London Hearing

Nick saw me for a same day appointment, as I mentioned I had blocked ears which were causing me pain. It took a long time to get the wax out, but he was determined not to let me leave without a clear ear drum. The wax was unusually stubborn. I was made to feel at ease the whole time, and left being able to hear again. I also have a pair of new ear plugs on the way as he measured them for me the same day, as we believe my wax was hard to remove due to the foam ear plugs I currently use for sleeping. Can't recommend Nick enough - thank you again and see you soon.

Great experience and very high quality product. I was very well looked after, got some great ear plugs which I use for revising, sleeping and going out. I don't know what I would do without them! Nick and the team are very professional and I will definitely be recommending their services to all my friends!

Having worn hearing aids for over 45 years, I've had plenty of experiences of both NHS and private hearing aid suppliers over this time. Nick Clive of London Hearing is up there with the very best. It was easy to arrange appointments at sensible times, email correspondence received swift replies and he had great patience as I went through the laborious process of obtaining funding for my aids as a 'workplace adjustment'. He was able to explain the new technology in a way that I could understand (no mean feat) and identified the ideal supporting gadgets to make life at home easier too. I have no hesitancy in recommending Nick to anyone seeking a consultation for their hearing. Thanks Nick.

Clarissa was incredible. As a sufferer of a phobia of procedures, I required A LOT of patience, understanding and clarity, all of which Clarissa was able to provide. The setting was great, the atmosphere professional and friendly. Clarissa sat me down and went through everything really clearly and was really attentive to my needs. The procedure itself was actually quite pleasant. From now on for the rest of my life, I shall go to London Hearing when I need microsuction. I highly recommend them.

My partner has been suffering from increasing hearing loss over the last 20 years. Over that time he has spent many thousands on differing systems with little long term positive effect. He has also used the NHS hearing aids for several years and although they worked rather well for the first few weeks after cleaning they would invariably clog up - were impossible to maintain properly without a visit to the NHS hearing specialists and he could only do that every six months or so. It was then suggested to us that we visit the team at London Hearing to see what they had to offer. I must admit that when we made the initial appointment we were both very sceptical that we would be seeing anything that would be sufficiently impressive to warrant an investment. After all we didn't really have a budget for an upgrade and felt it unlikely after previous experiences with other companies that their offerings would be that different in improving his hearing than the NHS hearing aids. The first appointment began with a comprehensive hearing test in a special booth at the clinic. I think this took about 20 to 30 mins possibly more. Then we had a consultation with Mo - who armed with the results from the tests began to show us the options available. Given that our 'budget' was tight we decided that we would investigate the entry level device of the three offered. Mo then spent some time using the results from the hearing test to program the device so that it would be specifically suited. After trying them on and with a few more tweaks of the system we left with them for a 30 day free trial. That evening we had guests for dinner and I remember them commenting on how much more involved in the hilarity and conversations my partner had been and what a great change it was from the "What? What? What?" we had become so used to. Over the coming weeks we were completely taken aback from the difference his hearing aids made to OUR lives. It really is impossible for me to over emphasise the positive effects. Private conversations at a reasonable level became possible. The having to repeat things time and time again at a louder level was no longer necessary. My partner has always had a great sense of fun and loves sharing stories and conversation and by the end of that 30 day trial we could see that he had become so much less socially isolated as a result of his deafness. Needless to say we purchased the hearing aids and he has been using them for nearly a year now. His enjoyment of people and conversations has continued to improve over that time - he can now hear the bird song in the garden - a pleasure he had not enjoyed for a very long time. The after sales service at London Hearing is second to none. We have had two occasions where we needed some help from them and each time they sorted everything in short order. The two things I have learnt from this whole experience are: 1) Hearing is so important to ones appreciation of life and should never be undervalued. It is of utmost importance to invest in it. There is no need to accept age related and other hearing loss as the technology improves rapidly and the costs have dropped significantly for cutting edge lasting solutions. 2) London Hearing is a business that really does work with each patient as if they were the only one. Solutions are tailored specifically to the individual and their budget. The team are there for the long term relationship with the client. They are not just centred on a quick sale soon forgotten, but more an ongoing partnership, with their customers hearing health foremost in their minds. I have huge respect for Mo and for every member of the team that I have met. I have no reservations at all and recommend them with 100% enthusiasm. I know that our experience with them is typical as it was both a personal and professional recommendation that introduced us.

