Sometimes service is slow, sometimes it’s fast. The workers like to talk a lot and they sometimes they don’t acknowledge you’re in the store. However they are always willing to help.

Check your items before u leave. A lot of the items have been opened, they try and resell the items again. Some parts are missing. Ensure that the items are not sealed with sellotape as this will already been returned by a previous customer.

After finally being able to buy some weights during lockdown I went to pick it up from this store only to find the minute I came home the barbell screw clamp was broken. Immediately rang this store several times yet no one picked up. Find this difficult to understand when there are so many people working in the back and no customers in the store due to the recent lockdown rules.. So what are they actually doing. When I returned to the store they said they couldn't swap it and I had to go to another store to replace it.. They literally tried to kick the can down the road. When I asked them to check if they had stock first they then said no store has any so I would have wasted my time. What frustrated me the most is how the manager nabellla was unempathetic and had literally no power to do anything even though its no fault of the customer. Most companies are customer centric and empower their staff to give out good service and make things right if they are wrong but not argos... I totally understand why they are having to shut stores. She blamed me for not checking the product wasn't faulty when I picked it up and if I had then she could have refunded it.... Who in the world does that? Someone at head office needs to give nabellla supposedly a manager some customer service training.

Brilliant service I did a big shopping today and Joanne the customer assistant had amazing service skills very polite and friendly women. They had a offer of if you spend 100 pounds you get £10 for your next purchase and I spent near £500 she could have easily just processed the transaction however, she had informed me about this £10 off and said if you split your transactions into 3-4 you would receive this discount and I had received and potentially saved £40. I hope Argos see this and show her that someone appreciated her brilliant service. Thank you again Joanne left with a smile on my face. Really good branch with amazing staff.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and I searched, ordered, paid and received the item in a very short period of time. The price was actually £20 cheaper than when I researched the item on the internet this morning at Amazon. Well done Argos! Parking is free which is a bonus.

I've there last night to buy a TV,and this was the worst experience I have with Argos EVER. Worst organisation around COVID situation, people jumping around the queues, nobody from the staff give a F..k,seller dropping the TV box from about 2 ft before dragging to the till,and when I complain about it he started shouted on me that I did pay yet ,so it's not my TV ....I didn't pay ,so now someone else is going to buy that TV ...good luck to him.

I always find the staff in here helpful and kind. When I visit the wait is not bad at all (generally between 9-11 am). Fast track is my purchase option at all other times even when I order just before leaving my house, my items are ready when I get there and I can honestly say I am in and out in less than 60 seconds as some one always tends to the fast track desk very promptly

Love the new set up. Everything is digital now. You no longer use pen and paper but have to order via terminal then check out at the paypoint. You can collect and pay for Ebay item here

I purchased a king size mattress topper today, costing £150. It wasn't in a substantial polythene zip up bag, as featured in the catalogue, but instead, in a flimsy plastic wrap which had a small hole in it. On opening up the bag and unrolling the mattress, it was badly stained yellow. I took it back to Argos and asked for a new one, in a zipper bag, as featured in the catologue. I explained that the wrapper the initial mattress topper was in, was totally unsuitable to protect such a large, expensive item. I was told by the manager there were none in store but he could order me one from the warehouse to arrive during the evening. It has just been delivered and would you believe it, in another flimsy, plastic wrap! Because I couldn't be bothered with more hassle I accepted it. I unwrapped it from the flimsy (undamaged) plastic wrapper and unrolled the mattress. Hooray, it's not stained yellow! However, I have just spotted A LARGE HOLE IN IT!!!! Extremely poor customer service, Argos. Now, please excuse me, I have to get off my phone and complain to Argos again! Very p****d off !!!!!!

Very short staff. We had two nice attendants in the cashiers with 6 customer in the queue plus customers waiting to collect. Then the staff that stays at te back realize how busy it was and come to help them. Needs more people!

Love Argos, You have to be quick though, in and out, no browsing as you have to be beware if you park to shop for over 3 hours you get a Parking fine of £100, from a company called Parking eye Ltd then you have to spend over 2 hours to get the ticket voided

I was pleasantly surprised by excellent service. Returned faulty Bush portable DVD and bought Lenovo Yoga 10.1 tablet, had already same but small screen and this new one has brilliant sound !!! Lovely Asian Lady served me, she was very professional and charming, shame I didn't get her name. In and out within 10 min. ps. large and clean store, comparing to "Utter rubbish" Argos on Edgware Road W2....always SUPER SLOW service !!!

Very slow service, staff on the shop floor pretending to be assisting customers, whereas no one is at the collection point to hand paid for orders, unless you call someone from the back of the store to help you! Where are the staff? There's long queues but only one till open, we had to leave after waiting 20 minutes also there was a disabled man in front of us who couldn't stand no longer and had to sit down. The reason for long queues is people taking out 12 month credit plans on the till should there be a separate till for this?
