I originally utilized the services of Breytenbach Immigration Consultants in Pretoria. They were sharp, sussed and highly professional.
When it came to the visa extension, I again utilized their services, this time dealing with their London office consultants.
What awesome service we received once again; Laya and Sam are totally on point, responsive and always looking out for their client. They kept me informed of progress along the way and guided me through the process in a caring and efficient manner. I always felt I was in good hands and then BINGO! Very pleased with the service. My husband recommended them to me, as he used Breytenbachs Immigration Service three times before he's got his British citizenship. I used their service for my second spouse visa, for ILR application and for British citizenship. Lena was very lovely, helpful and professional in every aspect. Lena and her assistant Dita (who was helping me on my last application and was great in every aspect) were always quick in responding to my emails and phone calls. Breytenbachs assisted with my mother and my EU pre settled status
They were absolutely professional, friendly and helpful through the process, in the middle of the covid pandemic.
Even when I had a bit of a meltdown and was worried when we needed to book my 87 year old mom for biometrics while covid was in progress, they reassured me and handled everything to ensure mom did not have to travel too far.
Laya and Megan are such wonderful people and will recommend Breytenbachs to everyone who needs assistance with UK Visas and passports.

If you are reading this you have come to the right place. Look no further . Breytenbachs are the best in Immigration Consultancy. I have been on a very long Spousal Visa journey with them since the first travel visa in 2016 to my current Spousal Extension in 2020. I still have years to go but I know I have no worries as I am in great hands. I have had the privilege of dealing with the South African branch and the UK branch and even dealing with JP Breytenbach himself(SA branch) . No matter how many times a day I emailed or how many questions I asked they were always returned swiftly and all questions answered, and I do ask A LOT of questions. This is the second time I have made us of Breytenbachs services and their service is really nothing short of exceptional. They helped me secure a complicated EEA family permit in South Africa in 2019 after it was initially rejected. Once I moved across to the UK they prepared my pre-settled application, which has just been approved. The application took over 7 months due to COVID delays and I bombarded Lena & Dita with emails for updates which they always responded to promptly & kindly. The peace of mind you receive from Breytenbachs is well worth the money spent (which isn't that much considering I received continuous service from them for over a year). They have us as clients for life and we will definitely use them when the time comes for settled status, as well as continuing to refer them on to family & friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My husband and I are now using BIC for the second time. There is something to be said for doing it right. The monies paid in no way can ever compare to the levels of peace of mind we have when BIC deals with our case.
Since our initial spouse visa application submitted in Cape Town JP has basically held our hand every step of the way. Now that we are renewing he is still keeping a watchful eye like a guardian angel, but has trusted Verity to take the reigns and lead us further. Not dealing with immigration and visas every day the experience can be scary and daunting but the staff at BIC has been nothing less than amazing. Verity and JP have been comforting, confident and always available for a nervous question.

Laya and Megan are amazing! They have been so helpful; assisting with sorting out documents and answering every question 24/7. I sent my application for renewal of a spousal visa (with express - as we wanted the process to take a bit quicker than the general waiting times) in at the end of Feb 2019 and received an answer within hours. I moved to the UK 6 years ago as an entrepreneur, and yesterday my citizenship application was approved. It's impossible to explain how much work goes into such a venture, how stressful it is, and how much help and guidance you need along the way. On my particular visa, there were so many boxes to tick, so many requirements, so many things that had to happen in a specific way, at a specific time, and so forth. I guess you could figure it out on your own, but let me tell you, good luck with that! It's not cheap to use a service like Breytenbachs, but in my case it was worth it. They helped me in the research phase, getting the initial visa, when I arrived in the UK they offered guidance in setting up and running the business, after three years they helped me to extend my Visa, after 5 years they helped me to get my indefinite leave to remain, after 6 years they helped me to apply for citizenship... Writing it out like that in a few sentences doesn't do it justice. In reality, it's an enormous amount of work, stress, money, etc. My indefinite leave to remain application alone was like three bibles worth of paperwork! Verity was extremely efficient and knowledgeable throughout and my primary point of contact from the start of my venture till the very end. Hannes on the other hand always knew what was going on with my case. He was genuinely invested in my venture and hands on involved, often weighing in with detailed emails, and sometimes just a bit of encouragement. If you're struggling on your own in a foreign country, it means a lot when someone sends you an encouraging email in Afrikaans - keep up the good work, things will work out fine, etc. There is a personal touch with Breytenbachs, they really take pride in what they do, and in my case, went over and above. They're not perfect and there's certainly room for improvement, as is the case with any organisation, but I can definitely recommend them. Be warned however, this whole mission is not easy - it will take a toll on your wallet and your mental health. It doesn't surprise me one bit that people just give up half way through. Hardest thing I've ever done.

I instructed Ms Laya Strydom (ably assisted by Ms Megan Brown) of Breytenbachs to act on my behalf in applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain and thereafter British citizenship, and as a result of their thorough knowledge and highly professional skill, both these applications were approved by the Home Office without delay, and within the stated time frames.
I cannot thank them enough for successfully handling these very important issues on my behalf, as I personally know of someone who tried to apply on their own, and due lack of knowledge and experience of the law and procedure, was sent back to their home country after their application failed.
Breytenbachs professional fees are very reasonable and competitive, especially considering the very serious consequences of a failed application.
In three weeks time I will be receiving my invitation to my British Citizenship Ceremony - thank you Breyetenbachs!