Thank you for providing such exceptionally caring expertise and support in assisting an extremely aged lady who had within a short period of time, begun to withdraw from life. She had always been an enthusiast participant in conversation and was delighted by visits from friends and family making her precipitate withdrawal particularly hard to witness, much less accept as part of the 'normal' age related hearing loss. Having tried every route possible over several months, only to be told time and again it's an inevitable part of the aging process, Tony then examined Mrs.P, extracted wax and fitted hearing aids. To see her delight and astonishment upon hearing once again, able to re-engage in the life she feels so ' lucky' to have, has been an emotional experience. I cannot recommend London Hearing highly enough; from the initial examination to the support, advice and assistance received thereafter. We are again singing duets...badly...but merrily.

I cannot recommend Nick Clive and London Hearing enough. Nick is so knowledgeable and sensitive to how difficult it can be to change hearing devices. He's fantastic at finding the right product for each individual. Fantastic service and aftercare.

I was born with a hearing deficiency and after struggling with hearing issues all my life I finally had the courage to arrange a consultation with Mo Khan who came highly recommended. After trying with the NHS over a long period of time I have never received the quality of care which I have received from Mo. He went above and beyond to look after me. A very punctual and professional team who understands exactly what their clients need. I am not writing this review for regular services, I am writing it after a situation when Nick and his team did everything to ensure that I comfortable in a tough situation. My hearing aids had an issue while I was out of London. I was very anxious to know that other distributors in the country I was in wouldn't fix it. I emailed Nick on a weekend, but he looked after the case(even through it was the weekend) and he got me a new pair instead of the ones had an issue. He was regularly updating me about the situation so I feel less worried and actually first thing they did on following Monday after the weekend, they shipped me a new pair of hearing aids after programming it exactly like how I wanted it to be. Not only this, they offered that they fix the old pair and let me keep it as a spare one! I appreciate it very much and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. I trust them so much now with their competence and dedication. Amazing.

I was able to get my hearing aid fixed, while I waited. Appointment when I needed one. Super service. The alternative of sending the aid away to be fixed with another firm would have left me without hearing in one ear for weeks, and would have cost much more. Thanks!

I purchased Hearing Aids from London Hearing six months ago after visiting multiple clinics in London. I made the right decision to buy them from London Hearing. Careful and attentive service before purchase has been followed by fantastic support since I purchased in May 2017. I am 100% satisfied. Adjusting to Hearing Aids took some time. Nick and his team have been excellent and supportive since day one.

It's the expertise that makes the difference! I am the Audiologist's worst nightmare, a person with a technical background who plays music. Mo Khan took the time and trouble to ensure my hearing aids met all my requirements and they are amazingly good. One of my friends bought similar aids from a supermarket and is dissatisfied. I was left in an untenable position by the NHS - not their fault (I <3 the NHS) but their glacial speed when it comes to sorting hearing aids would probably have left me out of work before they could respond. I was lucky that going private was an option. I'd already done some research on hearing aids and kind of knew what I wanted - not 100% sure but good enough to whittle down the suppliers. I work near Paddington so Harley Street was near enough to get to. I rang the nice people at London Hearing and got a (same day) appointment. This was the same day as I had been told by the NHS that I wouldn't get my hearing aids for 4 to 5 months. I pottered over to Harley Street and met Nick. I didn't have my audiology test results with me so in the booth I went for a fresh test. After this we spent some time discussing my options. Nick really knows his stuff and it showed. I walked out of London Hearing a little later with my brand new hearing aids - and haven't been happier. In fact, I'd go so far as to say the ReSound Lynx2's have saved my job, my career. Who wants a deaf sales manager? I've recommended this team to a friend, who has had a very similar (happy) outcome and I'd recommend them to you. After care service has been similarly well executed - quick, friendly, helpful. Strong recommendation.

I went to see Nick Clive at London hearing as I have moderate hearing loss and I must say he truly was an excellent audiologist, the office was a beautiful building on Harley Street, but once inside the equipment available really is excellent. My consultation went extremely well and I am looking forward to receiving my new hearing aids. Strongly recommend.

I had the very good fortune to meet with Nick this morning; I have recently had to deal with significantly reduced hearing in one of my ears and needed to have my hearing aids checked out. Nick performed several tests on both of my ears and my hearing aids and very skillfully and very professionally isolated the cause of my hearing loss. I just received my ear plugs for the purpose of protecting my ears in loud venues/gigs/events. I do have mild tinnitus and received my first pair from Nick Clive around 2008. They have since worn out to which I went back to get a new pair. I have to say the new models (laser cut) are outstanding and really good in reducing the sound. This is the best place to get support and products in protecting your hearing.

London Hearing is a highly dependable, professional practice of great integrity in a business where the 'hard sell' is far from unknown. In particular, Mo Khan, my father's audiologist, displayed impeccable knowledge, patience, understanding, and attention to detail and will, I'm sure, continue to support and help my dad with excellent after-service.
