I wanted was a different model. Vicky ended up taking control and her service was amazing. Far better than the First Lady who was supppsed to be her superior. Vicky organised a replacement and has left me a happy customer.

We purchased an item as a Christmas gift and noticed the game case had no game so I returned it to carden avenue but they had none available so they told me a day for when it should be available for collection so I arranged for a text message for when it was available so I left it a couple of weeks after I had not received any messages to say when it was due in then decided to take a chance and when to the store and overheard a member of staff say to another the game did come in but because I didn't collect it on time the store sold it I told a the staff member that I was supposed to have received a text message when it came in and the staff member said that couldn't happen because there were no contact details at this point I was getting very unhappy and I said there were details on the receipt with the instructions to message me and then she oh yes I see it now and turned around and basically said there is nothing she could do I asked when it was due in and I was told February and was given a gift card refund because my wife paid for it on her card and wouldn't give me a cash refund so I could get it sooner but although it was a store mess up they would have given me cash so now we have a very unhappy child who has not yet Had her present and still has to wait another month before she can have it !

Even after pre -ordering and paying online, it still took longer to collect my items than others who had just walked in! If orders are taken, paid for and confirmed for collection then surely these items should be waiting on shop floor for the customer?

Nobody seems to have a clue here. Everytime i get something the person at yhe counter gives my stuff to the wrong person then tells me they dont have what i ordered on and paid for. 4 times thats happened now.... Serves me right i guess for not realising how shoddy the place is the forst second and third time...

Did a job interview passed that then a driving assessment and failed due to being taken down such narrow roads where there was no room and dealing with drivers speeding at you with hardly any room to move honestly the roads the instructor took me on was unsuitable for such a large van
