I have been a client since 2014. I had a complicated immigration history and when I made that phone call I was not sure if they were going to take my case but fortunately they did and that was the best decision I ever made by choosing qualified lawyers who are very direct and will tell you if you have a strong case and the ratio of you winning a case. Evan has always been a phone call away if I had any questions and he made sure all my paper work for submission was correct and up to date. Finally Evan has worked very well during this challenging times by working remotely during covid he made sure I received all of my correspondence on time and updated me all the way and now me and my daughter have settlement ILR.

Professional yes, but their communication and completely lack of responsiveness is just so tiredsom. They now have had my daughter certificate of Registration as a British Citizen for over a month and still haven’t send it to us. At first they asked to send it after NY due to poor Royal Mail service during Christams and NY now I have no idea why it’s still hasn’t been sent. My husband and I have been trying to call, email... nothing. Today they finally answered their phone and promised me to send it today and confirm vi email once it’s been send... it’s now 7pm and I haven’t heard anything back. As much as David knows what he’s doing the headache the have to run CONSTANTLY behind him is just not worth it. It was finally resolved and David is very sweet I just took one star off as the whole headache of having the run behind is to much to disregard. Thank you for sorting it at the end

Oh dear. I sought their help on an immigration matter, then they failed to respond to my emails. Sent a chaser and...nothing. Not even a holding email or acknowledgment. For me responsiveness is critical when selecting legal counsel. So I took my business elsewhere. I have no idea why this firm has so many positive reviews, my experience was certainly not a happy one.

They must have so many clients to not answer potential new ones

Evan and his team are very thorough and made sure I was able to be eligible for the visa before I applied, so the process of getting the visa was straightforward. I now have a partner visa and am continuing to happily live my life in London. The whole visa process can be stressful (because of the government's own extensive list of requirements) but the RLegal team have done this a million times before and know the law inside out! First of all, I would like to Thank Mr Evan for handling my case and for the successful result. I am grateful for the fast outcome of my case. I did consult a few solicitors my friends advised me, but for some reason, I don't want to take the risk. However, when I meet Mr Evan, I felt like even if my case is hard, but I have high hope that he will win my case. We provided all the evidence and did all his advice. Before finding RLegal, i had received a rejection for my spouse's visa. Despite the rejection RLegal took care of my next application and thanks to their experience, they were able to succeed where other firms i previously hired had failed. They simply have the experience and care and they take the time to ensure they do a proper job. I would highly recommend RLegal Solicitors as they have successfully handled my spouse visa extension. The level of service I received was exceptional. The knowledge and patience Julian Torreggiani demonstrated is remarkable. As someone who worries about every little detail, I needed to be reassured every step of the way, and he did this without ever showing any impatience. He is meticulous in his attention to detail which I really appreciate, especially with something so important. Unlike with the many law firms I called before selecting RLegal, Julian who answered the phone when I first called was very forthcoming with advice. He discussed my circumstances for almost 30 minutes before any mention of payment, even then, it was I who inquired about fees. Their fees are reasonable and capped without hidden costs. For most of us who do not have unlimited financial resources, it is important to know in advance the exact financial commitment expected. Which brings me to an annoying feature common to most other immigration law firms i called before RLegal. These firms supposedly charge depending on the hours it would take to handle your case. I say to them, learn from RLegal. Start by listening to potential clients when they first call instead of asking them to come for a £150/- consultation, and if it is a straightforward case, give them a proper quote rather than trying to part them from their hard-earned money an hour at a time!

