I find the DFA staff typically want to help make it smoother for you. It really is just sheer volume. What can be improved are putting up more signs to direct people where to go at ASEANA.

Unresponded inquiry in DFA's Facebook Account. I wasted my load credit as well on calling their hotline numbers. You shouldn't keep people waiting that long on your hotline numbers. Please do something about this DFA officials.

Crazy department, crazy officials and guards. Very much slowly working whole system, so slowly work officials from our taxes. To many people guards allow entry to Office, but many people Are not allowed entry with slippers. In our country what dont have any rules, minimum laws, minimum education And decency. People have Fun to humiliation each other. Where is going our country?

Systematic and airconditioned...good service by most of the staff...but it took me 4 hours for authentication. Only 1 window for 2-9 documents....2 windows for single documents....1 window for priorities...1 window for 10 documents... making more than 10 windows and using only less than half of it is just frustrating.

I renewed my passport in DFA Butuan. I completed it in an hour tops! Had it mailed thru LBC as I am based in Manila and received it as scheduled. Good job DFA Butuan! Keep it up....

Why are you guys allowing those agencies to book all the slots? How about those people who only have enough money to get their own passport? What's the use of your online appointment system when you're just blocking all of them to those agencies? To get more money from them? Coz we all know that you guys will get some commission. I have tried several times to make an online booking. Today, I tried for several hours. I have checked all my computer settings and yet I can barely get past one part of the process without being told that the site cannot be reached or there's a network timeout or some sort of other issue with the firewall. A while ago, I got as far as the second to the last step then when I clicked 'next', I got the dreaded 'site cannot be reached' screen again. Now, I the system is not even generating a recapcha challenge and yet it keeps asking me to complete a task they don't have. I still cannot complete my application. This on-line appointment scheduling needs improvement and there should at least be a 24-hr hotline we can call for such problems. My passport renewal is getting delayed by months because of this.

I trying your appointment system for days now and its not running good.. it will show "page cannot be reach" and will go back to first page or 1st step if i refresh... whats wrong with your system.. even in 3 am I am trying.. but still the same and ur server said it has too many users? at 3am? 24 hrs busy? before this is ok with the old system but this new contractor makes it worse? please do something about it.. i cant even put 1 star for this site.... :(

Question: I went to an agency to schedule a new passport application and the designated branch is DFA ASEANA and they said that it will take at least 3 weeks for it to be processed but in SM Megamall, it only took 1 week(base from my friend who had his transaction there). Is this correct?

It is the worst system ever, they better bring back the walk in process! I can't select dates after March 2017 onwards since there is no available slot from February. Imagine we are going to wait a few months to obtain a passport when we have scheduled travel in August to the United states. Worst government system.

Online appointment system is useless! Nothing's available for the next 3 months at any branch... unEFFFINGbelievable! Yet when you google it, you'll easily find a lot of people selling appointment slots. This system is obviously serving the scammers and probably the corrupt DFA officials who are in cahoots. It's definitely not serving the common Filipino people. In fact, it is instead an added stress and hardship especially to those who doesn't have the means to buy an appointment from the scammers. Cayetano, do not be blind to this problem! Your fix of opening up more slots a couple of months ago obviously did not work. The same issue exists for the common people. What's worse is that government officials doesn't have to endure the same since they are allowed to walk-in straight (without any appointment) to the VIP section to have their passports processed. If this is the promised "CHANGE" being profess during the campaign period then I feel sorry for the Filipino people.

Courtesy lane mostly used by government employee. If you are a senior, PWD or small children do not go here. Normal people with appointments have shorter queueing time than the "courtesy" lane. Elevators don't work, so PWD that are wheelchair bound that need to get to the 2nd floor for the courtesy lane has to crawl up the stairs. It's more fun that way.

Their website needs tons of improvement!!! It is not user friendly and their site always resets out of the blue, leaving one to retype all the lost info all over again, only to reset again. It is a vicious cycle. Also, I was trying to book my mom online for a passport renewal, only to see later at the bottom of the choices listed, that senior citizens can apply on a walk-in basis. This important info should be viewable right away to avoid the same inconvenience I had. Mr. Duterte should be informed of this nasty DFA online appointment system.

