Professional Outfit Was received in the indoor park area by a friendly chap who already knew my name - great start. Booked a £500 cambelt change, service chap sold the brake fluid change, no problem I needed it. On collection I was told that the engineer had found that I have a long life cambelt and that it will last for 120,000 miles. So only cost £69 for fluid change. Needless to say I am very impressed by this level of service, I am in sales so I fully understand the need to sell additional and sometimes unnecessary items, for the auto repair industry this practice is standard. Finally, here is a Dealership I am willing to trust.

Very professional service. Both thorough and swift. Volkswagen sent me a video to my email of technicians working on my vehicle and provided an interactive list of things that may need attention. Just tick what you want to be done from the comfort of your home and they will take care of it. It's different to what I'm used to but has made servicing a doddle. Jason was very helpful and a real pleasure to meet. 5*

I can't give no stars but would if I could. They took £85 pounds of me for diagnostic didn't find the problem so wanted another 500 to get into car and check for problem. I refused and didn't want to pay the £85 cos wasn't mentioned to me before hand when I was booing my car in. The paper my husband signed they had written £85 on it after he had signed it and left the car. They said I could not get keys to my car so had to pay and said they always let there customers know about this fee so the guy said to pay now and take car and he will investigate and if the phone conversation I had with them revealed they did not mention it then I will get a refund. Well wooohooo I got SCAMMED cos no one called me and when I call they say someone will get back to me. waiting since 3 weeks.????????

Don’t bring our car here for any repairs: they will ignore your concerns, in particular when a fault is intermittent and doesn’t happen on the day you bring the car in, run a general “diagnostics” and find some other expensive things to do instead. They will argue with you about everything you ask them to do and at the time of picking up the car all techs will have already gone home!

Bad experience with this guys never use again this garage bad people and bad customer service disgusting , lost of money and time in there... 1 month ago I bring my car in x2 times. Last visit I received a video from this guys and listen on that videos that man says ( sparks replaced and new engine oil and filters replaced, I don’t think so. This guys have done 2 jobs on my car change oil , filters , sparks , new dsg clutch and oil gearbox . today I check the sparks and nothing have been changed... ???? tomorrow morning I will check another things with my mechanic if all this have been replaced correct... if not I will open process with the curt about this guys , disgusting people on this vw lookers garage bad service and lost of time and money on this ???? only get you money and don’t doing nothing in your car ... ????

By writing this review i want to warn other people from going into this place (especially females ).As i had got a troubles with my car just went to see them for advice but instead getting any i received very unprofessional atetude by laughing at me and disrespected chat with one of their male staff sitting behind the desk and i have been shouted by mechanic that i should know all the technical details about the car like a professional! (If i do know everything why should i look for their services ) Never will go there anymore or recommend it!

Wanted to book an appointment via the contact form. Apparently this is not possible. I received a call during working hours at the office and was not able to take it. I received a message to call back where the number was hardly understandable as the lady has spoken too fast. I tried to call back and after the second attempt I reached a lady where the result of the phone call was the line was too bad to understand each other and I requested to write an email. In the email I was asked to give all the details I have already sent on the contact form which I stated. The reply was they can't find a contact form with my request and details. So why did they know to contact me and how????????????? Shortly after that I received a new phone call where I had to explain three times it is not possible for me to talk at the phone during working hours by telling everything again and again. My advice: If you are a jobseeker at home you may have the time to tell things several times. If not, go somewhere else.

My first review of anything on Google after 15 years of use. I generally have absolutely no inclination to do so. Driven to do so by shockingly bad service with VW. I've been told that windscreen wiper blades falling apart after 7,000 miles use of my car is fair wear and tear, the parts are fit for purpose and that the fact that I've done 7,000 had no correlation to the amount of use of the blades. Apparently I could have been sat in traffic for 2 hours everyday and used them loads! We'll see what trading standards have to say about that being fair use!!

Booked service and requested for replacement clips on the wheel arch trim. Got a call few days before day of service to confirm appointment and confirmed again that these clips will be required. On day of service... "we have to order them in". I was not advised that car was completed and i could collect either and that's after i received a call the afternoon to advise me that i should replace a tyre in the near future and that they will call me when car is finished. They quoted me to replace the said tyre but charge almost 100% more then the 1st competitor on google when searching. I sincerely hope this gets better when the Battersea branch construction is done but I'd rather recommend you find another service centre. Edit: 11/04/2018 - To date still no response after service centre

1. Rude service team. 2. Called about a specific problem, was offered a quick check over if I bought it down that day. This turned out to be a £75 diagnostic and a 3hr wait. 3. Was told about a fundamental catastrophic problem with the car, we then took it to a trusted back St garage who said it wasn't actually a problem. 4. Grumpy sales manager seemed to use a mix of bullying / panic tactic / 'best friend' who could save me money, technique to try to sell me a new car from them. Poor. Poor. Poor.

