Have recently had several repairs/alterations carried out by Linda and she has made a fantastic job of them all at a very reasonable cost . So knowledgable obliging and friendly . Highly recommend !

Had my jacket repaired on the spot, not only that, but Linda also checked the other pocket and reinforced it there and then too! All this for a very small fee. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this business. There's also a nice selection of handbags, I'll certainly be back ????! Thank you.

Linda at It's Sew Easy is a gift to East Fife! She did a fantastic job altering my daughter's wedding dress in September last year and has since effectively remade two dresses for me, both of which I'd 'outgrown' - ie, had put on too much weight to wear. One of them was made of shot silk and was not a straightforward job, but I now have two dresses I've always loved and can wear again. She is incredibly efficient and competent and I am very grateful! I can't recommend her highly enough - AND her prices are very reasonable. Don't waste time going anywhere else.

Excellent for getting curtains or cushion covers , we got our curtains hemmed up and cushion covers made for our caravan she has made such an excellent job so talented , inexpensive, she takes on loads of different sewing projects , we give her full 5 stars 10, we would give her she does that an excellent job . My name is Jan Johnson. I live in Dunfermline and my hobby is walking. Over the years I have had occasion to visit this shop several times which is no mean feat as it is quite some distance from where I live. I first came across the shop several years ago whilst on holiday in the East Neuk when I was travelling with the minimum of clothing and needed an urgent repair. I have several pairs of expensive walking trousers which unfortunately are no longer made and I am unable to buy replacements. Because of the regular stresses these are subjected to, I sometimes have occasion to need the numerous zips/buttons/pockets repaired or replaced. Usually the replacements are of better quality than the original. On one occasion when I needed an urgent repair the owner performed a same day service whilst I had a cup of tea around the corner. On other occasions I have left my garments and collected them a week or so later. My husband also uses this shop and I recollect that he had a fleece jacket with a very unusual zip which he could not use because it was broken and the owner was able to replace this in consequence of which he got an extra two years of wear out of it. There was also an occasion where I considered an alteration which the owner felt would be expensive and unnecessary and although she could have made a lot of money she was honest with me that the alteration wasn't essential and saved me money as a result. The reason I am writing this review is that one of my pairs of walking trousers has a problem with the press stud fastening which keeps coming loose. This has subjected the zip to stress in consequence of which it has come apart. Some of the pocket velcro also needs replacing. My first thought was to check if the shop still operating so I can bring the trousers in for repair. Yes, we have repair shops similar to this in Dunfermline but I don't think that they offer quite the same level of service. I have been absolutely horrified to read some of the reviews here which I am quite sure must have been fabricated. I want to assure everyone that I would not spend the petrol money travelling to Cupar unless the service was absolutely second to none. I have gone into some detail about the alterations that have been carried out because I wanted the reader to be in no doubt that I am a very happy repeat customer and would have no hesitation in recommending this service.
