I was quoted 3 hours for a car wash which I think is what they say when they're not in the mood to do any work. When I came back after an hour they were twiddling their thumbs What a useless company taking up space in the car park.

One of the worst car washes I been to. The guy first started using spray and cloth to clean my car when I said why don’t you use proper water or jet wash he replied that’s how we wash our cars what a joke. Will never ever return here again and the guy was extremely rude when I called to ask for the location over the phone. Avoid this car wash no wonder they have so many bad reviews so many unhappy customers. And the prices are rip off too.

First time trying this car wash paid the double of what I pay in any other car wash, hoping for a much better service.
A lot of parts of interiors were left dusty and unclean. The seats were barely vacuumed.
The rims’s small carvings and shapes were left dirty. Passenger window completely left as it was then I had to redo it afterwards.
To be very honest, I had a car for long enough to say that they are really the worst car wash service I had ever in London. £30 for basic inside-out clean/wash is too much!
Check out Asda Wembley car wash, much better service for less!

Clean was fine, but their time keeping is pretty bad. Got there early and there were only around 4 cars already there, so very quiet. They said they only needed an hour; came back after 1:40 and they were still going and I had to wait - Obviously hadn’t started cleaning in the order the cars arrived. The clean was good, well-polished even on the basic service, but if they fix their timekeeping it’d be 5 stars

OK I’ve been a long time user of American Car Wash in Brent X on Level 2 and the service I’ve received has always consistently been good if a little on the high price side - don’t mind paying for a good job so price not the key issue, quality of service is. Brent X also very convenient for me.I usually have either and external only wash n wax or upgrade it to internal clean too when required. Until recently the car was spotlessly cleaned, waxed and vacuumed with no faults. However on the last time I had my usual internal and external I did notice that a few small area missed when I later checked - eg the boot rim was always wiped inside previously and last time it wasn’t. No biggie I let it slide for one time but if repeated I would have brought it up. Today I called into Brent Cross at just before 10am and there were two staff members there - one seemed to have no understanding of English and the other very limited and the usual highly efficient guys nowhere to be seen. No offence to both these people a youngish girl and a older man but is it really wise and good for your business reputation and also fair to these guys to have someone with very limited English understanding “manning the fort” with the manager nowhere to be seen. The only reason I visited Brent X this morning was to get the car washed and I really was not happy with the prospect leaving my car in the hands of someone who I wasnt confident could understand what I was asking for. All she could seem to do is smile and shrug when I asked her anything other than the type of wash on the board - I wasn’t even confident that she knew the difference between the types of service. Now that may be a little unfair to her but that’s the overall impression I got from the experience. On previously experience I’d rate a consistent 5 star but recent experience had led me to downgrade that overall. It’s always a shame to see a good service go bad - I drove away from Brent X today and found another hand car wash place who have just completed a thorough clean, wax and polish of my car both inside and out as well as internal vacuum. They’ve done it in half the time American Carwash did it and for two thirds the price. Won’t be coming back until previous high standards return.

Sure, the car was clean when I came back, and it was done by the time I returned, unlike some of the other reviews. However, the battery was completely, utterly dead and I had to wait for a breakdown van to come. The car wash guy denied any responsibility but as he had asked me to leave the car without the keys and with the door open, clearly they just left it like that for a couple of hours. Would not recommend.

I read some negative reviews so I thought it worth my while giving a different view of the company. I had only an hour in Brent Cross. I went to the branch inside the car park on floor two. The lady in charge there was at full stretch because it was Sunday and very busy but she said she’d try her best to get it done. When I came out to the car park an hour later they had managed to clean the car and I found a young man giving the car a double check to make sure it was the job was good. I thought I’d write this review because I saw them trying their hardest to do a good job, and for trying hard to meet my schedule and that’s all one can ask. My car looks new again and I appreciated that the young man (I think his name was Stefan) was doing a quality check. He seemed a man who took pride in the work he had done.

Was not impressed at all. Went for the £34.95 service of washing on the outside and a vacuum on the inside. I have Ford S-Max so to allow them access to all interior I opened all the seats. Unfortunately, they didn't even touch the floor in front of the rear seats. Also, the driver side mirror is now scratched, I can still see spiderwebs on the cover and once out in the light I noticed the bird mess hadn't been properly cleaned on the roof?
The attitude didn't seem right either: When returning to my car (parked right at the end) the guy saw me and said "it's done, cash or card?" before I even reached the car. When I told him how I wanted to pay he pointed back to where I'd come from and said "Card payment that way". My wife was following behind with the kids and was going to pay anyway, but to tell me to pay without actually seeing the car first was quite rude.
Maybe our poor old S-Max wasn't worthy of same treatment of the other 2018 reg SUVs and other luxury vehicles they were cleaning, maybe the rich folk are good tippers and they saw us working class folk coming a mile away and thinking we didn't care about the car so why should they, I won't judge. But we are frequent visitors to Brent Cross Shopping and thought we'd finally give these guys a try. Alas, I'll be taking my hard earned working class money (and beloved S-Max) somewhere else next time, or doing it myself.

