They do not giving a flying you-know-what about their customers who order parcels. Never order anything online, Amazon or otherwise, if it will be delivered by Royal Mail. An attempt to be more constructive: It's 2020. Learn to leave mail on people's doorsteps and with their neighbors. Otherwise, you will mess up their entire day as they wait for the 1 second interval when the infinitely benevolent delivery person deigns to ring their doorbell (if they are lucky). Give a specific time when the package will arrive - not some insane legalese that says "Well it could be this time...or that time...or anytime, really..." Build a call-in system where you can reach a live person and where the voice recognition actually works. Learn to track your mail like a courier company created after 1950. "24 hours" in English should mean "24 hours." Or just follow the first of these suggestions only??? What a scam.

No major issues with this place, sometimes a bit slow but that's to be expected. Could do with some air conditioning in the summer though. Gets very stuffy.

Royal Mail, despite the huge number of customers they serve, still keeps the same crunchy customer delivery outlet we've know for years. The result is the long queues of customers who have come to retrieve their undelivered mails. There are two or three staff manning this this 'office'; which is the reason for the queues.

Credit where credit due, these guys get somewhat of a rough time from the general public. Yes we missed our delivery and yes we had to get here to collect it and yes its busy and no its not Brexits fault but these guys are here to help and make us reconnect with our parcel or letter. Give them a smile and a thank you and your day will be much more positive!

This is the fifth time this happens to us and I feel that my shoe is full. My job is quite flexible and I can work from home and interestingly even on the days when I am at home I get messages that sorry we could not deliver your parcel as you weren’t home. Once, we saw the post car parking in front of our block and without getting out of the car the text just came. I feel it is really annoying as every time we need to go to Bermondsey to collect our post which is nearly an hour from us. I do not know how amazon does that they can leave the parcel at a safe space even if we are not at home.. why is it that difficult if we are sitting at home??

4 different parcels lost by August in this delivery centre, including very sensitive documents. Guy at the counter very unhelpful, he could not be bothered to check if there is anything laying around or speak to anyone. There is no way to track the items down. No one take any responsibility.

Very busy, but if you have the correct attitude and paper work the staff are super helpful, check what you need to bring with you before you go. I had no issues, the line is always very long but it's been that way forever

Even before she checked to see if my parceled Was there she try to tell me that I’m in the wrong pick up location, despite the Royal Mail drop off card telling me to come to this location. I know you must hate you job, but at least try and do it properly. If you can’t then quit

The most useless RM center in the land. No one here cares about you, your problems or about anything in general. This is where you will experience the worst customer service you can think of. Whatever their screw-up the only help they will offer you is to give you the number for the complaint department, knowing full well that no one there will do anything about any complaint you might have.

Larger pick up point with queuing facilities, can be very busy during peak time, with only two counters open can get very frustrating. Counter staff was very polite and helpful but under pressure. Very little parking of any kind.

I imagine you get pretty much the same soul-destroying experience if you get sent to prison. Except there are probably more staff in a prison, and the wait is probably shorter. I think they take pleasure in delivering shocking customer service. Parcels thrown across the counter, and publicly shaming people who don't speak English as a first language, plus staff accents that an EastEnders casting agent would ask you to tone down. Helping people requires a service ethic, if they're helping at this office, its with the softness of a brick!

Twice I've tried to get items redelivered, and both times it's failed. The first, the item was never redelivered at all. The second, the item was "being prepared for redelivery" and was then lost... INSIDE the sorting office.

Very rude staff. I arrived on a Saturday at 14:01, there was a female staff member with short hair at the door and I explained that I had came in a taxi and unfortunately caught traffic on the way and her responde was "I dont care, we close at 2pm", although there was still lots of people inside. I dont normally leave reviews, but the way she spoken to me was extremely rude. Another person arrived just right after me and the rude lady didnt even bother to open the door and explain that it closes at 2pm. This same person said that the staff at this branch is known to be rude. I will avoid this Royal Mail office from now on.

I visited this office for a important missing letter. The staff was very rude and unhelpful, he refused to admit it was their fault and the problem was not resolved in the end. This missing letters made me lost about 500 pounds. Extremely disappointed experience, the Royal Mail was not loyal at all.

Went to return something to Amazon, the lady said they didn't have any return labels, so had to return causing a lot of inconvenience. Need to stock labels at all times or be clear on when these come in before the customer visits the branch.

Is this a joke? Is this some kind of MI5 initiation test? Why is there no address associated with this? How am I supposed to find it? I have been waiting for a delivery from Australia to arrive. Tracking said it was waiting for me at Southwark DO. I google Southwark DO and still have no idea where it is. Does it even exist? Who knows? I've called the helpline and it was just an answering machine who told me the address should be on the 'sorry we missed you' card. There is no 'sorry we missed you' card because I have to pay the customs fee when I pick it up. I'm completely at a loss as to how to find this place.

Friendly staff, they will do everything they can do fulfill your demands. Been there a couple of times, and the queue can get really big during the weekend. Would recommend to go there early (7:30 ~ 8:00am) before work during the week if you can, as there is almost no queue at this time.

People are actually very nice and helpful and it is not their fault if there are not enough of them. Therefore I would say: staff is great, and do the best they can. and overall it's pretty decent !

Horrendous experience, and that's every time I've gone. Queues are a joke, staff have lost the will to live and if they cant locate your parcel within a few minutes they will tell you to come back later!! that's after you've been waiting 50mins in the queue. If you work and the only time you can attend is eve and weekends, you will be best having your parcel sent to a local post office and paying the 70p.

Staff are rude and not very helpful. It's better to use a collect plus service and get you parcels delivered to a convenience store. If you ever use a short version of your name (Chris = Christopher) forget about collecting your parcel, they will tell you it's not your parcel because of insufficient I.D. This is so fraustrating! Had to send my parcel back to the shop and re-order with full name. Wasted 2 weeks!!

I'm giving 1 for not giving 0, I don't normally send things by post but when I try to call them a machine is not giving me an answer, all the people are busy or never answer... My experience is that when I need an urgent letter, it keeps there since 20th of October 16 days now and still waiting... It's a disaster of services given....

Opening hours are not very helpful for those who work full time 08:00-12:30 Mon-Friday. 08:00 - 12:00 Sat. The impression from the member of staff who served me was that as a client, I was stopping her doing the important things she should have been doing.

Good little depot if you live as close as I do, as I can have a look at how long the queue is and decide if it's worth waiting. Sadly the staff are pretty useless.
