I found the staff at Satnav Systems extremely professional and courteous both on the phone and in person. Due to the current lockdown situation, it wasn’t an easy task for them to arrange a suitable appointment or location, but they persevered.
I arrived 20 minutes late for my 12:30pm (very unusual for me) but this didn’t seem to be a problem for the team which really put me at ease.
A gazebo was erected a few metres away from their workshop for my comfort, and I was offered a hot drink. (Much appreciated as the outside temperature was just slightly above zero)
The end result of their work was amazing.
My car was returned looking exactly the same as it did when I arrived. The only difference being, my car had now been fitted with heated seats, Incredible!
Satnav Systems had performed such a marvellous job and left absolutely no trace of the labour that had obviously been involved.
Since the seats have been installed, I have continuously used this new added feature, which I would without doubt recommend to any driver.

So for anyone who has seen the DAB Tuner disappear from your Audi MMI, these are the guys to talk to. This is a common problem, yet the stock answer from Audi is that your unit has failed, and you'll need a new one (which will run to £4K depending on age / model). This is just wrong!
The chaps at SatNav systems sorted my 2013 Audi A3 Saloon out in less than an hour.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ben - who took my booking. He promptly explained what would happen - brought me a bench outside to sit on - and popped the car into the workshop.
Fifteen minutes later I had a diagnosis, the firmware was corrupt (the last update was by an Audi Dealership) and it could be sorted immediately. After a further 40 minutes, Ben drove the car back out and DAB / Planet Rock was back again.
I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of this Company, and thoroughly recommend them in lieu of a very expensive trip to an Audi Dealership.

Found these guys via a search when my VW media unit touchscreen went faulty. VW wanted to charge me a fortune to replace it.
SatNav Systems suggested trying to repair it but after giving a repair a go, it didn’t solve the problem completely so we opted to replace it (for a much more reasonable price than VW).
I would def recommend these guys. Excellent communication, always really helpful and really quick turnaround times. Excellent!

Thoroughly excellent service. The infotainment unit on my Octavia vRS had an intermittent fault that they traced back to a problem with the motherboard. The Skoda dealer could only offer to trade the unit in for a new replacement at a cost of more than twice the amount charged by Sat Nav Systems. Hamid was extremely polite and took considerable time to investigate and explain what was going on. I definitely recommend this company.

We had a problem with the RNS-510 media system in our 4 year old VW Scirocco. I saw a helpful U-Tube video from them showing how to effect a soft reboot and a factory re-set both of which I did but it did not resolve the problem which continued. I contacted Satnav Systems (UK) Ltd and they immediately replied and we agreed a time and date for them to book the car in with them. They recommended a complete format of the hard drive and reloading of current software which they did in 90 minutes at a cost of £150 plus VAT and so far everything is working fine. I am very please with the professional and courteous service provided by them and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Sent faulty VW RNS-510 Satnav radio which had stopped working. Unit was diagnosed, repaired, tested and returned by courier within a week at a fraction of the cost quoted by my local VW dealership (who basically said it was 'faulty' and would need replaced with a new unit from Germany). Full functionality has been restored. Satnav map data was helpfully upgraded whilst my existing hard drive music and saved navigation data was retained.

We travelled from the Midlands to SatNav Systems to have the Infotainment system on my wifes VW Polo fixed. The Infotainment screen for months had been problamatic - kept freezing, was operating without being prompted and generally wasnt functioning as it should.
We contacted Satnav Systems as our local main dealer quoted an extortionate figure to have the Infotainment screen replaced. Our interactions with Hamid from initial contact really did impress. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and was able to provide us with a diagnosis and costs (at a far reduced rate than the Main Dealer').
Today we made the journey to Satnav and had the works carried out with the Infotainment fixed in less than 2 hours. Satnav have a very slick set-up - very customer focussed. We really appreciated the time Hamid spent with us today and the valuable after sales advice imparted. Well worth the journey up as we now have a fully functioning Infotainment system.

On arrival the fault was fixed and updates to maps and speed cameras installed. I was also given valuable advice on using the RNS 510. I was really impressed with this company and their approach. I would definitely make the long journey again for further issues or installations

I really can't recommend these people enough.
With a VW Discover Media satnav in my beloved T6 campervan that was malfunctioning and getting worse, it was time to do something about it. But who to trust?
A Google search revealed several companies closer to home but what attracted me to Satnav Systems was their offer of free diagnostics with no obligation. That seemed a good starting place and would allow me to think about options without jumping on an expensive slippery slope.
Satnav Systems diagnostics proved to be much more than my VW Vancentre's simple reboot (which I could do for myself - Google it). They had the whole unit out of my van and on their bench hooked up to their kit. I don't know what they did exactly but it took them nearly an hour to exhaust the possibility of a simple fix.
It was bad news: I had a defective screen (a known problem - "phantom fingers") but a fault with the board beneath it which made part of the screen unresponsive to my (real) finger presses.
The chap who gave me the bad news was very helpful and answered all my questions knowledgeably and convincingly. Ultimately, he gave me several options. One was to walk away; I'd incurred no charge to this point. I could have had fixes or a reconditioned replacement or a brand new unit - each with their own level of warranty.
In the end I went for the new replacement, assured that it was a full UK-spec, legitimate, VW-approved model which would be updated and registered on VW's system in Germany. The price was well over £1000 less than VW quoted and it came with a full 2-year warranty. For no additional charge, the technician reconfigured my speaker connections to give me full left/right and front/back fader control and configured the new unit to manage them. Satnav Systems have access to the unit's internal configuration in a way that my campervan converter does not, so were able to improve my sound controls considerably.
Satnav Systems ensured that all software and maps were fully up-to-date before they put it back in my van. It goes without saying that there were no chips or scratches on my dashboard whatsoever. My memory cards and phone dongle were moved to the new unit and worked perfectly.
When I got home, I saw an email from VW - who were now aware of the change - giving me instructions to transfer my Car-net subscription over to my new unit. It worked flawlessly.
Yes, a brand new unit was bloomin' expensive and the most pricey choice I could have made. But my experience with Satnav Systems was pretty flawless. They were not pushy at all and REALLY know what they're talking about.
I've no connection with Satnav Systems and had never heard of them before my initial Google search. Hopefully, I won't need them again but if I do, I know I'll get a very professional honest service.

I have got a 2015 VW Passat B8. christmas 2019 the tuner went, the whole system didn't work, kept turning itself off. After trying every stereo shop and radio specialist, no one was able to help me. Off chance i got recommended sat nav systems in Richmond who specialise in VW stereos. I got diagnostic free of charge there and then they came to a conclusion that the mother board was gone. They repaired this within an hour and a half of me sitting and waiting, very pleased with the outcome, i would like to say thank you to Adam Szreder from sat nav systems and his crew.

I was looking for a local recommended company to fit a westfalia detachable tow bar to our VW California. I am glad a fellow owner pointed me in Satnav Systems direction.
From the moment of receiving the quote from Adam (who also dealt with me on the day of fitting) to collection I was treated very professionally.
I suspect that I will be back again to have some more upgrade gadgets fitted soon!
I should also add that they make a great coffee!