So, this morning I went to Brent Cross car wash, I left my car there and asked the person in charge how long is going to take to clean it? He said 2 hours, coming back after 2 hours the car was not washed. All the others were washed. Not to mention that I was the first to arrive there. He was like, please give me 30 minute and I will do it, man, you had 2 hours and you couldn't bother doing it...and is not the smallest car to only take 30 minutes inside out. So disappointed.

I didn't want the full wax and polish so was told "we will try and get it clean" there was no effort at all. Didn't even bother to wash the roof, only the edges.
The internal clean was awful. Again I didn't want the polish so they didn't make any effort.
The vehicle is cleaned every week at one of the three Polish car wash companies near us. I will have to take it to get it done properly.
Its half the price and they do a great job inside and out.

I used to use the American Car Wash all the time going back a few years. The service and quality slowly got worse and worse. I tried them again today to see how they now perform. The problem with the service was down to the man in charge and his attitude was poor. Constant attempts to up-sell when it clearly is not necessary are very irritating. The actual wash was very good. Very expensive for what you get especially the more costly packages. You are better off getting a mobile valeting service come to your home for the same money as the mid range wash and vac and you will get a much better result. My recommendation is don't bother you can do better.

I highly recommend the American car wash in KILBURN, I went to the BRENT CROSS one and after 2 hours they returned my car FULL OF DIRTS. I had to ask them the vacuum and do it myself. Also, they weren’t really welcoming.
On the other side American car wash in KILBURN was so welcoming, everyone was smiling (I was there around 9-9:30am). I was welcomed by a nice lady and an amusing team. The outside car cleaning was efficient and quick, the inside cleaning aswell. They took maximum 30 minutes (I think), so I didn’t wait for long.
When they finished, a man came and asked if everything was ok. HE double checked my car, noticed a small dirts and cleaned it with a smile (HE had a red jacket) .
ANYWAY this fast, well organized and welcoming team made my day. :)

Not even worthy of one star! Car still dirty they are a complete rip off and we seem to have scratches. Do not waste your money.. There's even bird poop still left on the windscreen not what you expect for £37.50

Real attitude problem with these people. As soon as I pulled up and asked for outside wash, the guy was extremely rude, was told I had to wait 1 hour. Not a problem, I'll do some shopping in Brent cross.
Came back after an hour to pick up car, saw quite a few water lines and spots down the passenger side so I asked if they could wipe it off, you'd have thought I asked them to kiss my ass with the attitude they gave back.
Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Back in Spring, I did a full wash with them, I was quite impressed until I got home and released they stole my son’s jacket. I called and enquired, I felt sorry for the owner he obviously new that “ it did happen” but of course the person cleaned the car denied ever seeing it.... be careful of your belongings!!

Very sceptical about how they don't use a jet wash. Chanced it and it looked decent but you're better off doing it yourself. They didn't clean one wing mirror glass. Who knows what those 'autoglym' chemicals are doing to your paintwork and plastic trims. Noticed a load of swirl marks on the bonnet after getting the car outside in the daylight. Likely won't be using again.

First car wash two months ago was great (mini valet), second wash a month ago was terrible - kept trying to upsell, inside not properly cleaned and chemicals on some windows and wheels not washed off. Today I thought I'd give it one more go, the service was rude and all focussed on upselling, I didn't bother with the clean and will never go again.

Far from impressed. I wanted a basic wash inside and out. The member of staff that I spoke to was on the upsell from the start. He constantly repeated that they don't use water, only chemicals and it was unlikely the wash I was requesting would be satisfactory.
Now to be fair it had been a month at least since I washed my car however, it's not like I had been driving through mudfields everyday.
It got to the point when I told him how much I would be paying and what I expected then walked away. The finish was less than average. I won't bother with any American Carwash again.

Worst car wash i`ve ever been to . I would give it less than one star if i could....22£ for inside and out , asked me to come back in 2 hours AT LEAST and when i came back they were all gone , front lights and bumper not event touched, wheels were wiped with a dry cloth only and the interior was a mess, they didn`t even touched the air vents .

Not bad but iv had better for the price, plus the waiting times are ridicules sometimes, they made me wait 3-4 hours for a mini valet which usually takes around an hour. And that was during a week day in the morning when the shopping centre was dead!
