Really didn't work for us. Having switched to another adviser I have a far better idea of what they were doing wrong strategically. Their formula no doubt works for some, but not at all for us. Had we come to our senses sooner we would have saved a lot of time and money. They are nice enough people, but it just didn't work. --- Having read the response from the owner, which I have to say has increased my disappointment... part of the package was to provide 'expert' marketing strategy and advice with regular quarterly reviews. I recognised that several elements of our original messaging was lacking and unclear, but that was why they were engaged in the first place. If the issues they now raise in response to this review were not rectified to their satisfaction it was their responsibility as our marketing provider to ensure they were addressed. Indeed correcting such things was central to their original sales pitch. As it was they just said that it would take time to build traction from the site. These deficiencies, which they now raise, were not known to us as still being detrimental to the effectiveness of the site or subsequent campaigns. As it is the residual value post-engagement after over 2 years of fees (a significant five digit sum) for their expert advice and service, in terms of meaningful contacts and traffic, is approximately zero. We have now started again with a new supplier and are very happy with the progress made so far.

Team were very nice, but i was lead to believe the marketing strategies outlined were affordable, in reality they would not even come near me with my budget, and after over an hour of phone conversations i did not once get a ball park figure. Be careful as companies like this do indeed have your trousers down.
Update - After a nice conversation, with Will, The issue was somewhat resolved, but again, i reiterate, no mention of price or costing.

I attended a training session at the JDR offices in regards to maintaining and updating our new website. The training was on a one to one format with Matthew Tudge. Matthew was very informative and explained to me everything I wanted to know in step by step detail. The session wasn’t rushed and Matthew asked if I had any questions or if he could help me on any other matters. He provided me with some very useful information regarding Marketing and Social Media. We have two businesses and originally asked JDR to redesign our electrical website. They were extremely professional and did a great job.
As we had a good experience with them, we then asked them to redesign our products website. Both websites are professional, modern and mobile friendly. They are helpful and provide a great service during the whole of the project, they are experts in their field so help from initial website design ideas, to script writing (a must for us in making the overall product professional) to going live. Everyone we have dealt with at JDR are great, but In particular I would like to thank Amber for all the hard work and patience when I have changed my mind and jiggled things around - all dealt with with a smile !! Had a fabulous experience working with JDR. I engaged them in supporting a company I work at as MD. The company needed to revitalise it's marketing and starting a content marketing approach. We spent a lot of time outlining the project requirements best approaches, strategies and tactics. Content marketing is no quick fix approach and the companies that promise this are simply lying (in my humble opinion) JDR never promised a quick fix or to transform the company over night, they promised and delivered a well thought out, long term sustainable marketing approach. I was also able to ask for support and help on sales. Would highly recommend.

The team created an amazing design with no input from myself other than 'we need great looking jerseys' They were quick and extremely responsive in communication. My company had one of their 'top' sales guys in. One of the worst meeting / presentations I've ever been involved in. He knew very little about our company, kept pronouncing our name wrong (very rude and insulting) and didn't actually seem to have a clear strategy for the meeting and presentation - and so no actual solution to our 'problems' which he actually hadn't communicated to us in any clear way.
He then went on to espouse the values of blogging, highlighting the six shares that one of their blogs had had since 2013 - utterly embarrassing.
It was that bad that I'd wager that all the anonymous glowing reviews on this page are actuall the JDR group themselves.

I first heard about these guys through doing a search for website builders in Derby and JDR came up so I contacted them and set up an initial meeting with Will, I was instantly impressed with the level of knowledge and I knew that JDR would help me take my business to the next level.
My main point of contact is Amber and I have to say she must have so much patience as the amount of emails I have bombarded her with over the past few months has been unbelievable and she always responds with a lovely email back that makes us feel as a company so valued.
The website JDR has built us is fantastic and just what we need but equally as important to us is the aftersales service which I can say is excellent.

Overall a frustrating experience for £350 a month. Whilst I found the account Manager Daniel very pleasant to talk to after 4 months I failed to see my site reach within even the top 100. The initial email stated I 'should see at least one of my keywords appear on page one of google although not guaranteed'. It was me that disavowed the bad links and couldn't understand why bad links hadn't been removed by the JDR group. Surely that's the first place you start. Several points of concern were raised to their "Director" Will, who told me on the phone, that "if we have to justify our methods to you then you should just cut your losses and move on". Not the response I had expected. All of the above information can be supported by various emails to and from the group.