When I bought the car was given excellent service. Brought it in for my free service a year later and the service was terrible. Was told it would take an hour and half so went home. Was also told I would be called when it was ready. Didn't get a call all day even though it had been there since 10am. The next day still nothing so I called midday only to be told no-one was around to speak to me, they will call me back. Waited but no-one did so called again and was told yes my car was ready but I had to collect it by 7pm as they were closing. It was going to take me an hour to get there so no way I could get there in time. When I asked why I was not called earlier I was given no valid reason only an apology from the receptionist which is not going to get me my car back. Useless!

The aftersales department are the best, they managed to fix all my issues and have treated me with so much respect. Better then all other vw retailers I've visited. I also forgot to mention the parts department who manage to solve all my queries. I would highly recommend them.

DO THE FOLLOWING: 1.READ THIS REVIEW. 2. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. 3. TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE. Shockingly bad. I took my car in for a service. I came back the next day and whilst walking past the car on the way in to the customer entrance I noticed the passenger window had been left wide open after the service and rain had been pouring in all night. The passenger side of the car, a year old GTI, was soaking wet. Further the service book was lost and/or stolen from the car, the service team did not know what had happened to it... I obviously complained - and was offered a valet and free fix of another issue and replacement service book. I booked the car in: - 1. Having dropped the car off I was told, over the phone, the part of the valet could not be completed because they needed the car for 2 days. - 2. The problem they offered to fix was not fully fixed - to do with the brakes. - 3. Another problem I asked them to fix was a broken USB port. I was told: 'the system did not show any faults'. It was a visible physical problem....these people are clearly not capable of identifying basic issues. - 4. They further refused to replace the service book with a like for like copy. Completely unacceptable. Never take your car here. It could be an expensive mistake.

After trying to phone them for a week, I eventually get booked in for a service. This service (btw) was offered to me for free as the previous experience I had with them was.....horrendous. Alas, not to miss out on a free service, within 24 hours of driving out of their forecourt, the cars transmission has gone. Thank goodness I wasn't in France when this happened. Wait, I was :-/ Despite me calling to discuss, their feedback was 100% denial - didn't want to know and became close to aggressive. This, plus getting a puncture when I went to pick the car up (I promise, you can't make this stuff up!) - I cannot recommend you avoid this place enough. Deceitful is probably the best word I can use for this place. Never again.

Very poor customer service all round . I have been there twice and it has not improved, my car is leased from ALD and it comes with service and maintenance package that is the only reason that I will take my car to that particular garage. I will look for another garage for my next service it might be a bit far from me but I think it will be worth it. Really bad attitude by the service team. Hate to go back again. Hope never.

I was very disappointed after using this establishment. They called to tell me the car was ready after a service. I picked it up and it was not even washed. I had to ask them to stamp my log book, and now my service due light is on, only after 1 year into my 2 year service plan. Not bad after paying £570. I would never use this establishment again for servicing, I am sure they are good as selling cars, just not servicing them.

I was told I have 3 years free servicing when I bought my car.... but it was not honored the 2nd year and had my car sitting at service center while I was being sold extra services which didn't cover the servicing for the day. All of these were being discussed and calls bouncing around for hours end while they had my car was held up at their servicing...appalling...I will never buy car or service from Lookers again!

Avoid. Went there to book for a service- was advised to go back home and book online. Did it- as they suggested. Went back for service just to find out that they can not see my booking- and then they were able to book me straight away whilst waiting. Then couple of months after my air compressor died. Was advised by VW UK to contact my nearest dealer to obtain part number as I wanted to buy it somewhere else than from VW- to get it cheaper. After contacting them I heard that it is not in their policy to disclose to the customers part numbers. It only means will have to go to my mechanic to let him have a look under the bonnet for the part number. Car always serviced with VW- never again.

Awful!!! Ridiculously unprofessional! They did not deserve 1 star.... I booked a slot to get my car serviced for Saturday the 6th of August. I drove there and i dropped the car at 8.45. I have been told that my car will be ready by 11.30. Of course they did not offer me a lift and i had to walk in the industrial area of Wimbledon park.. I got a text at 12.30 that my car was ready to collect (1 hour later than expected). I arrive there at 12.45 where they tell me that my car isn't ready, because it's being washed. At 13.30, after chasing them they realised that they cannot locate my keys. I was quite annoyed having to wait for so long..Quite anxious that they didn't know where my car or my keys were... At 13.40 my car arrives outside, but the person who drove it disappears. The car wasn't washed, the receptionist (Steve) did not have a clue where my keys were... Other customers were there trying to find their vehicles.. A complete chaos. When i complained for the delay Steve was quite honest, telling me that he didn't want to be there so late either!!!!!! When i called to complain at VW Battersea , i did not get any satisfactory response... other than "what do you want???" Conclusion: They didn't have a clue, they were completely unorganised, I paid in full, my car wasn't washed, they couldn't find my keys, I had to wait 2 hours (1 hour after the "your car is ready for collection text") to collect my car that "was being washed". I have serious doubts about the work they did.. They seriously need to think about the customer service they offer...