My experience with Julian from RLegal was very good from day one. I spoke with more than 4 different solicitors before finding Julian and he was the only one who didn't worry me even more by saying that my case was too complicated. The fact that he is not really a solicitor it did not make any difference for me as I noticed he had very good knowledge and confidence of what he was doing the whole time due to his experience. He explained about the risks but gave me hope and calmed me down when I was panicking. My VISA was approved but even if the outcome was different I'm so grateful for Julian anyways because I know he did everything he could do for me and I'm sure I wouldn't make it without his help. He was very professional and caring. It's a shame not everyone in this area is like that and just think about the money. I would highly recommend R-legal as a law firm, which is fully dedicated to your case, and achieve great results! I think I liked it mostly for this “friendly” vibe together with high professionalism. At first I went through a 1-hour legal consultation with David Robinson, a partner, and his confidence and attention to detail is phenomenal, plus he is very nice person. I was fortune enough and found R Legal after a frustrating experience with our previous solicitor. It was very stressful as we only had one month to prepare for the appeal. Evan has a very professional approach and a wide range of experience. My case was complicated and the amount of evidence my husband and I had to provide was huge. A response to my review is appreciated and I have removed my comments as there is alot of good comments posted here. My time is equally as valuable and constrained as yours, particularly during lunch times, hence my telephone call and email in advance of the booked appointment. Yes document certification is a straightforward process, my comments were mainly in relation to the manner in which I was dealt with, a very different experience to that some years ago.

Evan has successfully managed two of my (rather complicated) work permit applications in the UK now. Honesty and integrity aside, he is really good at what he does. Good, grounded advice and management of applications, no flashy gimmickry and false promises. Importantly, he is very clear on how things done now, will impact future applications. Highly recommend the team.

Hello Everyone, RLegal is a very knowledgeable firm. I dealt with Evan Remedios as I needed help with my visa. I was in a very complex situation and Evan was very knowledgeable and professional. The turnout was a success and they are still my immigration lawyers till date.

A colleague recommended my wife and i to contact Evan at RLegal, we were in a poor situation with our first visa application having been rejected (largely due to poor advise from an immigration advisory firm). However our nerves were quickly soothed due to their thorough and communicative approach. Both on the phone and in person Evan was available to work through the options (we could of applied via EU or UK immigration rules) his strict review gave us confidence at a very stressful time. I have been wanting to write this for a while but have delayed it because I wanted to have the UK spouse visa issued first. The reason for this is because I think the greatest testimony is results. I want to tell you about my experience with Evan Remedios and his team @RLegal Solicitors. I honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice of immigration solicitor. I actually didn’t do much research on this firm before I first called them and had not yet made any commitment to using their service, I just had a couple of quick enquiries when I first called. Looking back it was this first phone call that made me decide to use their services. Evan was very helpful and informative from the very beginning. The team at RLegal have clearly dealt with countless UK Spouse visa cases evident by the wealth of knowledge they have on the topic. I look back now on the little technicalities that I would have failed to have noticed myself without their guidance and am very glad I took the insurance policy of using them. I really commend people that apply for the UK spouse visa without a solicitor because the amount of time they must spend learning all the details of the legislation must be very stressful. I personally do not think it is worth the time or the risk to do this application without a good solicitor. Punctuality in answering emails is another strength at Rlegal. I have dealt with a few solicitors in my time and I am not a patient person when it comes to delayed responses. This was never an issue with RLegal, I bombarded them with a lot of questions during the time I was using their service and clear answers were always given promptly. Anybody that has applied for a UK spouse visa knows how important attention to detail is. I have heard of people having their application declined for things as minor as missing a dated stamp on a bank statement. I sincerely believe that a lot of UK immigration officers look through applications and evidence with the intention of finding an excuse to decline it. Evan knows the sorts of excuses they use and he uses great attention to detail in ensuring the application is water tight. I can think of several mistakes I would have made that could have compromised the whole application if I didn’t have his guidance. My case was particularly complex due to the nature of my work and the way I get paid. UK immigration law gave me a lot of hoops to jump through just so I could meet their requirements. This was one of the many reasons this probably involved a lot more work for Rlegal than their average case does. Considering the amount of hours that were put into this case I am grateful that they still only charged me their standard application fee, which I will also add was a very reasonable fee. December is when the application was made. My son was in Fiji with his mother at the time and was limited to the amount of time he could spend in Fiji due to Fiji visa policies (he has a British passport, but not a passport for Fiji where his mother is from). Evan took time out of his Christmas leave and on December 24th when he should have been at home with his family he was dealing with my documents to ensure they reached the visa processing centre on time. After all of the conversations I have had with Evan on the phone and through emails I can say that he truly cares about his work and reuniting families that have been unfairly separated. We now have the visa. My partner will have to reapply in 2022 when her visa expires. We will certainly be using Rlegal’s services again when this time comes.
