Our new website went live today and it's absolutely awesome.
The team at The yardstick Agency and especially Robyn, have pulled out all the stops to understand us as a business and our proposition. Although she joined the project mid way through, Robyn was great at taking the mumbled jumbled ideas in my head and turning them into something beautiful for all to see. Nothing was too much trouble and all our edits were taken on board and implemented in superb fashion. I can't wait to show off the new site to the big wide world. I'm currently going through the Ignition Marketing process with Phil at Yardstick. The initial conversation was challenging but inspiring. The books that Phil recommended show what can be achieved when you 'Show your work' on blog posts/social media, and how you can become 'Oversubscribed' with the right marketing mix.
Phil doesn't mince his words, and says it how he sees it, which was exactly what I wanted.
He has already formulated a high level marketing plan for my company which I know will involve a lot of work on my part. However, it is structured so that it is clear what needs to be done when, and who is going to do it.
For those, like me, who know little about marketing, the Ignition Marketing day with Yardstick is an ideal starting point. I look forward to reaping the rewards of Phil, and his team's, expertise in the coming months, and would highly recommend this service.

My business - Sovereign IFA Ltd - has been working with Phil Bray and his team at Yardstick for over 2 years. We initially engaged them to refresh our website and give our marketing activity a bit more focus.
What they actually came up with was a strategic marketing plan which helped us to identify our key client types and methods for engaging with each client segment. The main thrust of which was a fantastic new website which almost immediately began to generate more enquiries than we have ever received from a website in the past.
They have also supported us with social media campaigns and have produced some excellent marketing collateral including client brochures.
On an ongoing basis the team produces bespoke content for our monthly newsletter with articles designed to attract the attention of our target markets. We frequently receive enquiries from prospects who have read some of these articles and have been motivated to contact us.

I have really enjoyed working with The Yardstick Agency. I started off with a review of my marketing with Phil, identifying what I wanted from my business and how I could get there. I was given clear objectives for what I needed to do and how I could do it to increase my client base, with lots of actionable points for me to implement, such as tips for writing my newsletter. I was given options for what they could help me with and what I could do myself.
Now I have moved on to getting a brand new website, which is super exciting. Clare called me last week and we had a brilliant conversation where she got to really understand who I am, what clients I would like to get and how I want my personality to come out on the site. Having followed the work Phil and his team have been doing over the last couple of years, I have been left with nothing but praise for what they do for our profession. The newsletter looks fantastic – very professional , branding to a very high quality and the content is perfect. I have also arranged for you guys to post weekly on Linkedin and again I have been really impressed with this service and format.
The day after the first newsletter, I received an e-mail from and existing client regarding one of the articles where they had identified a new need. Following a conversation with the client they have accepted the advice to cover this need which is great for them and also this has paid for the first years costs of the newsletter.