Someone hit and knocked/damaged our side mirror on our VW on a Saturday. Hassan helped see us even though they were closing (1pm). We got there 10 minutes before 1pm, helped us out to fit a mirror , didnt try rip us off and didn't complain at all. He was helpful fitting the mirror for us. Friendly service, great customer satisfaction delivered! Thanks Hassan!

@VWUKHelp . I have been experiencing gearbox issues/ noise with my golf. I booked into vw battersea last monday to investigate. I have been informed that there is a severe oil leak from the gearbox and bolts loose... previously this year I had my vehicle booked in with Leeds VW where the gearbox was removed to inspect the clutch due to a separate noise/ coming out of gear issue. I have been told the oil leak has caused internal damage to the bearings inside the gearbox. They have told me my vehicle needs to go back to Leeds for the repairs as this is their fault! I've got in touch with vw Leeds and vw care however no one will take responsibility for 3/4 bolts being loose on my gearbox which has been caused by the retailer! Firstly I am concerned that I have been driving a vehicle with loose gearbox bolts! And secondly my vehicle that is under manufacturers warranty is not being repaired!? Also combined with the lack of contact from all parties! I am now forces to take public transport as the courtesy vehicle I was given has been taken off me. I am disappointed with the service I am receiving and need help! I am now at the point I don't even want my car back being disillusioned with the vw brand.

Avoid at all costs you have been warned, what started out as a routine air con re gassed £80 which was ok now escalated into something much much worse, by the time I got the car home all manner of warning lights came on, ecp, flat tyre, engine managment light, never ever seen this before these guys have service the car from new and this was where it was brought from, the health check stated low on oil, coolant and need new front pads and noisy timing chain from cold, how could it be from cold when the engine was at normal temperature before? Suspicious. On a car with only 30k Took the car back was told needed a sensor, front pads and discs, after almost a 3 hour wait with the warning lights still on and even more alarmingly a more pronounced rattle from the engine. Even after the car was driven around another 45 min wait for the 'report to be written' I asked to purchase some coolant which they did not top up again and I had already topped up the oil the previous day and was now given a quote for over £1600! I think this is highly suspicious and found myself in the shoes of some of other other shell shocked customers who I had seen in my previous lengthy waits and their bills of over 2k When I was purchasing my coolant they threw in a bottle of screenwash too? I have never know a dealer to give any thing free from a service desk . I am certainly no fool and am bitterly disappointed at being conned and I suspect worse the car tampered with, I was not charged for the car being 'looked' at again but it clearly did not feel right driving the short distance home. Lookers are a big dealership and I am sure their senior managment may agree there is something wrong here. Will definitely never be going going back, you have been warned!

If you are thinking of getting your car serviced here, DON'T DO IT. Read below for my experience; Update - 08/05/2017 Just had one of the more surreal telephone conversation of my life with a service representative. During the call they refused to refund me for breaking the air conditioning and went on to say that it was quite possible that a stone could have smashed the air conditioning unit in the minutes after I had left the dealership. Incredible. Update - 06/05/2017 I'm back. I'm back and I failed to take my own advice, well done me. Get your air conditioning serviced they said, summer coming they said. So i did, for almost £100 quid. I really am a mug. Anyway the previously cold and perfectly functional air conditioning no longer works. CONGRATULATIONS LOOKERS YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN! 2015 - I don't normally write reviews but my experience at Lookers has been so uniformly terrible that I though I should warn others to steer clear. If you are getting your car serviced, the servicing team do not seem capable of doing an initial diagnostic overview in favour of calling you every day for a week having 'just found another problem'. I had brake pads on Monday, tyres on Tuesday, Unable to download new satnav software on Wednesday and Tyre pressure monitor problem on Thursday. You can also forget about talking to anyone on the servicing team because they will not answer the phone, ever. And i mean ever. You'd better really like tinny mono-vivaldi being played on loudspeaker because that's all your going to get. The servicing team also appear to be fond of lying. When I said 'you lot are difficult to get hold of' while picking up my car the lady I was dealing with said she had left me two voicemails which was simply not true, i hadn't had any voicemails. All in all two stars is generous.
