My husband, granddaughter and I went to see a show at the Brighton centre yesterday. as we were travelling from the New Forest I wanted to make sure we were able to park easily. I therefore booked and PAYED FOR it in advance. We were informed that the car park operated a car rnumber plate recognition system which would recognise our number plate at the exit barrier. However this was not the case and the machine asked us to pay a further £26. My husband pressed the emergency button but it was a long time before it was answered, eventually someone asked for our booking reference no. which we gave him we then had to wait while he checked it. When he eventually confirmed that it was in order the barrier refused to rise, in the meantime drivers behind us were getting very irate and a large number had there hands on their horns, it was so loud that we could not hear what your operator was saying we were stuck there for 15 mins. before the barrier was raised. To add to the inconvenience of the drivers behind us, the car on our left was also stuck and he was still there when we left, leaving only one exit available.

This NCP is really cheap compared to all the other car parks around the city. I really recommend selecting this car park over the others if you can help it!

It's a Car Park Ladies & Gentlemen! Brighton can get very congested and can take ages to Park!!!
If you're able to go by Train, I strongly recommend this!!

Went to Brighton for the first time in a long while, trying to find a car park with spaces free was hard enough especially if you're not familiar with the area, taking wrong turns and going round in circles gets frustrating so when we saw a man stood with a sign saying 'car park this way' we obviously followed, little did we know we was going to end up spending £20 for just over 3 hours! Felt robbed, cost us more than our lunch. Ridiculous pricing and we had to go right to the 17th level to even find a space. Wouldn't recommend this car park, I'd of prefered to drive round another 10 mins to find a cheaper cleaner car park.

Overpriced and unreasonable parking charges! A ridicolous £5 an hour! Staff lured us to turn left to park here where just ahead there was a cheaper place to park. Very tight spaces and very confusing signage to exit.

I actually rate this at no stars. Extortionate charge of £26 for four hours parking....disgusting as it only cost me £7 for 24 hours outside my hotel. Also the smallest spaced bays...ever. We couldn't open the doors to get into our car on return even though the car next to us was within its marked bay. Worst car park in the UK.
