My advice to any business is if you are not prepared to put 6 months into local Insights ..then don't bother .. David is the account manager who looks after my company , he is really credible professional and his knowledge is outstanding . Have been with Local Insights for about a year now and there service has been fantastic! The benefits take a few months to kick in which is expected with this line of service but since then, we have had a steady stream of customers finding our Google listing and contacting us to use our Services. We have started off using Local Insights to manage our Stonewoods Google listing but as they have been so brilliant we have also given them the mammoth task to sort out our website's SEO and to look after our social media presence.
I can't praise them enough. The whole team are such a pleasure to work with, they have been very efficient and overall as a business we feel we are in good hands with them. They are very good in explaining what they actually do for you (unlike some cowboys out there who just make you feel you wouldn't understand anyway - to hide the fact that they are doing very little for you for a lot of money). We get comprehensive monthly reports where we can see the numbers going up significantly and the vast amount of new enquiries we get through the web just confirms we really are on the right track. Well done and a big thank you to the whole team.

Dan and his team are incredible. They go out of their way to help you with anything and everything. They have been helping us with our SEO rankings for over 2 years now with only our showcase website, but they have now designed a brilliant eCommerce website for us and we have hit the ground running. It was a pleasure meeting with these guys from local insights.
I'm a small business and I don't really have many clients, so I'm sure you can understand my joy at hearing the cost being £45 for this service.
However, I have knocked off one star for the way I was told about the extra costs. This is not extra, but with business in England, we usually show the total cost, including VAT.
It was only when I went to sign, I realised it was £54. Now I'm no scrooge, but I have to watch my expenditures and I didn't like the way this was hidden until later on. I think it should be compulsory to tell us the full amount Immediately.
Other than that, I am hopeful that this service may gain me some traction for the new year, otherwise I will be cancelling in January.
I have read the negative reviews on here and I am hoping that those situations do not happen to me.
I am happy with the service thus far and am sorry that I couldn't be more positive. I just expected some kind of movement by now. However I will remain positive and this review is not to slander the guys from Google Insights.
They are truly fantastic, just be upfront with the full cost please.

I was told by the sales person who visited me that if I wasn't happy after a month I could cancel my 'subscription' for their service and I wouldn't be charged for the second month and that someone would be in touch with me before then to see if I was happy and wanted to continue.
Local Insights added a couple of categories to my Google listing, tweaked a couple of words in my description and made one post (advertising stock that was already sold out I might add!) and that's it - it was of no benefit to my business at all.
A month goes by and I was charged again, without being contacted. I called them and informed them that I wasn't happy with the service and wanted the second payment refunding. I was told in no uncertain terms that it was too late (as per the small print that was sent in an email AFTER I signed up - so not the original T&Cs I agreed to!) and that I should just suck it up! Naturally this lead to a very heated telephone conversation where the chap on the phone (who's name changed from Ben when he answered to David when I said I wanted to complain about him) who was very unhelpful.
Several times I gave them the opportunity to offer me a refund, even a partial one and on each occasion I was basically told 'Tough luck' and that there was no chance. He just kept referring to the T&C that were sent AFTER they had signed me up, not the one I agreed to!
As this company has been so unhelpful I feel I have no choice but to warn others as I genuinely feel like I have been ripped off and don't wish to see anyone else to be robbed.

Local Insights have been fantastic from day one. Our virtual tour looks amazing and they were very quick on the day, as well as giving us lots of advice on our listing in general. Having this has on Google and on our website has been very well received by clients.
As we were so happy with the service we received we decided to start using them for managing our Google listing, and since they have taken over our views, clicks and calls have all increased as well as our online bookings. Nathan is very easy to talk to and really helpful.

Local Insights give something that's rare these days.
They're personal. They're upfront and HONEST. They're also quick to communicate, very polite and take the time to LISTEN.
It's refreshing to deal directly with humans, not merely bots and script readers.
As the only Auction House (of 80yrs) in the Bournemouth BH1 postcode with a strong reputation in the town, it's imperative that we maintain our word of mouth recommendations. I feel Local Insights have absolutely grasped this.
I've no hesitation in giving Local Insights the highest personal POSITIVE recommendation.

This review is based purely on using the Google My Business Optimiser service provided by Local Insights. On being approached by a sales rep at my shop I decided to join & give this service a go. The rep who visited clearly used a lot of sales jargon which made the service appear incredible, however I saw through that & wanted to try anyway. A lot of people would have been wowed by all the incredible stats she was providing however I knew nothing can be guaranteed. I had already set up my Google My Business listing so essentially all I was paying for was Local Insights to check this and update one post per month. I always thought £54 for one update per month was expensive bit again wanted to give them a try. I regularly updated my own listing however on visiting again the sales rep told me to stop updating as much, and James at the office also advised not to do as many updates. Many would disagree with this. I decided to stop the service as really £54 for one update per month is excessive. I did explain this to James who again made it appear they were doing a lot more behind the scenes which is untrue as you can see any updates on your listing. Maybe this service would be value for money for people with no experience or knowledge, but really its so simple to do & I cannot at all see that it has warranted £54 per month. I am disappointed but again this is just a reflection of the Google Listing Optimiser.

We were contacted by Local Insights regarding the improvement of our google listing. With a very minimal marketing budget, we were initially reluctant to enlist their help, however the results were instantaneous. We were so impressed we invited the team to the showroom, to revamp our 360 degree tour with additional professional photographs. Our representative, Patrick, provides a monthly breakdown of key areas that have seen increased traffic - since enlisting their help a year ago; we have never seen a decrease in traffic to our website. We now solely rely on Local Insights as our marketing tool, they're that good! Thank you Patrick and Local Insights!
