Quick and accurate service. Valentino knows what he's doing and helped me out a lot when I was doing a second measurement for a suit. First measurement was done 8 months ago, the second "finishing touches" one being delayed due to the lockdown. Good materials are needed but good tailoring is a must. Recommended.

After a mixup at the shop, Valentino came personally to let out the waist on my suit trousers. Right before lockdown and saving me a 2 hour round trip to pick them up. Quick, charming and professional service. Class all the way. Will be coming back for all my alterations.

Had a nightmare with the bridesmaid top that my friend had tailor made for me... couldn’t even get it over my head! Valentino was great and despite it needing re-sewing a few times he was really patient and made sure it was well fitted. Got it sorted within a few days plus price really reasonable. Would definitely recommend as it is easily accessible in a central location too

Really terrible!! I bought a Ted Baker wedding dress and they recommended I go to this tailor as they normally use them for the men's suits. I'm not convinced the tailors know what they're doing... I wanted a simple shortening of my dress and taking in on the sides of the bust... this ended up costing £85 which is extortionate. You can't even argue the price because 1. there's no price list anywhere so they just make it up on the spot and 2. you have to pay them in cash only - which is just not right! The length shortening was not done correctly because they don't account for women having hips and hence the sides of the dress shouldn't be cut the same length as the rest... goes without saying that the sides of my dress are now too short! They also lost some beading from the dress which they preceded to tell me it was my fault when I brought them the dress new from the shop. They were eventually found and sowed back on. Before I had even tried my dress on they were pushing me to give them a good review... goes to show that this is all they care about and not actually delivering a good service.

LQ Tailoring are a professional, courteous and efficient tailors. They have completed a number of alterations for me including widening jackets and waistcoats, tapering jacket sleeves and trousers, shortening sleeves and hems, and weaving in satin saddles and half-moon reinforcements. They also repaired a suit that had suffered some more severe damage. I highly recommend Valentino and his colleagues at LQ.

I could not have had a better experience at LQ. It took a little while to figure out where it was (through a white door with a buzzer then up stairs) but the alterations were perfect and the price was fair. I needed same-day alterations and they did it in two hours which was unreal. Back home it takes a week. Highly recommended.

I came in on an extremely short notice with the urgent need to adjust the fitting of my suit. Valentino, the owner, and his friendly staff welcomed me in and proceeded to take measurements. With respect to my urgency, my suit was made to fit perfectly to my body within the hour, to a professional degree I have not seen before. I highly recommend fittings with Valentino and his team and recommend the adjustable waist bands. It gives a clean and unique look which can only be done by professionals. Great service and done an amazing job on both occasions . Brought a bridesmaid dress to be shortened and a maxi dress to be taken in and they were perfect. They didn’t rush me at all when pinning the dress as I was abit in decided on what length to have. They even completed the work quicker than they stated so was able to collect sooner . Would go to them for all my alterations and recommend .

Had a great experience at LQ Tailoring. Good central location. Went there to get two bridesmaid dresses altered and they were very friendly and helpful. My bridesmaids and I were very happy with the results and now the dresses are perfect for the wedding day.