I have a flight in April 1st, and I have not renewed my passport yet and I have an appointment scheduled before, January 23 2018 but I went there on 24th due to academics reason, and they were being rude to me. Sabi pa nila come back when you have a ticket, I have it now March 17, due to my ticket is being processed by a company. I'm a dependent in Saudi, my passport will expire on May 21st, 2018. Is is still available that I can avail for renewal or just an extension of passport. Nakasalalay po buhay ko sa passport ko. Please help.

Fast processing on appointment day at DFA Aseana but the good experience ends there. Delayed releasing and unanswered landline calls ( called YESTERDAY twice, on my 3rd call TODAY and my phone's timer is at 1hour 4mins!). Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews. This is still a Philippine Government Institution and the service will always be at par with that.

Stupid appointment system! You need to wait 3 more months to get another appointment if they dont allow you inside. People cant even edit their name online! Cant even wear slippers inside. Why?! I used to renew my passport wearing slippers and now its not allowed? I had to buy sandals from MOA, but then an issue with my appointment caused me to need to go to NSO then go back again but now DFA is already closed! Part of it is my fault, but you cant even reschedule for another day because there isnt any slot! This service needs to improve! We pay tons of taxes and our economy relies on OFWs and you cant even do us that favor! Edit: So I was able to go back the next day and they allowed entry. It is possible to go back the next day or maybe other days, if there is an issue with your docs when you went on your appointment schedule. Thank goodness!

I renewed my passport and paid for an express delivery of 1,250 pesos to make it rush and paid for 150 so it would be delivered straight to my house. They have mentioned that I shall expect delay on processing. Now, 2 weeks have passed and my passport is still not yet delivered. Supposed to be Dec 8 to 10 is the delivery. If it is delay it shouldnt take this too long!

According to the office, PWDs that has an obvious physical disability can avail of the courtesy lane at once yet the staffs still require a PWD ID. Please check. It's not easy to get a PWD ID at once.

i cannot give even 1 star for DFA manila, after providing a authorization letter for my Brother in law to claim my authenticated document, at last he was asked to provide an SPA, its very hard for an OFW to provide SPA as we need to go to a nearest embassy, what if I'm in the middle of the desert? I pay for it and went through a long process and on the time of release they will ask for an SPA to the fact that TESDA already gave the claim stab under my brother in law name. I don't get it.. Money matter i guess!!!!

For OFW renewal of passport, go to Gate 4 just tell the guard. With in 30 minutes you can finished your transaction. The released of renewed passport will be 7 to 10 days after your transaction. Please be reminded that you don't avail o buy anything from the outside except for ballpen i you don't have. Another suggestion is avail the door to door delivery system of DFA if you are coming from distant places.

Website is not optimal and user friendly. Do you accept walk ins for children below 7? Where can I find the application forms for renewal? Trying to reach your office, but nobody is picking up or line is cut off. Other telephone numbers on DFA locations website in Metro Manila is not working either. (Megamall, Robinsons Novaliches, Alabang)

My online application was OK. I got the response and my appointment sked immediately. The only thing I did not like (and could be improved) was that we were required to bring supporting documents (NBI Clearance,Barangay clearance etc.) which were not even checked when we went for our appointment.

DFA-OCA Aseana offers VIP and Courtesy Lane for Senior Citizens/PWDs, Minors, Government Employees (and dependents). Passport processing and service usually takes 1 hour to 1.5 hours to finish. Passports are usually delivered after 8-9 working days upon application for Rush Delivery. There are no food stalls in the compound but there's a small canteen in the 3rd floor (mostly for employees). There's an S&R and fastfood nearby.

your site is not working hello!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've tried countless times to retrieve my appointment code but your site is giving me an error that "appointment code not exist". i've rescheduled my appointment on Jan. 27 due to some conflict with my working schedule, i did all the necessary reservation then after clicking confirm on that day, booom! your system was unreachable... nov. 25 is my original schedule...if you cannot handle this simple kind of service might as well return it to Pilipinas Teleserv Inc..reliable pa sila..
