ATN Cars provide airport transfer services to students at University of the Arts London. Our university student transfer service is popular among international students and parents alike due to the student discount , covid-safe, efficient and reliable private taxi transfer services we offer. It is easy to pick up and drop off passengers at the student residence hall.  Students have said good things about their experience at this university.

I'm disappointed by the services and support provided by LCC. The acceptance rate of UAL seems strange to me because I believe there are more students than UAL can provide services for. There were over 100 students in my class compared to a class of 30 on a painting course at Camberwell. 100 LCC students (over 3 year groups) had to share one studio space, meanwhile Camberwell students had their own dedicated spaces in their studio. During the lockdown the tutor contact period was ridiculous- 5 minutes of 1 to 1 tutor time per week for a third year student was all we had. Not to mention the fact that we didn't have access to the university itself. If you go to LCC, don't be surprised if you find yourself doing your whole degree alone. I'm only writing a review because my course friends are too jaded by the situation to do so

Took their make up short course in summer. The university's management is poor and staff are not well trained and under qualified. Good teachers are few and don't stay long. Do not recommend if you are looking for a good quality of teaching. Some of their instructors are high school dropouts or graduates who have done/assisted in art work for few years then come here to teach. You may have ill mannered "professionals" teaching you. Very low standard recruitment of instructors. Tuition is very high.

This company designed the media course which many colleges around England use. It's ironic because you can get a qualification in media without knowing how to use a camera. No joke.

I have decided to study abroad about 3 years ago, and I do not regret it. The UAL is such a great university, amazing team of teachers and technicians. Would highly recommend it.

Some style, some substance... not a lot of both. A lot of people attend here and come out very disillusioned by both higher education and the fashion industry. Sadly teaching on fashion managment courses is inconsistent; some is very good and makes you think you made the right choice, many are poor and the lack of strong consistent teaching can affect not only standard of education (not a course you can fully self-teach through literature) but severely impact student satisfaction. Believe the low student satisfaction ratings! Staff are also very political and it is clear to students that many actions are only for strategic gain. On the upside it is a creative environment based in a wonderful city

A very bad student service, just trying to scam money from student, very bad experience of studying here. Tutors just read the slides. The school allow tutor to BRIBE, ignore student needs.

The university has its origins in seven previously independent art, design, fashion and media colleges, which were brought together for administrative purposes to form the London Institute in 1986.[5] They were: Saint Martin's School of Art; Chelsea School of Art; the London College of Printing; the Central School of Art and Design; Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts; the College for Distributive Trades; and the London College of Fashion.[6] The colleges were originally established from the mid 19th century to the early 20th century. Under the Education Reform Act 1988, the London Institute became a single legal entity, and the first court of governors were instated the following year in 1989. The first appointed Rector was John McKenzie. The London Institute was incorporated as a higher education body in 1991 and was later granted academic degree awarding powers in 1993 by the Privy Council. Will Wyatt was appointed Chairman of Governors in 2000. Sir William Stubbs was appointed the second Rector after the retirement of McKenzie in 1996. A coat of arms was granted to the London Institute in 1998. Lord Stevenson was appointed the first chancellor in 2000. On the retirement of Sir William Stubbs, Sir Michael Bichard was appointed as Rector in 2001 and encouraged the London Institute to apply for university status. The London Institute originally chose not to apply because its individual colleges were internationally recognised in their own right.[7] In 2003, the London Institute received Privy Council approval for university status and was renamed University of the Arts London in 2004.[8] Wimbledon School of Art joined the university as a sixth college in 2006, and was renamed Wimbledon College of Art. Sir John Tusa was appointed as the new Chairman, replacing Will Wyatt, in 2007. Nigel Carrington was appointed rector in 2008, replacing Sir Michael Bichard.[9] From 2008 to 2010, staff were made redundant and courses closed. At the London College of Communication, where 16 of the 19 courses were discontinued in 2009, staff resigned and students demonstrated and staged a sit-in in protest at the cuts in budget and staff numbers.[10][11] Central Saint Martins moved to a purpose-built complex in King's Cross in June 2011.[12][13] In 2015 Grayson Perry was appointed to succeed Kwame Kwei-Armah as chancellor of the university.
